Robert has an extensive in-depth understanding about vehicles and the auto industry. He looked around and found the very best deals for me! Having lived in Los Lunas most of his life he knows everyone and whom to trust when he needs other local services to compliment his work. I needed some welding; upholstery work and a few parts from the camper stores besides a new transmission and he knew just where to go. Robert restored my old 1992 old Dodge Camper Van back up to speed. It needed about 40 different little adjustments made to make it more handicapped accessible for me and is now ready to traverse the U.S. and Mexico again. I drive all the way from my home in the East Mountains of Tijeras, NM to Los Lunas, NM because he is such a trustworthy mechanic and so much better than any I have found in Albuquerque to fix Dodges. He fixed up my Honda also. He found things the other dealers were in too much of a hurry to test. Robert laughs easily; is kind; peaceful and so easy to be around and will take the time to really explain things to me on the phone (as a woman he is very respectful to my limited understanding). Robert sincerely cares that you walk away completely satisfied with his work. He is a bit of a perfectionist so be patient if he takes the time to treat you and your vehicle with the best of care. I set up a service appointment 4 days in advance for an electrical issue with my Ram truck. I drove…read more250 miles and had to get a motel room for two nights to accommodate our dogs. I arrived early and explained what my issue was and was told they'd stay in touch. At 3 pm I texted and received o response. I called and was told it wasn't in yet. At 5 pm I walked over and the truck was sitting with a service tag but was informed they'd stay couldn't work on it today and Could I leave it overnight. Since that would mean an additional motel stay I declined and took my truck. I communicate and they knew they weren't going to get to it when I walked in the door. The lack of transparency and the lack of respect for the time and effort I put into getting there means that I would never recommend this dealer to anyone. Terrible customer service
