Was recommended by friends to check this place out…read more We arrived about 8:15 am we were met at the door by a friendly lady name Falicia that sat us in a booth and told us she will be our server as well. She served us coffee and then took our breakfast order. Which was Canadian Benedict, Spicy Chicken Breakfast Bowl and two cups of the best coffee we have tasted at a restaurant. Didn't take long and our breakfast was in front of us steaming hot. Falicia asked us if we were enjoying our choices of breakfast with our mouths full of delight we nodded yes!!! Felica took great care of us by keeping our coffees full and making sure we were happy with the food. In fact all the staff had smiles and friendly. This new Breakfast Place called mbc did not disappoint and we will be back. This Breakfast place is a hopping place on the weekend, you may want to call ahead to reserve a table and time. Not sure during the week, when we left at 9:15 am there were people waiting to be seated. -Inside was clean with a trendy vibe -Washrooms clean -plenty of parking

Dear God, When I…read morepass through the pearly gates, please make sure this BLT is waiting for me, but with like, twice the hashbrowns. If you can make this happen during my century or so in purgatory, that would be most appreciated. Actually, do you think this sandwich would travel well? Could I Skip this home? Does Uber Eats deliver from Airdrie? These are all genuine thoughts as I demolished this sandwich this morning. After a truly mediocre dinner out the night before, a dear friend brought me to Jam's this morning. A few key points: 1. I know I mentioned the BLT but literally everything else that we ordered (Benny, GF Pancakes and Chicken) looked stellar. Food quality 10/10 2. Dude ferments his own black garlic and puts it in the hashbrowns. You can buy the garlic at their little grocery too. I would have done that but I'm not sure it would have been a good suitcase companion! Seems like the sausage might be home made too. 3. Service was super busy but we weren't in a hurry. This was definitely a sit, chat, chill, eat experience. 4. Totally unassuming outside, packed with charm inside. Great little ambience. 5. I am calling this destination brunch. Make the trip, sit, eat, and enjoy. They were on top of the coffee pot too :) So, go to Jam's. **This post brought to you buy a "Yelp Elite" - thanks for serving up a stellar brunch, my man. I'll be back!**

I was so excited to try this place after hearing about it. The items on their menu not only looked…read morebut also sounded delicious. What a disappointment! The restaurant itself was pretty clean and modern inside. The service was mediocre although the restaurant was not very busy. Our waitress was great up until the food was delivered. She never once bothered to check in to see how the meal was or if we needed water refills. She only made an appearance once it was time to deliver the bill. Our food was NOT good. We ordered the hot honey chicken benny, a side of bacon, and black bean avocado benny. The potatoes were cold, bland, and hard which tells me that they were undercooked. We also asked for our eggs poached hard but only one of them came out hard. The rest were soft and extremely runny. The bacon was cold and didn't appear to be fresh. It looked like it had been sitting off to the side for some time. Hollandaise sauce had a weird flavour which I suspect was probably a powder mix or from a can. The only semi decent item on the plate was the chicken with the hot honey sauce. The avocado benny was just okay. As we were on the road and needed to get back we didn't want to sit around and wait for a new dish to be made. I also found that it made my stomach a bit upset for the remainder of the day. I had such high hopes however, I do not recommend this place. It looks like it's heavily franchised around Canada similar to Denny's, Ihop, and those other breakfast chains.

In the hour and fifteen minutes it took to get our meal, (the place was relatively empty) one couple left because the wait was too long, another almost left as they had already waited too long and had to leave, heard one complaint from another regular customer that was waiting also way too long and we were on our way out as well before told our order was just coming out....we won't be back with that kind of service and portions for the price. Also, the waffles were Eggo waffles and did not looked like they were even toasted. Truly saddened as we LOVED this place. Also, the google reviews are conveniently stacked since myself and a few others whom dined in and left a negative review. Super shady!!
