As a test the wife went to Costco the next day and grabbed a pack of theirs and to be honest we got 12 of them for $8.00 bucks or $67 cents each. Yes, the La Boulangerie is larger by 20% or so but $0.68 is a far cry from $6.50 for ONE croissant, now in looking at the neighbourhood and the nice cars driving by I get it - but no sorry not for me! Maybe if you were the French Ambassador to Canada and you grew up eating them you might notice a difference in taste or you're a molecular chemist and KNOW - otherwise they tasted the same.
