After looking over the menu, I decided to order a large pot of Adani tea to share. It was a rich, lightly sweetened, spiced milk tea that I enjoyed. For dessert, I had the pistachio milk cake. It was decadent and delicious. Cake was soaked in milk and covered with a layer of pistachio sauce. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop.

I think it was so far the biggest coffee shop I've seen in Edmonton. The place was decorated nicely and the furniture was higher quality compared to other coffee shops. The service was fantastic and they had very friendly and helpful staff. The pastry options were great and it was really hard to pick something. For the drink we picked mofawar and it was delicious! Overall I had a great experience at this business and can't wait to go back there and try other items on the menu! It's highly recommended!

My photo doesn't do it justice because it was packed full of tender marinated beef. It was some of the best beef I've tasted in a long time. I think that this was just recently added to the menu because it was on a piece of paper taped to the wall menu. Hopefully it will be a permanent addition to the menu. My partner had a ham, egg and cheese sandwich and she enjoyed it too. Consistent with my first review, Monacci Coffeehouse is an excellent place for lunch or breakfast. You can get your seasonal shots and then sit back and reward yourself with a bubble waffle, pastry or just a coffee. When Awake first opened I thought that a pharmacy and cafe was a weird combination, but they were ahead of their time. Today, a Tuesday, it's quite busy and we got one of the last tables. I could tell that others were here for the same combination as us. Awake has a small menu with just their bubble waffles and pasties but otherwise it's a fine place to stop for a break or to pick up a prescription.

The ambience is honestly beautiful, and the place itself has a lot of potential. Unfortunately,…read morethat's where the positives end. The service was awful. One of the staff members came across as demanding and constantly pressured people to buy something. My friend and I had already purchased food and wanted to share because everything was expensive, but we were basically forced to buy more. It felt less like customer service and more like being pushed into spending money. The favoritism was also impossible to ignore. I ordered a croissant and didn't receive any chips. When we asked if chips came with the order, we were told no. But the customer sitting right next to us had chips anyway. When we asked why, the only explanation we got was that they were "special." It made absolutely no sense and left us feeling singled out. A nice interior doesn't make up for rude service. The atmosphere might look welcoming, but the way customers are treated tells a completely different story. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve how they treat people.

I had planned on sitting inside at the table by the window, but when the AC kicked on, it was blowing right on me, and got downright chilly.
