Dear God, When I pass through the pearly gates, please make sure this BLT is waiting for me, but with like, twice the hashbrowns. If you can make this happen during my century or so in purgatory, that would be most appreciated. Actually, do you think this sandwich would travel well? Could I Skip this home? Does Uber Eats deliver from Airdrie? These are all genuine thoughts as I demolished this sandwich this morning. After a truly mediocre dinner out the night before, a dear friend brought me to Jam's this morning. A few key points: 1. I know I mentioned the BLT but literally everything else that we ordered (Benny, GF Pancakes and Chicken) looked stellar. Food quality 10/10 2. Dude ferments his own black garlic and puts it in the hashbrowns. You can buy the garlic at their little grocery too. I would have done that but I'm not sure it would have been a good suitcase companion! Seems like the sausage might be home made too. 3. Service was super busy but we weren't in a hurry. This was definitely a sit, chat, chill, eat experience. 4. Totally unassuming outside, packed with charm inside. Great little ambience. 5. I am calling this destination brunch. Jam’s - a grilled cheese sandwich on a plate with a fork - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Airdrie, Alberta

Decided to stop for lunch after reading fairly good reviews. Unfortunately it was not. Small seating area with about a dozen tables was almost full. One very pleasant waitress and what appeared to be 3 kitchen staff. Our order of a BLT and 1/2 eggs bennie took almost an hour to arrive, we were just about to get up and leave. The blt had so much mayo it initially looked like an egg had been add to the sandwich because of the thick white strip on the outside of the bread. Once that was scraped off the bacon was delicious. The bennie was awful and sent back. The egg was cold, the hollandaise was cold, the avocado was brown and the hashbrown patty was almost black. The waitress kept trying to justify the condition of the food, I finally said I would not eat this at home so why would I eat it here? The bennie was removed from the bill however she acted like it was a huge favor not to pay for awful food. Even IF the food had been wonderful the prices were on the high side. Brad is the owner here and he does an incredible job! His cook (sorry I don't know his name) does Great! The servers have changed a bit as one didn't quite achieve their standards and now the whole team is on the ball. This place really is like being back at grandmas with fantastic local works of art in constant rotation; if you like it you can buy it! High Tea I believe is once a month Addictive homemade hot sauce and Jams. Games on the table for the kids (or adults) to play while you wait. You won't be waiting long though. Great little spot for breakfast! Friendly staff, great service, tasty fresh food. What's not to like!?

I started going to Jam's last fall, i found this place by accident. I live in north west Calgary, so it's only a 15 minute drive for me. My favourite meal to go out for is breakfast by far, and Jam's does not disappoint. They really know how to cook an egg to order. I would easily recommend Jam's to anyone willing to make the trip to Airdrie from Calgary. read more

I don't mind paying $16 for eggs Benny but these portions were small,I asked for extra hollandaise sauce that I did not receive and the hockey pucks they served and called hashbrowns were overcooked to the point they were not edible. read more

I was super excited to try this place out based on the reviews. We showed up, and had to join the queue as there was a full restaurant and a family being made to wait outside already. So we went and waited in the truck for our turn, which made me even more excited, but also frustrated that a place that has such a high review score, but unable to accommodate wait times When we went in, we were seated in the middle of the room, which is fine, except that we requested a booth (which was opened literally 10 seconds after we sat down). If they seat you here, be prepared to wear your sunglasses as the sun reflects off the windshields out front, right into your eyes if you're on the west side of the table. I am a big eater, I love trying all sorts of food, so while being at a new place, I decided I couldn't decide what to get, and got all 3 dishes that caught my eye, with the extra hashbrowns I had read so much about. We ordered coffee, and grapefruit juice, which was the best part of the whole meal, even though the server dumped our cream all over the table when she brought it. Nothing, was appealing to my palate once I started digging in. The combinations they have created do NOT belong together. Just go there, order their homemade jam, take it home with you and make your own meal. I recommend the mango/peach. read more

We stopped here on our way through to Calgary. One thing we noticed was that they were accepting people/groups that were not wearing their masks on entry or to and from the facilities. Had we known this we would have chosen somewhere else to enjoy our brunch. The food was good. I had the croque madame. It was tasty and the egg was nicely poached. They added my crispy potato side on top of the sandwich which I would have preferred on the side. The ham and sausage I ordered as a side was definitely a homemade patty and was nicely seasoned and a generous portion. My sandwich came with a side salad of which a third was unfortunately rotten. My friends country breakfast was filling and eggs were cooked perfectly. The biggest let down was the restaurants namesake: the jam, we let the server choose and received the crab apple, the jam came with a little extra something: a piece of stainless steel wire from a scrub brush. YIKES. The server did apologize but that was the last we heard of it. No manager, no nothing off our bill. Had one of us ingested that it could have been bad. I enjoyed the whimsy of the real tea cup and the brand of earl grey they use is quite bergamot forward which I love! Overall the food was good, but the other factors make it hard to decide if we will go back. read more

I'm not a normal breakfast eater. I've never been a fan of that meal of the day. But at jams, they've always been so awesome with accepting a weird order from me. I LOVE their bottomless hash browns, they are quite salty (I love them that way) if you don't like it, just smother them in ketchup or the amazing Hollandaise sauce. One of my other favourites is their salad with their own dressing. Absolutely a win. Finishing it off with 1-2 slices of their French toast. TO DIE FOR!!!! read more

Well priced, food was ready when promised, service was super friendly so no reason not to give these guys the full five stars. THIS IS WHY I SUPPORT LOCAL - My wife picked up an order today. It was my first time eating there/take-out. We ordered the burger and chips. It was the best burger I had in a long time. I usually doubt burgers from some restaurants because they are usually frozen patty's which are not 100% pure beef, contain fillers and don't taste good. This was definitely a homemade burger and delicious. The bun was awesome and is sourced locally. The chips were flat homemade chips, they were great. It also comes with all the fixings you would want. I decided to research their restaurant. JAM's is locally owned but they also source the products they use from local sources. I wish I would of dined at jam's earlier. I would definitely recommend. read more

Wow!!! This place was DELICIOUS!!! Went for breakfast and both the service and the food was over the top! They make their own jams and hot sauces and it was soooo yummy. I'm pretty sure they put pixie dust in the hashbrowns because they were so good! Not sure if I was so mesmerized by the hashbrowns or if it was real but the gf bread was the best I've ever had.... I had to double check with the server to make sure it wasn't too good to be true. This is a definite must go read more
