Went to string Town road Tims . Was 6:30 and didn't have any ice coffee. Ask if they had hot and yes they did so I ask if I could get hot coffee and add ice. This place has gone down hill in recent years. I would not recommend anything with eggs because they are often overcooked and not very good. They do have good bagels and cream cheese. Their iced cap is also decent. However, their chocolate chip muffins no longer have the sugar (crunchy) top, which is very disappointing. It is what made their muffins really good/special. Stopped here for coffee and donuts on our way from Cincinnati to Akron because we fell in love with Tim Hortons while traveling in Canada last year. Unfortunately, our experience at this store was not good at all, from start to finish. The ladies bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while - floor was dirty, TP dispenser broken, lock in stall door inoperable. After the restroom visit, my husband and I went to the counter to place an order. We were behind a man who was obviously unhappy about something, and the young lady behind the counter was trying to be gracious and helpful. At the same time, the young man working at the drive-thru window was shouting four-letter words at the same man - a shouting match ensued between the two, with the young lady trying her best to calm down her fellow employee. Honestly, it escalated to the point that threats were being made and I became frightened - our young grandson was with us, and in hindsight, I wish we had walked out. Thank goodness, the unhappy customer finally walked out (still shouting), and the young lady asked my husband if she could take his order. He quietly ordered his coffee, and I asked if they had sour cream Timbits - she wasn't sure, but glanced over at a rack behind the counter and asked another young lady working if there were any there. She confirmed that there were, so we asked for a box of 20 sour cream Timbits. The girl taking our order asked the other girl to box those up for us. We paid for our purchase, picked up our coffee and box, and quickly headed out the door to our car. We had a conversation with our grandson about what he had seen and heard and apologized to him for having experienced that. We all took a deep breath, and drove back onto the highway. Hoping that the donuts would make things better for all of us, I opened the box to find a mixed variety of Timbits (only 2 of which were sour cream)...I was really disappointed. We were already on the road, and frankly, wouldn't consider going back for a refund or correction to our order. I'll be calling corporate headquarters tomorrow to let them know about the experience - sub par, and Tim would not be proud (except for the young lady who tried her best to calm down her colleague.) Can I put a zero star review? My daughter and I went this morning. Here was our experience: Came in, the place looked nice and clean. I guess that earns the one star. Get in line for the one register that is open. 10+ people in front of us. Stand there for 5 mins. No one comes to the register. Here is the scene behind the register. 10 people standing around doing nothing. One dude who looked to be 17 with hair covering his face vaping and playing on his phone. One tall lady. Super loud, takes of her mask and says she feels sick and asks if someone can cover her shift? No response. So she waved her arms above her head. Again with no mask and yells. Can someone take my shift. I am sick. After another 5 mins (10 total) no one taking orders, no one at the cash register 10 people standing around and not a single order taken. I go over to the young lady yelling and ask if anyone is taking orders? She says the young lady making drinks is the one taking orders. This kid has like 6 drinks in her hands. I ask why everyone else is sitting their vaping and playing on their phones, and only one person is working? She yells back to the kitchen and says "Stay out of site. The customers are complaining about you". We turned around and left. Everyone in that place except the young lady taking orders and making drinks for her customers should be fired. read more

I've never written a review before, but today I went here and ordered a sandwich. I pulled up to the window and they told me that they were out of chicken, so I said that was ok and I asked for the same one without chicken. Then after a few minutes they told me they were out of chips. No worries again, I got a cookie instead. Then I received my grilled cheese panini and it was just bread, a TON of butter, and couple of torn up pieces of American cheese. The guy on the microphone thinks he's on the radio. you can tale they switch coffee pots mid brew which makes one pot very strong and the other very weak. I have always wanted to try the magic that is supposedly Tim Hortons, I mean, people that have been here talk about it like its life changing or something. Well, the coffee is fine, nothing exceptional about it, but the food is just really, really bad. I don't know why anyone wants a mouthful of birthday cake at seven in the morning, but if you do, here you go. Then I got one of the new sandwiches, the Applewood Bacon Asiago Melt. Probably the saddest, most anemic looking thing I've ever come across. The bun was almost white, and did not look toasted at all. It was so white I expected there to be a raw dough flavor to it. There was one piece of bacon hidden inside, cut in half, and did not even reach the edge of the bread. The egg and cheese were barely warm, the cheese still a perfect square. It was a massive disappointment considering how good the picture on the menu made the thing look. I am a daily customer at Tim Hortons. I love TH coffee, but there is absolutely no way to predict the quality of service, food, or coffee from one visit to the next. I am shocked by the lack of attention Tim Hortons' Corporate office or the franchisee has given to manager and employee training. It's as though "throwing one's hands in the air and sighing" is standard operating procedure when it comes to taking responsibility when customers inquire about their orders, seek clarification about using the Tim Hortons mobile app or basically any form of assistance whatsoever. This is a management and training issue! Some of the employees I encounter are absolutely awesome, while others should be fired before they damage this restaurant's reputation further. I typically do not leave reviews but this was absolutely the worst dining experience of my entire life. First of all I stood at the counter and no one came to take my order. There were 12 employees behind the counter all talking and laughing but no one had time to come take my order for 15 minutes. Then the cherry on top I watched an employee Vape on to the bagels. I placed a mobile order and went to go pick it up, I chose to walk in to get my order and I walk in and was told someone would be with me shortly, I waited at the counter patiently then once again was told someone would be with me shortly and I said all I had was an online order and the woman behind shouted at me that her system was not up yet. I was not rude with her at all or anyone there I just stood there patiently and got disrespected. Being short staffed is one thing but being rude to your customers is another thing. This location has gone down hill over the past few years. I got a large triple triple coffee and when I got it I tasted it and it tasted like old coffee from earlier that morning. It seemed that where ever I was going the customer service was never really friendly, or they did not have something I was wanting, or it would take 10 minutes to get through the line for just coffee. However i have gone to this Tim Horton's for the last 6 months. (I normally go daily sometimes twice) I must say I have not had a bad experience yet!!! They always have fun, fast, and friendly people there. They have a way of making you feel like they know you and they want to help you with out getting your life story and impeding the flow of customers. I'm not sure who does the hiring there but they need a big thumbs up, as well as the rest of the management. i have worked retail for years and I know that the cores and values of a company are not relevant in a store that its management team and crew do not embrace. Skip the Stringtown location altogether! Early AM or anytime skip it. I had more then a few issues order wise on separate occasions. The worst of them was they had no doughnuts. Guy didn't inform me till it was time to pay. I instead had to pick something different. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. I did not have a menu in front of me so I asked him to pick one out for me and make it. I said I can't not order something because the order was for my husband who was at work. My husband called me from work and told me the breakfast sandwich was bread, bacon, and cheese NO EGG. On a different occasion I ordered hot chocolate. Same guy says do you want whip cream? I said sure :) I got up there and the guy said they were out of whip cream. How do you offer it and then next moment say your out of it? It was early morning too. These are just a couple orders not all we had a problem with. Don't bother calling the location and talking to the manager. It does not help.
