Okay, so the only reason I give this particular Tim Horton's a 2 star review is because I also accept my role to play in the altercation that occurred, however, that does not excuse their treatment towards me as a paying customer. Now, I've been known to have "butterfingers," if you will. This one morning I went in craving a blackberry yuzu sparkling quencher. I tried one for the first time a couple weeks ago and I gotta say, DELICIOUS!!! I don't know what they put in there, but I could slurp that up all day!!! Anyway, I go to order one, and they give me my quencher, but before I leave the store, it slipped out of my hands. Embarrassed but thirsty, I go back to the cashier and explained what happened and ask if I could get another one (free of charge, I never even got a sip after all) and the lady was a little rude and gave me a look but punched it in anyway. So the second one comes out, and I go to take it from her, but at this very moment, a car alarm from outside goes off and startled me, so I dropped this one as well. It went all over the floor. I go back to the lady and request another one, as I STILL haven't had my quencher, but this time she scoffs at me, hands me a straw, and tells me to "have at it" referring to the puddle of sparkling yuzu on the tile.
I was APPALLED. This lady wanted me to DRINK THE QUENCHER OFF OF THE FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!
This review would've been one star if a) I hadn't dropped it in the first place, and b) if the quencher wasn't as good as it was. I did have a few sips (I paid for it after all) but stopped when I got some weird looks from the other customers.
I think all in all, this Tim Hortons facilitates a very hostile and toxic environment that spreads to not only its workers, but it's patrons as well. I have never felt so disrespected and judged in my life. You have lost a customer to Second Cup!!!!!! read more
