We've come here three times in the last month because I've been indecisive about which countertop I want for my kitchen. Each time, we've been greeted with friendly smiles and the staff has been ready to help. The checkin process is simple with a QR code, and the showroom is open for browsing. We've been to other showrooms, but this one is my favorite because of how clean and bright it is. Kids aren't allowed in the showroom for the stones, but there is a convenient kids' room with a camera that you can watch while browsing for your stone. Went to MSI after my kitchen cabinet vendor referred me to. We went to look out for kitchen backsplash . They had good range of colors and patterns . Looked a good showroom from inside . Service could really help. We were there for many minutes but didn't get any help. Many employees were walking around but no one asked us for any help. We were then told , we cannot order stuff and only the contractor can order , which is fine . What we ordered was not what we got . They messed up the order and gave a different product when we picked it up. I heard there are no returns but exchanges . Wierd policies . 3 stars . We had so many issues with the Kitchen countertops we ordered and they did nothing to help us. The wrong counters were delivered to my home. It turns out that the person taking the order wrote it down wrong. Two separate customer services reps admitted that the mistake was theirs yet they would not take responsibility. The counters they delivered were damaged in multiples places also! I had the installers remove them and I went back to the showroom to make sure they place the new order correctly. They sent me on a wild goosechase talking to my contractor and the fabricator who cut the stone all in an effort to deflect blame. They did not return my calls and when confronted the lied to me about it. They kept deflecting blame and never had any intention to correct the issue. In the end I had to purchase a whole new slab at full cost and they would not even agree to give me a discount. So because of their mistake they charged us twice in order to get the original counters that I requested. Luckily my contractor is AMAZING and absorbed some of the cost himself even though it was not his mistake. These people are crooks! They do not take any responsibility. Please do not buy anything from this company, they are not reputable and cannot be trusted!! There are many other places that deserve your business rather than MSI. SPREAD THE WORD!! read more

I had a flood back in January. We've been basically homeless for 4 months. Contractor finally tells me that kitchen is almost done and all I have to do is pick countertops for my kitchen . Unfortunately he only wanted to pick countertops from your place because I guess he does all his work with you guys. Your place is exactly 1 hr and 5 min away but with traffic it took me 1.5 hours. I knew this was going to happen so I picked up my 3 children from school early and get this over with since I have no babysitter and my husband was away on business. I did this mostly because my contractor wouldn't move on with work in my kitchen until I went to YOUR place. And honestly I wanted to move back home soon. I get to your place. And I was told that children weren't allowed and that if I wanted to look at countertops. I have to leave them in a kids room. Now... I am on my own at this point and my children are all under 7 so I did not want them to be alone in a room where I don't know who handles. I asked to speak to the manager. She refused to help me. No matter how many times I explained my situation. She refused to even listen and kept talking over me. I know my complain won't make a difference and I know you won't lose business because of me. I am only one person after all. But I will let everyone know how in a world that is so difficult to live in. Not one person tried to make my life a little bit easier. Not one WOMAN even made an attempt to support a very stressed mom. Knowing so well I have driven 1.5 hours away. In a world where I teach my children to be kind ... none of you showed me any kindness and that makes me furious. This May not make a difference but I hope you can all live with yourselves on how not one person was considerate, kind, thoughtful, helpful or empathetic. I had a clear vision of what i wanted for my vanity in my Master Bath Room. It was my impression this place would be the source as they supply many other stone vendors. The lady helping me brushed me off and said you have to look for it yourself. Showing her pictures was not making her more helpful or interested in guiding me. I also asked for a special type of stone, which se said she'd never heard of. Not having staff to help your customers should not come across as the sales person is annoyed over your questions. When I asked for samples from slabs that were not marked with a bin number for it, a tired person went and got it, she seemed very bothered having had to go get them for me. Safe to say I would not recommend this place, they are not interested in making business. I will not go back! read more

MSI is only the second tile and stone showroom that I've been to, but is the clear leader among those 2. Upon entering you are promoted to digitally register, it only takes a few minutes and ensures you'll get some personal attention. From there I browsed the mosaic and other tiles. These seemed to a good selection of trendier styles, but prices were not displayed so I can't comment as to whether this is an economical source. In a different room I noticed the door to the warehouse where the general public could see the actual slabs of stone. My first impression was of the safety tape and areas blocked off to customers, but beyond that was rows and rows of beautiful marble and granite. This place is about 75% larger than the one I previously visited. It was almost too much to look at. Lucky for me Pooja showed up just in time for me to ask her to lead me to some specific colors. After some comparing and her advice, I settled on one color. There were a few slabs to select from and with the use of a remote crane like doohickey I was able to pick one. My trip to MSI and choice of color was deceivingly simple when compared to the actual installation and purchase of said countertop. It seems there are a variety of ways to go about buying or agreeing to buy these stones, somehow I selected the most time consuming and illogical one. My wife and I went to MSI as part of picking out a countertop for our kitchen remodel. There was a stunning amount of inventory on display, and the staff were very professional and helpful. We went back a second time to select a slab, and it was still equally helpful up to and including taking us across the street to see a slab in a finish that wasn't available at the main warehouse. We got to see the exact slab we wanted, up to and including bringing it up with the crane so we could confirm everything was OK. We were invited to take all the time we needed - there was no pressure, and everyone was 100% professional and helpful. We'd previously been to Reliance Stones in Kenilworth, and while they seemed to have the better selection of quartzite, granite, and other natural stones, MSI's quartz selection blew Reliance away. They aren't that far from each other, so you should consider both in your search. read more

