Even though this was a smaller job compared to the larger projects Chris normally handles, he still showed up on time, kept his promise on the scheduled day, and treated the work with care and professionalism. The tile repair looks great, and he even reinstalled the toilet as a bonus, which I really appreciated. He also fixed a crack in our kitchen granite, and the result is amazing. The filled crack is barely visible now, and the granite looks almost brand new. I would absolutely use Chris again and would gladly recommend him to friends and neighbors. He was able to perform all the work in one day and my wife and I could not be happier with the results. The tile and grout come out perfect. I recommend Chris for any tile (big or small) work. We were afraid to work with contractors since we had such bad experiences since moving in October. I am thankful that Ruhi & his team treated our home with respect. When I needed help with design, Fatima was there to help me pick out tile combinations and countertops. They were easy to communicate with and accommodated any issues (if any ever showed up) with grace. Thank you for taking care of our house and creating a beautiful bathroom. ** Expert shower tile repair by Lorenzo**…read more I can't say enough good things about Lorenzo at Molto Bello Tile and Marble. A tile in my bathroom shower broke, and at first I thought about fixing it myself. I'm so glad I hired a professional instead. Lorenzo kept me informed the whole way. He explained what needed to be done, set clear expectations, and was easy to reach. He made the whole thing stress-free. His work was better than I expected. The repair looks seamless, and you'd never know a tile had been broken. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft. The price was what I expected, with no surprises. If you need tile repair or tile work of any kind, I highly recommend Lorenzo and Molto Bello Tile and Marble. Five stars.

We encountered unexpected water damage on the floor of the master bathroom and along the walls of shower and tub areas, which required remediation from a separate restoration company. We had some challenges which required Lorenzo to stop and start throughout the course of the project including stoppages stipulated by our tenants due to their vacations and visitors throughout the summer. As myself acting as the general contractor and dealing with all of the trades and the schedules of when they perform their work, Lorenzo was perfect to work with as he was entirely flexible with us on dealing with all of that. Lorenzo is absolutely committed to doing a professional job well done with an amazing attention to detail to exact out perfection. I can attest that many other contractors would have just said "that's good enough" and moved on with the task, but not with Lorenzo, as he places a lot of value in making sure things are done correctly, to building code, and to make everything aesthetically pleasing. Also, he went out of his way at every significant stop and start to make sure the existing carpets and flooring and new tub and shower areas were protected and re-covered so they don't get scratched or damaged by making sure they were protected with ram board, protective plastic, and other coverings. Lorenzo and his brother are extremely conscientious about their work and the results prove that out as we ended up with an amazing bathroom remodel that even wowed city inspectors! He took time with us to arrange the tiles so that the veining on the 2'x4' tiles would match up to make them look natural and not disjointed. Although I have acted as a general contractor with other projects, this was my first master bathroom remodel and I had a lot to learn. Lorenzo was patient and instrumental in providing advice and recommendations to all of my tons of questions and concerns and subsequent changes, and making him an absolute joy to work with. I can't say enough about Lorenzo and his work as I am beyond extremely satisfied with the work he has done, not only from an aesthetical perspective, but also from a technical construction perspective as I know the job was done perfectly to last, utilizing the proper construction techniques. I saw his work almost on a daily basis as I was onsite working on other things on the property as well in the bathroom while he was working away. He possesses a very strong work ethic, is extremely honest, was thoroughly committed to the project, utilized proper construction methods without cutting corners, providing numerous recommendations, and has an easy demeanor to work with, coupled with providing a very fair estimate/bid considering the complexity of the project, which makes me highly recommend Molto Bello Tile and Marble without any reservation, as your go to tile and renovation contractor. As stated, I highly recommend them and confidently state you will NOT be disappointed with their work. I will be hiring them again on future projects.

