But they charge me even less than their original estimate. I came in for a steering issue. Needing a new lower control arm and a tire rod. I will probably be taking all of my future business to them as well.

TMJ Mobile Auto Repair Review Being new to Santa Fe for only…read more30 days and commuting to Los Alamos for work, I found myself in a tough situation when my Mercedes CLS 550 started having issues. Coming from Delaware, I wasn't familiar with local repair shops, so my first call was to the Mercedes dealership. Unfortunately, they told me they were booked two weeks out, which simply wasn't an option since I needed reliable transportation to get to work every day. I'm a big believer in Yelp reviews, especially when it comes to auto repair. Restaurants are one thing because everyone's tastes are different, but when it comes to vehicle repairs, I look for one thing: Did they diagnose the problem and get the customer back on the road? After submitting my information on Yelp, three companies reached out. After reading the reviews, TMJ Mobile Auto stood out, and they absolutely lived up to their reputation. Believe it or not, Jeremy drove all the way from Albuquerque, about an hour away, that very evening. Even though it was dark and the diagnostic scan didn't immediately pinpoint the problem, he took his time and approached it like a detective. The diagnostics gave him clues, and he methodically tracked down the issue. Since I had experienced a similar problem on my other E500 Mercedes in the past, I had a good idea of what the repair should cost. TMJ Mobile Auto could have easily taken advantage of the fact that I was new to the area and desperate to get my car fixed. Instead, their focus was on getting me safely back on the road and able to commute to work. They provided a very fair estimate, ordered the part, and scheduled the installation as soon as it arrived. Here's where they went above and beyond excellent customer service. My car was technically still drivable, but I didn't feel comfortable risking the commute to Los Alamos. I had been taking the bus from the Santa Fe transit station, so Jeremy offered to complete the repair there, while I was at work. I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive. Leaving my $60K car in a parking lot at 4:00 a.m. with the keys inside felt risky, and part of me worried it might somehow be too good to be true. But I had developed a good feeling about Tom and Jeremy, so I decided to trust them and leave it in God's hands. When I returned after work, my car was repaired, running perfectly, and ready to go. From this point forward, TMJ Mobile Auto will be my go-to mechanics. We've already discussed some preventative maintenance work, and I won't hesitate to use them again. If you're looking for honest, reliable mechanics who truly care about their customers, trust these guys. Their word is their bond, and their work speaks for itself. Highly recommended.

Do not take your car here if you care about your safety or your vehicle…read more They had my car for 6 months. Every time I asked for an update, I was told something different, either another part needed replacing or they were still waiting on one. When I finally got the car back, it still wasn't right. I've now had to bring it to another shop just to fix what they messed up. The alignment was fine for most of that time until Sanchez replaced the lower control arm. After that, the tie rod was stripped and had to be replaced. When I finally got a real alignment done, the tech had to tighten every bolt Sanchez touched. He actually pulled me aside thinking I had tried to do the suspension work myself. Honestly, I wish I had. Now I've found out they installed the wrong size strut altogether. At this point, I really just wish they had said they weren't qualified to do the job instead of risking my safety and wasting half a year of my time.
