We wanted to see if we could change our kitchen countertops and backsplash. We decided to go visit Milano because we had heard good things about them. Milano changed our kitchen countertops and backsplash. I want to let you know how lucky we were to find them. I had hated the countertop we had ....fake corian. But I didn't know if that could be removed. Our son and daughter-in-law had the same work done. It looked fabulous How to describe the welcome, yes welcome we got when we walked through the door. Marc and Danielle showed us what we were looking for, quartz for the countertops and then stood back and let us choose. No pressure. We chose one. Rocco came to measure to see what he needed to order. Let me say that whenever an appointment was made, they were right on time, if not earlier. Within the week, they called to say they had the quartz. They came on Friday earlier than they said they would. Remember, the old countertop had to be removed as did the backsplash. When they left the beautiful counter was in, and the sheetrock was ready for the backsplash. All the workmen were great! Two guys for the counter and two guys for the backsplash. If we asked about something or how they were going to do it, they cheerfully answered our questions. Oh, and one time I walked into the kitchen, and there was a small pile of debris on the floor. The fellow who was standing there apologized for it, I had made no comment. Of course, they intended to sweep it away. They were very neat. When they left, the counter was done! Beautifully. As I said, that was a Friday. An appointment was made to have the backsplash done on Monday. That time too they arrived early. What a pleasure, not having to wait and wonder. If we needed a return visit, they were cheerful and responded in a day, or even in hours. I am so happy that we had this work done by Milano. No one could have been better. read more

I recently had Milano Kitchen and Bath replace my kitchen granite countertops and tiled backsplash with a beautiful quartz / silestone countertop and quartz backsplash (as the selected supplier / installer for the metro NY area for Costco). First, the over the phone service was excellent and Danielle helped me with selection, costs, and timing. In fact, she also sent me to the Cosentino, the silestone supplier so I could see the larger slabs in the warehouse. It made a real difference in my selection. I really wanted everything completed before the upcoming holidays and they truly accommodated. Within 1 week they were out to measure and within 2 weeks, the job was complete. Rocco did a follow-up call to insure I was happy as the install progressed. Luis and his crew were very professional and they always wanted to make sure we were happy with the details, the progress and the beautiful finished product. Luis was not only good with stone and carpentry but he cut additional trim that was necessary to give the countertop a final finished detail against my cabinets. My company was conducting an extensive remodeling of a kitchen in a third floor apartment in Brooklyn. My client wanted to keep the existing cabinetry, but the footprint and layout had changed and the granite countertops no longer confirmed to the new layout. I thought we we would have to purchase an entire new countertop set-up. The client loved the existing granite and I called Milano based on previous work they had done for my company. Their design specialist, Rocco, working with my cabinet people provided design alterations and recommendations which would allow the client to use the existing granite. Milano removed the granite that day from the third floor apartment, transported the granite to their shop in S.I. Three days later Milano called and was ready to install. The installation was impeccable. Milano's workers were professional, skilled and friendly. Notwithstanding the numerous alterations that had to be made to the previous layout, Milano's seams and positioning were perfect. Their workers transported super heavy pieces of granite up three stories and their install people worked hours to get it right. I recently went to Milano Kitchen & Bath on Victory Boulevard in Staten Island and once I met Stefanie, I knew that our fireplace saga would be resolved. Rocco, the owner, came to our house to assess the work needed to be done and in two days with four of his workers....two on each day....the fireplace was removed, the entire box was sheet rocked, properly insulated, and the front of the fireplace was refaced with a beautiful stone that I was able to purchase from Milano Tiles, as well. Prior to hiring Milano Kitchen & Bath, for many winters, we dealt with cold drafts coming through our fireplace due to the fact that the original fireplace company did not sheet-rock or properly insulate the fireplace box....Even after reaching out to the original company that did our fireplace several times, that company did not take our concerns seriously and would not do anything about it.
