Great selection! I went in to look for a shower bench piece. Unfortunately there weren't many quartz options to choose from in-store but the rep did encourage me to visit their warehouse. He was even kind enough to call them to make sure they had what I was looking for so i didn't drive out of my way for no reason. He also showed me a ready-made glassos piece that could work however it was too small. For a small shop, they have lots to see so something to keep in mind if you're renovating. Bonus: they open at 8 but the rep was kind enough to let me in and helped me earlier. Service is above average! read more

We live in Brooklyn, and are finishing up two bathroom renovations. We shopped around most of the tile stores in Brooklyn and Staten Island, were very overwhelmed, could not find what we were looking for, and couldn't get any personalized attention. Working with Marco and his team was wonderful. From the moment we walked in the store, they helped every step of the way. My wife and I were able to show Marco photos of what we wanted, and he was able to figure out exactly what we needed, even if it wasn't in his store. I went to Ideal Tile of Edison looking for tile, granite counter and back splash. It's a family run business and the 2 brothers helped me through every step of the way. First we picked out the tile. Then we chose the granite which consisted of picking the color and quality slab. I have a long counter and I was concerned of that the seam would show. They assured me I wouldn't even see it. They held true to their words. We then chose the back splash which took sometime but they were very patient and helped me in my final decision. There installation came out flawless. We bought kitchen tile from Ideal Tile of Fairfield. Vince really knows his stuff. We had visited several other establishments before we went to him and they were okay, but we were still stumped. We got there at closing time and he could have blown us off, but he didn't. He was helpful and listened and literally within 10 minutes of being there we had found what we were looking for. Awesome, awesome, awesome! We have guests coming for thanksgiving and we needed to redo the kitchen on a tight schedule. I called around to other tile stores and even had a couple of the big box stores (think blue, and orange) come out and give estimates. Neither was able to meet the time schedule required of the job. Went to Ideal Tile of Edison with big dreams and a shoestring budget. Marco came to the house within 24 hours and measured for floor tile. Within days the old floor was removed and prepped for new tile!! The new tile came and wasn't what I expected but Marco helped me choose a new tile and made it right. The installation was professional and courteous, so much so that after my new cabinets were installed I called Marco back and had him do the countertops as well. Of course my wife and I have Champaign tastes and tap water money, but Marco found a countertop that looked exactly like a more expensive version that we liked and saved me about $500! No way I would go to anyone else than Ideal Tile! I'm looking around now for something else that they can come and fix! read more

The service and selection at Ideal Tile in Edison is the best in the area. We visited several other locations and Vince and Marco both provided us with top notch service. They also solved another grout color issue for us from a prior tile installation. They were the only educated tile dealers to provide us for an explanation as to why our charcoal grout appeared much lighter. Too much water used by the installation tech. We just redid our kitchen and dealt with a lot of different companies doing a lot of different parts of the project. We bought our back splash tile from Ideal Tiles after it was recommended by a neighbor. We could not have been happier with the product and service. We especially liked: 1) We were not coaxed into buying more product than we needed, unlike some of the other places we dealt with. 2) The customer service was TOP NOTCH. We mainly dealt with Marco (the co-owner), who somehow always remembered what stage of the decision process we were at, even with us coming in to the store 3 or 4 times. 3) The company was VERY accommodating to our schedule and needs. Do we want to leave the ideal in the store until we're ready for it? Fine! Do we want to pick up the tile and bring it home so that we have it? Fine! 4) The selection of tile is VAST. We were disappointed when we didn't see anything we loved at Home Depot, but when we went to Ideal, we were faced with picking between several things we loved!
