Don't even know where to start. Went to floor and decor in Avon, first mistake, and picked out some good looking tile for my foyer, mudroom, and kitchen area. Tile got delivered and sat in my garage until my Installer arrived to facilitate the installation. After his guys started opening the boxes of tile no lie 30% were broken or deemed not appropriate to install. Contacted floor and decor and informed them of the situation. It was determined per my installer that of the 420 sqft I ordered 120sqft was unusable more tiles were ordered with the same item number were ordered and delivered. The tiles delivered were the "same" tiles but not the same "lot" of tile .... research it it's a big deal per my installer. Mind you now we are in week 3 of my post tile delivery nightmare. I was informed that it would take another week to get another complete order of my tile. After hearing that I canceled my order this is now holding up my contractor's plumber, cabinet guy, electrction etc you get the deal. Went into tile world and met Eddie "winning" informed him of my current situation and he was more than happy to help. I was able to purchase similar looking tile that would arrive in 3 days after placing the order. Couldn't be happier with the service at tile world all of the stock came intact with no issues. It took me 6 weeks to try to get a complete order from the other store. As with most things like my father told me you get what you pay for read more

We were in the midst of our kitchen renovation. It was time to choose the tile backsplash. We started out at two larger stores in Avon (Floor & Decor and The Tile Shop) and the experience at both places was such a difficult, dissatisfying process. There were many trips back and forth buying, then bringing back the samples that just weren't working with the colors in my kitchen- we felt like we were getting nowhere-we were so frustrated and stressed out from this! Then one night, while driving down Rt 18 in Weymouth, we spotted the very wonderful Tile World Design Center, so we went in to check it out. Although it was near closing time, Eddie was so friendly and extremely helpful and acted like he had all the time in the world. He looked at the colors of our kitchen we brought with us and actively listened to the vision we had for the backsplash. Next thing we knew, we had two samples in our arms (that we did not have to pay for!) and one of them seemed it was going to work- at last!! We also had to choose a grout color-Eddie was spot on with assisting us as well on that aspect. This was one fantastic experience- we are so happy with what we chose- it is just perfect! We honestly can't thank you enough Eddie and Tile World Design Center, for coming through big-time for us!! We highly recommend!! read more

It's always a challenge trying to pick out the "right" tile and envisioning it in your home. There is so much choose from. Where to begin? What colors work best? Are the tiles too big? Are they too small? What looks best in a small bathroom? What about the back splash in the kitchen. Do we select a gloss finish or a more textured tile? All of these questions (and more...) were asked of Eddie at Tile World who guided us through the process, making recommendations, answering our concerns and helping us make the "right" tile selections. He was a friendly, calm, patient, and a true professional as were the rest of the Tile World employees - especially, Mark, the installer. Mark knew we were looking forward to moving into our new home a.s.a.p. but we needed to have our bathroom and kitchen tiling finished first. Although Mark was busy handling other tiling jobs, he volunteered to work on a Sunday and finish our home. He did a beautiful job! It became crystal clear to my wife and I that the Tile World organization was committed to true customer service. We absolutely made the right choice with Tile World. read more

This past summer we did a full kitchen add on and a master with master bath. Working with Tile World was a dream! Having Ed there to advise and narrow down the millions of choices as well as make it so simple to organize install made for a seamless process!!!! We we so concerned about the transition from hard wood to tile and Rappoli Tile (installer) assured us that it would work AND IT DOES! Our kitchen looks amazing I can't tell you how many compliments we have received on the tile. We are working with Ed again and soon will have him coordinate our master bath installation! I would highly recommend this company! read more

My dad, a carpenter who does finish work and is often designing new bathrooms and kitchens has been working with Eddie for years and years. It was my dad who introduced me to Eddie at Tile World a few years back when I bought my first condo and had a small budget, Eddie was super friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable. He was great to work with and knows exactly what direction to point you in based on your style and budget. He was so great that when my husband and I bought our first house we had no hesitation to go back to Eddie's store to buy from him again. I would highly recommend Eddie and Tile World. read more

Eddie the owner is very knowledgeable about all his products and enthusiastically showed us different types of floor tiles. He educated us and made recommendations so that we could make the right decision on floor tiles for a bathroom remodel. the whole process was so much easier than it could have been. the tiles came into the shop exactly when Eddie told us they would be there and Eddie put everything in our car when we came to pick them up. Tile World is a one stop shop for flooring. We will be going back again this week to pick out tiles for another project. Highly recommend. read more

Eddie was incredibly helpful with our kitchen floor and backsplash tile and countertop purchase and installation. When our contractor accidentally dropped and broke an entire box of tile, he worked with the manufacturer to get a replacement quickly. When the counter installer misjudged our counter size and quoted just one slab (when we really needed two), he worked with them to correct the issue and ensure the quote was honored. He was patient and offered great suggestions. We really had a great experience with tile world. Huge selection; reasonable prices; great service. read more

We had an incredible experience with Tile World, especially thanks to Eddie's expertise. With our older home, and oil-rubbed bronze accents, we knew we wanted a brown-toned, textured tile with a bright white tile to match our new kitchen. But our vision was proving difficult. Eddie guided us through the options and helped us find the perfect pairing. Now, our kitchen has been transformed! We are thrilled with this classy design that perfectly ties in with the character of our 1940s home. Thank you, Eddie and Tile World, for helping us achieve this timeless style! read more

I had a great experience at Tile World. In fact, this was my 3rd purchase there for 3 home improvements over the past 5 years. Selection is wide and varied and Eddie was very helpful with selecting tiles and the necessary additional items, corner shelves for shower, bull-nose tiles, separators, grout, cement etc. to complete the job from start to finish. I'm not a contractor, I was the "go between" with Tile World and my contractor. My experiences have been the best for each of the 3 home improvements and I'm pleased to offer a positive recommendation. read more

Eddie & Tile World have been truly wonderful to work with. My husband & I had a house fire in 2019 and we turned to them for many of our rebuild needs. Eddie is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Timely in responding to calls/emails & ordering materials. We always have a positive experience no matter how many times we go back to relook at a tile or countertop sample. We have greatly appreciated having such a trustworthy and honest resource during a difficult time. I would recommend TW to any family or friend! read more

We renovated our bathroom using Tile World and their installation department. Eddie was super helpful (and patient) in helping me pick out the new floor and wall tile, even allowing me to take samples home to try out. When the old floor was taken up, there was a lot of pre-existing damage that needed to be addressed. Steve (the installer) did a great job with it. We are super happy with how nice the bathroom now looks. Highly recommend Tile World. read more

My wife and I put in all new floors from Tile World. The staff was fantastic and their prices were very competitive. What made them different was their expert advice on products and installation. They also provided exceptional customer service that you just don't see at the big box stores. Tile World is great. Eddie bailed us out when another tile manufacturer kept delaying the delivery of our tile. Eddie had a number of choices that would deliver next day. We found one we liked and true to his word it was delivered next day. The tile was beautiful. Even our contractor was impressed with the quality. We will buy tile from Tile World and Eddie for any future projects we have. Great job! read more

To me, the key to Tile World's success is Eddie. He is so consistently happy and upbeat that it permeates every interaction with him. He does what he says he will do (seems like a rarity lately) and his folks who install are on time, polite and incredibly competent. What more you can ask for? Great selection, great prices and great people! The holy trinity of business! Tell Eddie I said hello! read more
