We live in Brooklyn, and are finishing up two bathroom renovations. We shopped around most of the tile stores in Brooklyn and Staten Island, were very overwhelmed, could not find what we were looking for, and couldn't get any personalized attention. That all changed one Saturday when we were in NJ, and browsing Yelp for tile stores in the area. We found Marco and Ideal Tile of Edison. Marco spent over two hours with us on our first visit, and many more hours with us as we drove from Brooklyn to Edison several weekends in a row, was extremely patient with us, helped us brainstorm the entire layout of each bathroom, spoke with our contractor to explain the design, was available for any follow up phone calls. We were extremely impressed with his level of professionalism and top-notch customer service. Thank you, Marco! You guys are awesome!! read more

Great selection! I went in to look for a shower bench piece. Unfortunately there weren't many quartz options to choose from in-store but the rep did encourage me to visit their warehouse. He was even kind enough to call them to make sure they had what I was looking for so i didn't drive out of my way for no reason. He also showed me a ready-made glassos piece that could work however it was too small. For a small shop, they have lots to see so something to keep in mind if you're renovating. Bonus: they open at 8 but the rep was kind enough to let me in and helped me earlier. Service is above average! read more

My wife and I have used Ideal Tile in Edison for several projects the last few years. I honestly don't think there is a better, more reliable business in this field in NJ (and we did a lot of research). We are extremely happy. Marco is the epitome of a professional who is honest and takes pride in his company's work and reputation. His workers are highly skilled and their attention to detail is incredible. From the very beginning, Marco guided us with design ideas and advice, and helped make our bathroom remodel job a low-stress affair. There were a few minor issues we experienced (unrelated to Ideal Tile) - and Marco went above and beyond to make sure we got the help we needed. We will never trust another company for our tiling needs, and appreciate all the work they have done. read more

Tile Loft - Remodeled bathroom (almost finished) done by Ideal Tile - Flooring Near Me - Edison, New Jersey

They didn't think the job was worthwhile. I only had 3 tiles to be replaced and CALKIN around the tub.

Wonderful selection of tile, flooring and trim. They are all extremely helpful in picking out coordinating tile and flooring. Had a bathroom renovated recently, the team who installed our shower tile and flooring were very professional, courteous and clean. They were all easy to deal with. Would highly recommend Ideal Tile for your house renovations. read more

I went to Ideal Tile of Edison looking for tile, granite counter and back splash. It's a family run business and the 2 brothers helped me through every step of the way. First we picked out the tile. Then we chose the granite which consisted of picking the color and quality slab. I have a long counter and I was concerned of that the seam would show. They assured me I wouldn't even see it. They held true to their words. We then chose the back splash which took sometime but they were very patient and helped me in my final decision. There installation came out flawless. I will always recommend Ideal Tile of Edison. read more

Ideal Tile - Great job!! Having never taken on a kitchen remodeling project (tile floor, counter top, and backsplash), we were unsure how or where to start. Upon our first visit to the showroom Marco was patient and informative as he guided us through the process and the enormous number of options. We stopped at other stores but never got the same good vibe we enjoyed at Ideal. The installation team was great as well. They showed up on time, were professional and completed the project on schedule and budget. The workmanship is outstanding and has garnered many complements. Thank you Marco, Vincent and the installation team! read more

Working with Marco and his team was wonderful. From the moment we walked in the store, they helped every step of the way. My wife and I were able to show Marco photos of what we wanted, and he was able to figure out exactly what we needed, even if it wasn't in his store. When it came time to pick up the tile, when one or two things didn't arrive at the warehouse on time, Marco personally drove it to my house to make sure I had it in time for the installation. Marco and his team were always available and responded via email or phone to any questions I had. When I need more tile work done at my home, Ideal Tile of Edison will for sure be my first stop. read more

We bought kitchen tile from Ideal Tile of Fairfield. Vince really knows his stuff. We had visited several other establishments before we went to him and they were okay, but we were still stumped. We got there at closing time and he could have blown us off, but he didn't. He was helpful and listened and literally within 10 minutes of being there we had found what we were looking for. I would highly recommend him. Great store. read more

