The ambience is honestly beautiful, and the place itself has a lot of potential. Unfortunately,…read morethat's where the positives end. The service was awful. One of the staff members came across as demanding and constantly pressured people to buy something. My friend and I had already purchased food and wanted to share because everything was expensive, but we were basically forced to buy more. It felt less like customer service and more like being pushed into spending money. The favoritism was also impossible to ignore. I ordered a croissant and didn't receive any chips. When we asked if chips came with the order, we were told no. But the customer sitting right next to us had chips anyway. When we asked why, the only explanation we got was that they were "special." It made absolutely no sense and left us feeling singled out. A nice interior doesn't make up for rude service. The atmosphere might look welcoming, but the way customers are treated tells a completely different story. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve how they treat people.

After looking over the menu, I decided to order a large pot of Adani tea to share. It was a rich, lightly sweetened, spiced milk tea that I enjoyed. For dessert, I had the pistachio milk cake. I think it was so far the biggest coffee shop I've seen in Edmonton. The place was decorated nicely and the furniture was higher quality compared to other coffee shops. We tried the Adani tea and Mofawar coffee. The tea had a unique taste but not my favorite. Coffee tasted like coffee to me. I would recommend this place but the rice that had the seasoning was much more flavourful than the plain rice so I would keep that in mind.

Fortunately, Sunday afternoon, Google said they were less busy than usual, so I decided to head over. I ordered a Maple Macchiato, which was just OK. But the croissant-- oowee! I haven't had one that fresh since I got back from France, lo those many years ago. Not sure who their supplier is, but 2 thumbs up! I had planned on sitting inside at the table by the window, but when the AC kicked on, it was blowing right on me, and got downright chilly. The shadows were hitting the patio perfectly, so I grabbed an outdoor table. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up, making editing a bit of a challenge, but I definitely want to return. The place was quiet and pleasant and I can see getting a lot of work done there in the future.

I ordered a Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk and my boyfriend got the London Fog with Oat Milk. Both drinks were absolutely delicious. My latte was rich, creamy, and very tasty. The London Fog was also foamy and creamy, and the Earl Grey flavor shined through the drink. Everything was lovely. I was so impressed with this place that we came back again the next day. We ordered the London Fog, Golden Latte, some sort of mixed berry muffin, and a chocolate pastry. Both pastries were pretty good, and we finished them both quickly. My boyfriend's Golden Latte was great too. It reminded me of a Chai but this was coffee so that was cool. On the second consecutive day we went, the barista served us our drinks and pastries which was nice. This place has great service and nice employees. Although the tables are a little small, we love this place and I look forward to coming back again. p.s. I didn't take good pictures the first or second time because I was either really hungry or looking forward to drinking my latte lol. The latte art on my Vanilla Latte was beautiful though!
