Great service and great selection of clothing for my young one. The RSQ clothing is amazing-specifically, the baby doll tops. (Quoted from the young one) We'll be back soon, she's hooked! The value is pretty good for the quality of clothing as well. Thank you! read more

I stopped by this Tilly store inside the Valencia Promenade to look at hats since my wife was as shopping. They had some nice hat selection, the same as the Simi Valley store I visited a couple days ago and some skateboard too. A worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him I was just browsing and he told me about their clearance section. I also checked out their sunglasses and watches too. This store had their backpack selections at the checkout. There also a lot of parking in the Promenade this place is in so you'll be able to find parking. read more

This store has been at this location my whole life! Been shopping here ever since I was a kid, and still do so! They carry a range of clothes for men, women, teenagers, and even some younger kids clothing items as well. The store is well lit, organized, clean, has plenty of dressing rooms to try on your items, and accessories. They have an assortment of backpacks, shoes, Vegas, jewelry, hats, and Knick knacks. The workers are usually very friendly and happy to help! Quality of clothes is pretty good, they will last you for years to come. Prices have gone up, but they have everywhere! They do make great bikinis as well. read more

Been coming here for 20 years it feels like. I wish they had a better selection of Obey for women but staff is always nice and helpful with ordering online. The sales are great and I love some of the brands being brought on. I bring my niece in all the time. This is her one and only go to here in SCV! read more

I always have a good experience at this store. Love being able to make a quick run to get a new pair of Chucks. Little things keep me coming back. read more

Went in with ny husband and it was empty. They had a lot of employees, but everyone was working, no one was standing around and/or gossiping and we were greeted several times by different people. In no way did they ignore, mistreat, or make us feel uncomfortable. We are part Hawaiian and very mixed with pretty much every race-- so not sure why there are reviews from people saying they are racist... we felt welcomed so idk. Maybe things have changed? Lots of good brands and prices are comparable to department stores and brand websites. Good place to go imho. read more

Everyone here was nice and very helpful to me finding me what I need, with amazing service as well. The selection is very diverse, and has everything needed. However, the value of each item vary from a low price to a moderate high. Even though everything looks amazing, remember that there's a chance you don't find what you need. read more

$35 for a tiny crop top tank which probably took $2 to make is quite disgusting. It all comes from China. Why so expensive? Same clothing you'd find at Ross TJ max and target. Now for the boys section. Why are the only options for pants slim fit or skinny fit? Seems like discrimination to normal sized teenagers who don't want to look like they're wearing their sisters pants. Grossly overpriced for mediocre and limited clothing. Now for the employees. They have what seems like 20 employees walking around yet when you check out it's one person and they take 20 mins to check one person. Only reason I was there was for my daughter who had a gift card. She can't stand that store cuz she can't get anything for $20. read more

The good: They have a lot of trendy teen clothes. You can find Dickies pants, sunglasses, bucket hats, bathing suits, phone cases, shoes, crop tops, off the shoulder tops, beanies, phone accessories, etc. So for females, it's odd numbered size jeans (3, 5, 7, 11, etc). That's how you can tell tween/teen clothes from adult women clothes. Adult women's pants are often in even numbers. They also have kids and teen trendy clothes. They carry a lot of clothing, accessories and shoes from surfer/skate brands that include: Vans, Santa Cruz, Hurley, Volcom, etc. They have a deal right now where you save $10 if you purchase $60 worth of stuff (with savings up to $100). The store is very large and organized. They have fitting rooms in the back that I believe are open at this time. There is plenty of parking in the lot because this place is located in a large plaza. They have lots of cool-looking graphic t-shirts. The bad: They have deals but it can be pretty pricey. I saw pants for $112 though they were on sale for $60+. I'd love this place if I were a teenager, but I probably wouldn't be able to afford half of the stuff. The interesting: They sell some alternative-looking face masks with designs like dog teeth, clown mouth, rainbow, zippered-mouth, camouflage, etc. read more

A large Tilly's store that carries the same stuff as all the others. As long as you don't expect to receive great customer service or a professional staff and you know that you'll be buying overpriced items to please your kids, you'll probably do okay. read more

