He was also kind enough to show me the cutting room floor where they take raw stone and cut it to specs. So far we've used them for 3 orders and all but one were perfect the first go round. We tried to use the first order but, because of the stones natural variances in densities, the sandblasting they did to give it a rough face didn't look too good- had a lot of streaks and ridges. They did correct the problem quickly by replacing the pieces FOC and getting us a way better looking end product. After that hiccup we ordered again and again, each time they were quick and efficient, very customer oriented and as cautious as they could be during this situation. While this epidemic is tragic and all, I'm thankful we found these guys still operating and providing what is an essential service to our company.

The way this company deals with situations is very unprofessional and very frustrating due to lack of communication. Trying to get to the owner is like trying to win the lottery !! On Saturday morning I tried to go in at the Wilmette location and the manager Omar was there and mind you it was 6:45 am and they are open at 6 am this guy had the door locked when I tried to go in and ask for a business card and questioned me to let me in . I asked for Gary information and said they weren't allowed to give it out ! I mean he's the owner and dealing with situations I would have thought the owner was the best option to speak to about a manner of discrimination termination. They work you and then get rid of you ! Do not work or do any business with them horrible business!! And the owner needs to pay more attention to what's really going on at the Wilmette location asap!!! The manager Omar needs to have more respect calling people names while working and treating his employees like as if they mean nothing . The front desk person moe is rude and very disrespectful as well he has no respect for people. James the other employee is still working there after the fact he told the manager Omar he will slap the mess out of him in front of his face and he sent him home but didn't obey his commands. Mind you he's white !!! And my husband is of color . Then they called the cops on us when we tried to go get a paper of why he got terminated as if we were going to retaliate!! Already labeling and discriminating someone . My husband was a hard working man and was very grateful to have the opportunity to work here . Until we actually found out how this company is ran. May god be with you all he will always win and he will expose the dirty work behind it.

Wound up stumbling into Fox Home Center while checking out different places. Honestly, Fox Home Center is probably not the best place to go if you are looking for the cheapest option. But, if you want quality items and, at least from what I experienced, a near "one stop shop" with good customer service, I would recommend Fox Home Center. Mark was great to work with. He answered all my questions and was honest with me. The vanity I originally wanted, he explained, would not arrive in time for our project. So, he helped me find a great alternative. We wound up buying a "display" mirror for a significant discount and we love it. Mark made sure the display was not damaged (a real challenge as this was a big mirror) with shipping. Something that made me trust Mark- to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off, on my own, I went to manufacturer (Moen) website. Turns out Mark was offering me the Moen "sale price", the lowest price that Moen would give if you worked with them directly. That made me feel pretty good, as I had not even asked Mark to give me a discount. When I asked to ship all this stuff to my house, there was no problem or fee. He kept it all together for me at the store as each time arrived, making it easy to keep it together. All items arrived and installed as described. To really top off the good customer service - the Toliet we ordered wouldn't fit (not Mark fault, because Contractors didn't measure until end of project). But, Mark took the Toliet back without hesitation and gave me a full refund. I plan on purchasing from them again in the future, and I am happy to support a local business.

The roof on my house was installed by the previous owner and was installed in 2014. However, over…read morethe last two years on three separate occasions I have had shingles blow off the roof. This last time it happened, a bunch of shingles also formed a "steeple" shape. Hamstra has fixed my problem each time for very reasonable prices. They even came out fast enough to save the "steeple" shingles so I didn't have to buy more. They are honest professionals - I had them check my roof for leaks and they found no leaks. I appreciate them only charging me to fix what they need to fix. They have earned my loyalty and I will continue to utilize their services. I highly recommend Hamstra!