The service and selection at Ideal Tile in Edison is the best in the area. We visited several other locations and Vince and Marco both provided us with top notch service. They also solved another grout color issue for us from a prior tile installation. They were the only educated tile dealers to provide us for an explanation as to why our charcoal grout appeared much lighter. Too much water used by the installation tech. I will recommend Ideal Tile to all of our friends with home projects in the future. Thank you, Al M. read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! We have guests coming for thanksgiving and we needed to redo the kitchen on a tight schedule. I called around to other tile stores and even had a couple of the big box stores (think blue, and orange) come out and give estimates. Neither was able to meet the time schedule required of the job. Went to Ideal Tile of Edison with big dreams and a shoestring budget. Marco came to the house within 24 hours and measured for floor tile. Within days the old floor was removed and prepped for new tile!! The new tile came and wasn't what I expected but Marco helped me choose a new tile and made it right. The installation was professional and courteous, so much so that after my new cabinets were installed I called Marco back and had him do the countertops as well. Of course my wife and I have Champaign tastes and tap water money, but Marco found a countertop that looked exactly like a more expensive version that we liked and saved me about $500! No way I would go to anyone else than Ideal Tile! I'm looking around now for something else that they can come and fix! read more

I was in your store on rte1 in Edison and spoke with the first person in the photo you have online. I needed work done to my bathroom due to the storm on 7/22. You asked for my information and said you would be at my house that afternoon. You did not call nor did you show up. If you were not interested , you should have put your big boy pants on and acted professional and said so. read more

In past few years, I have remodeled my kitchen, three bathrooms, and added Altar for religious performances in my house. When I started my first project, I went to Ideal Tile of Edison and since then I keep going to them for all my projects. They provide "Ideal" products and selection, "Ideal" service, and most importantly "Ideal" customer satisfaction. It is a family owned business and you do feel welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Both Marco and Vincent are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They can quickly figure out your taste and guide you through making the right decision for you. Amazing thing is, both brothers communicate so well that regardless of whom you work with, they both know the details of your project. I would highly recommend you to visit their showroom. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING OTHER PLACES, THEY ARE THE BEST IN ALL ASPECTS. I really want to thank Marco for helping me and making my all projects so easy and they came out so beautiful!!!! THEY GET 5+ STAR!!!! VISIT IDEAL TILE OF EDISON!!!! Pinki Patel read more

We just redid our kitchen and dealt with a lot of different companies doing a lot of different parts of the project. We bought our back splash tile from Ideal Tiles after it was recommended by a neighbor. We could not have been happier with the product and service. We especially liked: 1) We were not coaxed into buying more product than we needed, unlike some of the other places we dealt with. 2) The customer service was TOP NOTCH. We mainly dealt with Marco (the co-owner), who somehow always remembered what stage of the decision process we were at, even with us coming in to the store 3 or 4 times. 3) The company was VERY accommodating to our schedule and needs. Do we want to leave the ideal in the store until we're ready for it? Fine! Do we want to pick up the tile and bring it home so that we have it? Fine! 4) The selection of tile is VAST. We were disappointed when we didn't see anything we loved at Home Depot, but when we went to Ideal, we were faced with picking between several things we loved! We will absolutely use Ideal next time we need tile (we've got a bathroom project coming up) and have already recommended it to friends and family. read more

We have renovated two bathrooms. The tile shop we originally used was disappointing on several levels. In looking for another tile store I stopped in at Ideal. Their selection of tile, though may not have been as extensive as some of the other stores, was exceptional in quality. The styles just popped out. More important Marco and Vincent are not just salesmen. They know the tile business, know what works and were very responsive to our needs. The service they provided was above expectations. They went out of their way to remedy a situation I caused. read more

I recently contracted Marco from Ideal Tile of Edison to take on a Master Bathroom remodel. He was extremely helpful and took the time to listen to all of my ideas. He guided me through tile & marble selections and made it a very easy process. Marco and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional! I LOVE my new bathroom!! It is exactly what we talked about on my initial consult. I will highly recommend Marco and his team. I have had many projects done in my home over the years and Marco and his team were by far the best! I feel that this review does not even adequately describe just how good a job that Marco and his team did! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, THEY DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB!! read more