Joe did an excellent job -- A+ -- on my shower replacement and I am very pleased with the result…read more Joe came to estimate the work, providing good suggestions (enlarging size, adding bench, angled glass enclosure). He gave me a reasonable price with no pressure. The job involved removing the old tub/shower, replacing the plumbing, building a bench, wet-mopping, adding cement-backing, installing porcelain tile, replacing the flooring, adding drywall (including re-stucco-ing, and repainting). Each team - demolition, plumber, framing, wet-mop, tiler, dry-wall/painter - was professional, competent, hardworking, and clean-minded. Keep in mind that this is not a one day job --- mine took 1 1/2 weeks. Joe was always responsive to my calls and kept the job moving. Also, his quote does not include the glass enclosure. Joe sent me a good glass enclosure contractor and he added an additional week - 1 day for estimate, 5 days to cut/temper the glass, and one day to install. I enjoyed watching them work. To get the job done right, there is a lot of expertise involved. My wife was so grateful that she always provided snacks and water for the crews.

I strongly dislike giving reviews lower than three stars. Unfortunately, I cannot give more than…read moretwo stars here, and I should only give 1 star-. My experience with Joe, the manager who handled most of the communication, was terrible. In my opinion, he did not have enough hands-on construction knowledge to properly manage a remodel. He seemed to rely almost entirely on what his employees or subcontractors told him, even when they were wrong. When I pointed out mistakes, he often pushed back, blamed me, or tried to make me pay to fix issues caused by his own crew. A few examples: -We specified grout colors, and they used them on the wrong tiles and areas. -The wrong sinks were ordered. -The wrong faucets were ordered. -The wrong tiles were ordered. -The wrong counter top was delivered. -Kitchen cabinets were faulty and installed improperly. -They promised one type of flooring, then delivered something completely different, including a different color, and installed it incorrectly. -They tried to conceal faulty piping inside my walls. Had I not walked in unexpectedly, I would never have seen it. -They poured a foundation for a small extension without making it deep enough or installing a moisture barrier. We now have tiles showing signs of moisture damage. -They did not repaint several rooms. They cleaned the walls and then claimed the rooms had been painted. -The electrician made serious mistakes, including issues that almost caused a fire in my house. The overall pattern was simple: -They made mistakes. -I had to catch the mistakes. -Joe often tried to shift blame. -They tried to charge me to fix problems they caused. I also felt like Joe tried to take advantage of me financially. He handwrote the quote and invoice, and I trusted that the items we discussed would be handled as agreed. Later, he tried to back away from what had been discussed and claimed certain items were not included. Only after I involved the owner did Joe back down and admit he had made a mistake. There were also major management and communication problems: -Joe is not the contractor who owns the business. -From what I saw, there was no professional contractor consistently supervising the crew. -Joe would come by occasionally, look around, speak with the crew, and leave. -The crew often seemed confused about what needed to be done. -Communication between Joe and the crew appeared poor, which caused constant errors. The crew was also a revolving door. Different people came on different days. One person would start the flooring, and others would come later to finish it. The same thing happened with tile, plumbing, electrical work, and other parts of the project. Each time someone new showed up, they seemed to have little or no idea what had been agreed to. Joe also asked personal questions that made us uncomfortable, including: -Where are you from? -What do you do? -Can I see your cars? -"Wow, you went to that restaurant? It's very expensive." -"This was an expensive house. You must be very rich." That felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. Overall, this was a nightmare experience. Never again. The only reason I am giving two stars is that they finished quickly, and by the end, I was simply relieved to have them gone.

He provided me with a referral to another company that I was able to choose my countertop from, and was able to purchase a marble half slab at a very reasonable price. While I had a very clear vision of how I wanted my bathroom to look, he was able to brainstorm with me and gave me good input whenever I asked. He is a true professional! I was especially impressed with how clean and polite his crew was. At the end of every day they cleaned up and left the materials organized and out of the way. They hauled away all trash and boxes left over. When they worked outside cutting tile, etc, they hosed down the walkway and never trampled any of my landscaping.