Racist employees. Sara is the sales associate. We were waiting in line and they skipped us to help another customer. Manager didn't do anything about it. DO NOT GO HERE. The people in front of us were Latino and we Asian. She helped the white people ahead of us first. How is this okay in today's world. If you're a people of color please beware. Staff racial profiles. read more

Walked into the store to buy my 13 year old a new sweater. No one greeted us nor asked if we needed help. As I was looking in the boys section the associate in that particular area looked at me, gave me a dirty look and stayed silent, but when a white woman was in the area she was greeted and asked if she needed assistance. I guess the reviews were right when they said the staff at this location are RACIST!! Honestly, the staff doesn't even pay attention to you! I probably could have shoplifted a whole table of shirt's and no one would have even noticed! read more

Good staff and selection. if you need Hydro Flask they gave a good selection of colors and accessories.

Need overpriced clothes for your teenager then this is the place. Young 20 somethings with bad tattoos and piercings run the place but they can't answer any serious questions. I did buy a skate board here that I really like if that means anything. :p read more

Absolutely terrible service!! night staff is slow !! Waited 15 minutes to buy my daughter 1 pair of socks. 8 employees on the floor no one else came up to help until I was upset enough to ask for extra help ( not the way business should be conducted at all) sad selection should be called a trend followers store I'm more interested in my kids being trend setters not the same store that carried skate clothes and a skate shop not just overpriced complete decks and trendy reproduction shirts that completely shame the industry forcing us to shop online!! I know I'm only one in a million customers but sad we have to resort to this crap because trendy is the only way to teach your kids!! read more

Not shocked that they have a 3 star. This place is run by kids. One cashier??? Random associates floating about the store floor. Hi! I have cash in hand and would like to buy my husband a few shirts for a vacation during a break from work. May I please buy them so I can leave?? Help. Anyone!?! Buehler? read more

This store is awful for its inventory of everything except female clothing. Tilly's corporate website describes themselves as a surf and skate shop but this store didn't get the memo. Yes, the prices are ridiculously high but the real problem is a dearth of actual surf products, particularly for boys. They've dedicated a large footprint to highly visible candy products but they don't carry boys rash guards. The customer service is equally non-existent in every possible way and my visit yesterday will be my last. I had to return a pair of boys swim trunks that I knew would likely be too large but I purchased anyway because I was in a pinch. When the return transaction was complete, the salesgirl Aubrey wadded up the bag and handed it to me while telling me to throw it away in the garbage can outside. That single action on her part will prevent me from ever entering the store again. The bag is now a receptacle for trash in my car. read more

Buyer beware. I just got ripped off for over $500. The Tilly's corporate office would take zero responsibility nor would they work with store personal to find a mutually acceptable compromise. Here's what happened: I took my 2 young sons to their Valencia store to buy back to school clothes/shoes, etc. we spent over an hour picking out their stuff, in a super crowded store and they were really excited, over the moon to get everything they wanted. Couldn't wait to get it home to try on and wear to school next week. After waiting in line to check out for close to another half hour, we finally got rung up. But the boys were happy so it was worth the wait. Right as the charge went through their (Tilly's) computer hung up. The store clerk had to start all over and ring it up again. Ok, so, a bit frustrating, but it was what it was. So he rang us up a 2nd time, and charge goes through... Comes back as declined. I figure it was my bank and a security hold.., fixable. But no. I looked online and Tilly's had debited $502 from my account (pending) the first charge had hit my account and held the funds. As there was less than $400 left in the account the re-charge didn't go through. Then he tells me he can't complete the sale, and give me my merchandise, because on his end the original charge shows as it was cancelled when their computer glitched. So he calls corporate. They say I must now wait until the pending charge is cleared by my bank (this is a Friday afternoon, facing the weekend without this happening). But according to Tilly's that's not their problem it's "unfortunately" my banks issue. WHAT THE BLEEP???!!!! I asked why the point of sale store TILLYS issuing a charge to my account of over $500 and not being able to recall it just as quickly was not their fault. The corporate rep got extremely snarky and basically blew me off saying it was between me and the bank not them, nor could they give me the clothes without finalizing the sale by printing a receipt. So now my kids are crying, I am holding up the line and super embarrassed as to onlookers it must look like I couldn't afford the clothes, and I am out the clothes and my $500!!!! Absolutely disgusted!!! So we had to leave, my kids are going mental, and I don't even have any assurance the charge will eventually drop off. No recourse at all! For all I know it could still be there next week and we're still out the clothes! I am more disgusted at their unwillingness to work with us... Even the on site store clerk suggested they take an old fashioned imprint of my card and run it through once the original charge had cleared. I had ID, live in the town, shopped there before, and they had my card info. But corporate refused and offered no other compromise. So right now they literally have my money and my merchandise and my kids are hysterical. Overall the worst shopping experience of my life. Utterly and totally appalled. Never again. Stay away!!! read more

