She was greeted by the cashier who touched the garment and immediately after used hand sanitizer. I am not sure if she is a germaphobe or just rude. She was told she couldn't return the item and was extremely rude. My daughter was very uncomfortable and not someone to cause trouble so she left. Her sister was in the car and immediately came in to her defense and to try to figure out why she was so rude and why the item couldn't be returned. I have purchased many items from your store and returning items for me weren't ever an issue. My daughter called me very upset stating that the rude employee said the item was worn and it was not. My older daughter was appalled and demanded to speak to a Manager, several young girls claimed they were managers and that the item couldn't be returned. It is my understanding the manager on duty was someone named Alexis. It is ridiculous how my girls were treated. Needless to say the item was left there and we received store credit. NO ONE I mean no one should ever be treated the way my daughter was. She left the store very upset and with just cause, so much so, that other shoppers came to her defense. I am writing to you so that you can train your staff better and your managers should not allow anyone who deals with customers be in the front and center of your store especially if they don't have manners and people skills. There is a way to handle customers. The times I have gone there with my children they are all very rude, young uneducated children who don't care whether you lose a customer or not. I know you do not want to have such immature people running your establishments. If I was there today this wouldn't have happened but that shouldn't be the case. Everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. She clearly doesn't like her job and honestly shouldn't be working there. I am very upset and she is very lucky I was far away or this would have ended very differently and she would be giving my daughter an apology. Please look into who you have at this location because they are ruining your brand. I will not be returning. Cecilia Alves A Concerned Customer

Went in looking for a dress for my daughter she found 2 that she liked but when it came down to ask about Alterations we were told that I would have to go to Elizabeth! Okay no problem! But then my mother in law asked about the pricing on the first dress she ignored my mother in law & processed to accuse my cousin of looking up the price online. My mother in law again asked the woman about the price & the woman's response was "Ask her she found the dress" referring to my cousin finding it on online. The woman was upset & her husband followed us as we walked out. We were all in shock with that woman's response!! So yes my cousin did find the dress after the fact for a cheaper price! The woman was trying to resell the dress for 2 times the price.. again don't waste your time. The energy from them two was horrible. So we ended up going to the store next door & omg they were so helpful & great energy! Go to ultimate fashion highly recommend! Great prices & peaceful shopping! Also great employees so helpful!!! They know how to treat the customers.

We purchased a bunch of things to the Grand total of close to 700-800$. My fiance got 3 sports jackets and we had the tailored. They said it would take 2 weeks. We came back on Thursday (1 day before they were supposed to be ready) on the off chance that they had them done. They weren't, which I semi understood. However, it amazes me that they left it to the last minutes. We couldn't come back Friday, so we are here now- one day after they should have been done. We are currently waiting for almost a half hour while the tailor finishes his jackets. I think this is pretty unprofessional. I'd toy day they will be done, have them finished. Unfortunately, I will never have things tailored here again if I can help it. But I will be buying clothes from K&G again!

Not only are there fewer registers to service the different departments but the recently added self checkout machines don't even work most of the time. There are also fewer price check stations, and the mens shoe dept is in desperate need of some TLC because boxes of shoes are mismatched and disorganized. The one saving grace for Macys that keeps me coming back is their Star Rewards program. When we came to our appt, they didn't have it in the system and they weren't very welcoming at that point but we showed that we did pay so they helped us and we ended up buying 4 pieces. I think their selection is one of the best in Edison but they could have overall been more warmer and more friendly is my only feedback.
