Dear God, When I…read morepass through the pearly gates, please make sure this BLT is waiting for me, but with like, twice the hashbrowns. If you can make this happen during my century or so in purgatory, that would be most appreciated. Actually, do you think this sandwich would travel well? Could I Skip this home? Does Uber Eats deliver from Airdrie? These are all genuine thoughts as I demolished this sandwich this morning. After a truly mediocre dinner out the night before, a dear friend brought me to Jam's this morning. A few key points: 1. I know I mentioned the BLT but literally everything else that we ordered (Benny, GF Pancakes and Chicken) looked stellar. Food quality 10/10 2. Dude ferments his own black garlic and puts it in the hashbrowns. You can buy the garlic at their little grocery too. I would have done that but I'm not sure it would have been a good suitcase companion! Seems like the sausage might be home made too. 3. Service was super busy but we weren't in a hurry. This was definitely a sit, chat, chill, eat experience. 4. Totally unassuming outside, packed with charm inside. Great little ambience. 5. I am calling this destination brunch. Make the trip, sit, eat, and enjoy. They were on top of the coffee pot too :) So, go to Jam's. **This post brought to you buy a "Yelp Elite" - thanks for serving up a stellar brunch, my man. I'll be back!**

One very pleasant waitress and what appeared to be 3 kitchen staff. Our order of a BLT and 1/2 eggs bennie took almost an hour to arrive, we were just about to get up and leave. The blt had so much mayo it initially looked like an egg had been add to the sandwich because of the thick white strip on the outside of the bread. Once that was scraped off the bacon was delicious. The bennie was awful and sent back. The egg was cold, the hollandaise was cold, the avocado was brown and the hashbrown patty was almost black. The waitress kept trying to justify the condition of the food, I finally said I would not eat this at home so why would I eat it here? The bennie was removed from the bill however she acted like it was a huge favor not to pay for awful food. Even IF the food had been wonderful the prices were on the high side. Definitely would not recommend.

Disclaimer: basing this review on a one time visit with a really random order so can't say if it's…read moresuper accurate of this place. I came to check out this coffee shop when I was scoping a place to work for the day. Pleasantly surprised as it wasn't too busy but had a decent amount of seating and free wifi. I was really excited to see they had a beetroot latte on the menu which is something I've seen around but never tried. It cost a pretty penny around close to $6. The drink was not exciting at all - while pink, I expected some sort of latte art or something (not going to lie, I was ordering the drink partially because I wanted a nice photo). But to my dismay, the drink came in a takeaway paper cup even though I was sitting in, and secondly it was pretty much just super foamy on the top... no attempt at a nice pour of the milk. The drink was super sweet - I should have asked for it unsweetened. I think the sweetness covered up the beet taste, I could sense that it was there but just barely which was sad. Otherwise, service was okay. It was a bit awkward since it was really quiet when I arrived and the one staff wasn't at the counter. When she met me at the till, she didn't really say anything or make small talk (or even say hello really). But she did notice my struggle to fit myself at a small table and moved some flowers for me, plus it just seemed like she was working hard to keep busy by cleaning the place. I know I'm a coffee snob so that's more of where my review is coming from. I think if you're coming here for just a nice place to study/work plus order the regular drip coffee - it's a cute place overall.

Well it's a early morning for the Starbucks Red Cup Day Nov 13,2025…read more Yes I did manage to get a Red Cup. I must say being here at 4:30 am was a challenge. After what I heard about the Glass Teddy Glass fiasco. I thought I'd be here early. What I wouldn't do for my Granddaughter who always tugs at my heart. The staff were very friendly and service was great with hot Christmas drinks. Must say was my first time being the first in the Barista. After me was a mother with two young girls still in their PJ's wanting a Red Cup and very excited to get them!!! LOL Christmas decorations with soft music to get the customers in the mood. Plenty of parking.

I found service slow and disorganized relative to other Starbucks, however, so a review based on service alone would be two stars. There were 5 employees working on a quiet Sunday afternoon. No one was in line in the store, only one car in the drive-thru, yet I stood at the till for a few minutes until I was acknowledged, even with eye contact. At least 2 staff kept their heads down cleaning. There was a line-up three deep for the washroom. A lady came out to ask for toilet paper for her daughter. An employee acknowledged this, but then they just returned to whatever they were doing. 5 minutes later, the lady asked AGAIN for toilet paper, and an employee called back saying, "oh, she's getting it", gesturing to another employee who emerged from the back carrying a red bucket for floor washing. "Just one minute!" she responded. WTF? Why did they just carry on with their cleaning duties knowing customers were needing help? What part of 'the washroom is out of toilet paper and three people are waiting' doesn't tell you that your tap-wiping and floor mopping can wait, get the tp now!! Dummies. Plus the washroom should never be out of toilet paper, that's basic maintenance. I also noticed the garbages were full to overflowing. I've seen busy downtown Starbucks run by 3 people that were more organized than this sleepy lot. This store really needs to get it together.