Always plenty of service around to help out and a great selection for my daughter and oldest son. Seems to be a regular stop over the years for back to school stuff. Sign up for the email/mail list, frequently will you get discount coupons so it's worth the so called junk mail. Just a little disappointed because they stopped carrying shoes for my younger boys and it was nice to get them all shoes in one place. Overall good quality clothing and apparel, just have to wait for sales and use the discounts to your advantage, otherwise I would consider it a bit over priced. read more

It's my go to place when I'm looking for something casual, beach-y to wear and they have a wide range of brands to choose from. The prices are good and there are always coupons coming in the mail. There is always someone there to greet you and they are always there to assist you when you need help. However, on the phone, they (by that I mean one person) aren't as polite. I call up around 9:30 to check what time they open. Employee: Thank for calling Tilly's. This is "Willy". (Not the real name but it rhymes with it.) Me: Hi! I just wanted to see what time you open today. "Willy": Ten o'clock. Me: Tha... "Willy": (click) Well then. read more

I'm not a skater or a surfer. Nor do I play one on TV. But I do likes me a good pair of Vans every once in a while. This store caters to a younger crowd focusing mainly on the clothing lines Volcom and Roxy and the like. I do however, tend to find some pretty cute things in there whenever I go. The store is always clean and well organized. The prices are reasonable and the sales staff is always around to offer help. They also sell shoes, bags, jewelry and accessories. read more

I read through the reviews to see why it wasn't 5 stars. I suggest you do the same and make your own judgement. I read a couple reviews about people not having enough money in their bank account, or someone's child not getting revenue flow information for his elementary school project. The customer service has always been good for me and the managers work with me to make sure I'm happy with everything I buy! If something I buy doesn't fit the way it should they work with me to find a more perfect size, 0 questions asked. They also have an amazing selection of clothing options from sweet brands. read more

I am so annoyed. We went to tilly's and I had a shirt a dress and shoes in my hand to try on. No one even bothered to ask if I need helped, I even asked the girl who by the way was dressed so inappropriate if I could take a pair of shoes into the dressing room to try on with the outfit... she said yeah but didnt offer to get me a room. Then i waited for 10 minutes for someone to let me in a dressing room and no one came so I put everything back and as I was walking out, they asked if I needed help. So disappointed with the customer service here. read more

VERY VERY disappointed with Tilly's in Valencia as well as their corporate office and thought I would use the power of social media to share. Tristan, my 6th grader, was assigned a project today. To make math more fun and exciting, he was told to find out how many Vans shoes, on average a month, are sold at Tilly's, SCV. We called Tilly's in Valencia and they touted some rule about corporate not allowing them to divulge that information and to call corporate. We called corporate in Irvine, CA and they told us to contact the local store as they don't have access to that info. I asked if they would give permission to the local store to give my son an average number and Victoria in Store Operations tried to make something happen, but told me that because they are a publicly traded company, they can't give that info out. REALLY?????? If you are publicly traded, then why hide this information...and from a 6th grader no less. I'm sure I could look it up. He didn't even need their exact numbers for the year. He needed an average....was it not a difficult question. Was it more like 10 pairs or 2000 pairs? Sheesh....way to be a part of Awesome Town and help out our kids. I will be buying VANS from anywhere other than Tilly's from now on. Please share this with your friends. I know TILLY's is very popular with our kids, but maybe a few sales losses this year will be karma enough. Thank you soooo much. Now, wanna guess how many different styles they have????? Valencia told me 40. read more

I brought my coupon couple days late and the manager did not allow me to use it. Customer service is pretty bad

Went in for my first time and my daughter loved the selection . Service was great , I had help in each department I went to.

