Instead of put together sloppily like a fast-food place would have, Smash Shack Burgers spent time stacking their burgers and making them look just as amazing as they taste. I had a side of mac & cheese, which was delicious as well. The staff were extremely kind and very patient. We were greeted by a staff member immediately and had the menu explained to us. Everything in the building was very clean and organized, I saw no spills or dirty tables at all. There is only one 2-seat table inside along with some benches lining the sides. This is very understandable due to the limited space. However, there are a few picnic tables outside that were also extremely clean and tidy. Would definitely come back!

I checked the menu several times, and "coney sauce" was never listed as part of the dish. When I tried to address the issue, the customer service was very disappointing. The manager apparently didn't feel the situation was important enough to address, and the employee at the counter seemed annoyed that I even brought it up. I wasn't asking for a refund -- I simply wanted what I actually ordered. Instead, I left feeling ignored and unheard. Customer service and communication matter just as much as the food.

And I think that might have been our downfall. We went the breakfast route and started with a Cinnamon roll made right on the griddle. It created this crispy char that gave the roll more of a funnel cake texture. Unique, and the icing definitely enhances it (as it does most cinnamon rolls). Their special breakfast sandwich, "The Morning Wake-up" touts a "2x the size English Muffin" and they were not lying. This sandwich had cheese, multiple meats and vegetables, and I needed to take half of it home due to sheer size. What it didn't have... sauce. What it needed... sauce, syrup, aioli or something to lubricate all of those toppings. The breakfast potatoes on the side needed salt/seasoning/sauce, too, to be more to my liking. It was a similar experience with my wife's Reuben and the fries that she ordered; the sandwich had its moments, but it made me wish one of us got a burger like most of the other patrons.

If you don't know what Cincinnati style chili is, then be prepared for a whole new chili experience! Think cinnamon and Chinese 5-spice as strong components of the chili. Mmmmmmm They offer GLUTEN FREE options which was great for my daughter. She enjoyed the 3-WAY BAKED POTATO which comes with chili and cheese on top. I had to devour a classic 4-WAY CONEY DOG. The 4-WAY adds onions to the chili and cheese (or you can opt for beans instead of onions). The bun is perfectly moist and the hotdog is tender. This is the perfect dish here. I also ordered a small 4-way spaghetti. However it wasn't small. It's a full lunch all by itself. I left full! Our waitress was super friendly and talkative.

I wanted the order I paid for ‍. Im so disappointed with how disrespectful he was to me and will never come back to this location.

They offered to make the fries with only salt without me asking which was a big help. The seasoned fries are excellent but they are a bit much for my little ones The shrimp tacos were excellent. They were loaded in shrimp and the right amount of sauce. The hot dog was really good. I'm always situated when the dog and bun alone can stand apart. Theirs does and it's a credit to the quality of the dog and the preparation of the bun. The best perfect finish of the meal was the beignets. They were cooked perfectly and were light and airy and topped with powdered sugar. Some may think the powdered sugar was excessive but I thought it was spot on and a huge hit with my kiddos. I'll be back again be t time they are zaftig and if I happen upon them when I'm out and about I'm Definitely ordering beignets on the spot!

I ordered the double smashburger with cheddar and regular french fries. The Highlights: Packaging & Fries: Packaging was on point. The fries defied the standard takeout curse and were genuinely crispy straight out of the box. The Flavor: The burger was flavorful, properly seasoned, and intensely juicy. A Couple Notes: The cheddar added a bit more grease than expected (honestly might just melt my own slice next time). The bottom bun did take a deep dive into the juice pool during the ride home, but a quick trip to the air fryer sauna rescued it immediately. The Verdict: Super tasty, satisfying, and definitely scratched the itch. Worth a spot in the takeout rotation! A note to all the burger connoisseurs out there; If you're looking for gourmet.. point your your Chef's hat somewhere else, but for an upgrade from fast food it's ideal.
