An exterior door with two side lights, fiberglass with limited options was about $5,000 Our carpenter suggested that we swing by Cape Cod lumber. We talked with Eric. He knew what he was talking about. He has decades of experience and asked us what our "best case" door was. We gave him the particulars, he walked us through all of the options, until we had exactly what we wanted. Best part, it came in $1,100 less than HD & L. I thought it was going to be a higher price than the others. Highly recommend CCL & Eric, don't expect to pay more than the big stores. CCL has a great show room and vast experience with their team.

Their designer (Tong) helped us with a plan to combine two small awkward rooms into one bathroom and worked within our budget to give us a much more functional space. Work started as scheduled with Steven as our PM and he kept us well informed along the way, handling any issues as they arose and minimizing disruption to the rest of the house. The NKB carpenters (Michael and Jorel) were excellent and kept things moving onsite along with some great subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and tile that Steven aggressively coordinated to ensure the project progressed quickly. The end result was better than we hoped and we only had one small change order for a late change we made to the plan. We truly appreciated the professionalism and flexibility of the whole NKB team from the design process with Tong through final payment with Adelya in Finance. They kept us on schedule and on budget with no surprises. We now have a beautiful bathroom that we will enjoy for years to come!

Chris is a perfectionist, and we're not. As first-time homebuyers, he's had to hold our hand a bit through the renovations we've done, but he's been very patient with us. I never struggle to reach Chris, and he shows up when he's scheduled to. As a mother of small children, one of the best parts of having Chris and his workers in our home, is that I don't feel I have to shield my children from them. His guys are friendly, polite, and conscientious of small kids around. The ones who have smoked only do so outside and then clean up their butts before they leave. So far, Chris has completely remodeled our kitchen, living room, and bedroom and built us a great deck. He's also sent over one of his guys in a rainstorm to fix a leaking chimney! All of the other workers he's referred to us have been fabulous, too! If you're looking for a great contractor who only works on one job at a time, finishes on time and on budget, Chris is your guy! At 4:50 (since they close at 5) I called and had to threaten to cancel the credit card payment. Vanity Showed up at 5:15. Later that night I emailed them back that the vanity was installed and when can they come to template the top. It's two days later and two emails later (another one this morning) and a phone call and they'll get back to me. Bill Shea's just gave me a quote for the same price for the same counter top, they'll come next week to template and should have the countertop ready for install in 10 days from that.