WORST. EVER. This place is more annoying every time I go in. I understand that Loss Prevention is very important in retail and it's good to watch customers and tend to them when needed but WOW!!! I do not need to be harassed the entire time I'm shopping. Ask me one time if I need help or if am looking for something then go away!!! It's such a huge turn off for a customer who is just trying to shop and browse. This is ridiculous get it together I'll be sticking to online ONLY moving forward! I don't need to be baby sat by bratty teenagers and rude managers. read more

Tilly's is a pretty cool shop. The prices are little high for my taste, but if you catch them on a sale day you will find a great deal. They have a great selection of swimsuits, so if you're in need of one, this is a pretty good place to check. Parking is easy to find here too. read more

Tilly's is my go-to place for new clothes. They have really good sales and there is something for just about any age range (senior citizens and babies have to shop somewhere else). Check their clearance rack, because sometimes those go on sale too. With 50% off of clearance items, I got my son bitchen Levi's for $10 and a Fox Racing shirt for $7.50. read more

I had a such a bad experience at this store. I tried getting assistance from the manager Cinnamon and she was extremely obnoxious and very rude with the way she was talked to me and I noticed with other customers as well. I left without purchasing any of the product I intended on buying. If you go here make sure you know what you want and make it an in and out visit if you want to be satisfied with your experience. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!! Visited the store this past Saturday 09/17/18 to purchase Vans for my daughter. After a few minutes waiting for assistance a girl representative approach us and asked if we needed assistance. My daughter asked for a particular size and the Rep went to look for the shoes, she came back with the box and stating that she only had the display shoes in that size. I said ok we would like to purchased them. I asked for a Discount since it was display and obviously people try them on so that means it's not a new pair! She seemed annoyed by my request and stated that the shoes weren't damage but I did tell her you can see a big difference from the display shoe and the one inside the box. She said she can only give me 10% and she added "and it will be final sale you can't return them" wow ok! When I was at the cashier I asked the rep to ask for Erynn to come over as Erynn asked me to do when I was ready to pay. Erynn came over and still with a very unprofessional attitude. As I was speaking with my son I can see from the corner of my eye Erynn making gestures to another employee standing next to her obviously not speaking loud but clearly talking about me I turn and look at them and she stop. I'm Latina Im fluently bilingual and I also can read body language. This made me feel very uncomfortable and it was very Unprofessional from their part. Erynn left never said anything not even thank you or have a nice day....nothing! I asked the cashier what was Erynn title and when she said she's the store Manager I couldn't believe it.... what a way to manage your store Erynn... never again shopping at that store. read more

I mean this place isn't bad, but sometimes the service isn't all so great. I'll walk in and look around and when that 10 mins has passed, still no employee. But when you do finally find someone who will speak to you they push you on buying the whole damn store. I mean bro I'm only here to buy a shirt and a hat, not four pairs of Beats headphones, ten pairs of Levi's and 50 pairs of shoes. I just feel like I could get a better deal and a wider selection at the mall. read more

They have a great selection of clothes and their prices a fair. Their employees are also very helpful.

As far as retail stores go in this economy, I just want to say thanks for all the personal attention I get when I shop at Tillys. The employees are always so helpful, the store is clean and the stuff they carry is great! Not sure that I can always affort to go there, but its a fun place to hang read more

This place could really use some customer service training. It feels like they don't care about the customer at all, but what they don't think about is that in any kind of business customers always come first. If you are willing to tough it up and deal with poor customer service then shopping here is possible. They have great styles and great prices. 2 out of three isn't bad I guess. I was there about a month ago, got great items and all for under $100. read more

I usually go to this location and the service is just okay but my daughter likes the clothes. Yesterday had several issues with a female Manager. First she was having a conversation with another worker in the back by the fitting rooms about the other girl "coming out" in front of me and my young children. Don't care about your sexual preferences and why would you have that type of conversation on the sales floor. Second, when there was confusion on pricing, the same Manager spoke to me like I was stupid. Not cool and I spend WAY to much money at this store. I think I will start taking my daughters somewhere else to shop and that has better savings and coupons for spending what I do there. read more

I like this Tilly's but they apparently don't open on time. I was waiting there for 10 minutes after the sigh says they open and the doors were still locked.
