with my four years experience with this , Tim Hortons since I used to go to school there
This was the worst Tim Hortons experience of my life. I was in the washroom when someone started knocking. I clearly said, "I'm using it," yet an employee still opened the door while a customer was standing behind her. I had my underwear on the floor and was completely exposed. I was so embarrassed and shocked that I broke down crying. My boyfriend had to confront them because I couldn't even speak from the humiliation.
What made it worse is that the employee who opened the door didn't even apologize. The manager apologized, but their excuse was ridiculous -- saying the employee "had headphones on" and basically implying that's just what to expect from a Tim Hortons washroom. That is unacceptable. My privacy and safety clearly meant nothing to them.
On top of that, my friend hasn't left her review yet, but she found a cockroach in her Tim Hortons coffee from this same location. She is planning to report it to Alberta Health Services because that is a serious health concern.
And it doesn't end there. I also found a fly inside the donut display case. I told the staff member, and she removed the tray. I stepped into the washroom for a moment, and when I came back out, I saw her put the same donuts back in the same spot as if nothing happened. Absolutely disgusting. Flies carry bacteria and germs -- this is a huge food safety issue.
Overall, this location has terrible hygiene, terrible customer service, and zero respect for customer privacy or safety. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone. Please avoid this Tim Hortons -- the experiences here have been beyond unacceptable. read more