What a rude set of "receptionists." I asked for a salesman to help me select stone for a counter top and a fireplace front. The showroom is large and beautiful, but as large as it is, it doesn't really have a lot of choices. I waited an exorbitant amount of time until I had a salesman approached, despite having only one other customer in the showroom. Let me explain I am in the tile business since 1969 and my husband grew up in it so, we have dealt with marble suppliers for years. This was not my first rodeo. When the "salesperson" finally arrived he led me to the stone lab area and handed me a paper form and a tiny pencil and told me to write the name and Lot # and location of any slab I was interested in. I explained to him I needed something that was available polished and also with a honed finish. He left me on my own, with my holding my purse, my telephone ( to take pictures,) a sample tile of the floor and the paper and pencil, to wander for over an hour. After which I needed to know which of the slabs had a honed version, I went back to reception to ask for the salesperson. I was asked by the second RUDE receptionist,"Why do you need someone?"..."because I need to ask some questions." Eye roll by receptionist who kept asking me to justify asking for help!!! Finally the salesman returned and I showed him the three selections I picked. He looked them up and said they don't come in honed. I wasted more than an hour and an hour in travel time for nothing. BTW the same onyx samples are in Home Depot albeit smaller in size. Horrible experience. read more

On Tuesday April 12, 2022 my wife and I visited the MSI showroom. After completing the sign in process we were greeted by one of MSI's coordinators (her first name started with the letter D, sorry but I can't remember how to spell it). She was very helpful, polite, patient and knowledgeable. She showed us several granite slabs and once she knew what my wife was looking for, she took us to the exact color that my wife had in her mind. She had one of the workers pull the slabs and set them up so that we could choose the one we wanted. She gave us the paperwork and we are coordinating with the fabricator to have it installed. We have been looking for the right granite and backsplash tile for our kitchen remodel. MSI should have been my first stop. Shanice was excellent! So friendly and knowledgeable about the granite. Patient too because I was on crutches. She walked us through the warehouse to find just the right stone. She also helped us pick out the perfect backsplash tile. I came in one morning urgently needing to approve a quartz slab that I viewed online but not in person yet. Upon entering and signing in, I was met by Disha who was beyond helpful! She immediately brought me into the warehouse, showed me the slab and even offered to allow me to pick the slab of my choice. Disha also let me take a sample home so I could view it against my cabinets. Knowing I needed the slab quickly, Disha contacted my kitchen installer, put a slab on hold for me and made sure my kitchen installer was aware. Her quick help and customer service was very much appreciated that day and I was able to have my countertop installed that same week. Picking out granite is always mind boggling and seeing so many beautiful slabs didn't help. I will say the help at MSI is incredible. The ladies are very patient with helping you chose what may or may not work so that is a huge help. The showroom is lovely. My only complaint is that there is no one who will give you information about the product such as how porous is it, does it stain, what's the difference between granite and quartz, rather you're told to speak to your fabricator. Also there are no visual pricing or levels on display so this leaves you guessing what your fabricator is charging you. You may think you are picking out a mid level slab but find out it's one of the highest priced slabs. I guess they have their reasons but in the end I paid 500 more than what I budgeted read more

Sorry to say we were very surprised that we didn't receive any help with selection, correct tile to use, or design services as advertised. We were there for 3 hours, drove 3, so over all 6 hours trying to select all of our tile and tops for a complete renovation of our condo in Florida. All we heard for 3 hours is "we can't leave the counter" "We can't help you" Plus almost every sample we asked for they said they didn't have it. On another note...do not depend on their website as the tile is drastically different in person. Plus we ordered physical samples, paid for shipping, and they sent tile we never asked for. I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ - had no idea what to do once I landed. There is a huge amount of inventory and I was told to go to the warehouse. I looked around and said that I had found some tiles that I liked. The woman at the front area told me that I needed to contact my contractor to order. I took a picture of the items number. I then said that I wanted to try and pair the granite with some tiles and had some questions. I was told that there was no one there that took questions. I advised that I just wanted to know or have any suggestions on how to pair items. I was once again told very directly that there was no one to help with that. We made the two hour trek to MS International after ordering new granite countertops through Home Depot and were sent here to pick out our specific slab. The trip was well worth it. We were given a friendly greeting upon entering and signed in via the touch screens. The showroom is beautiful and is equipped with a coffee bar while you wait for someone to show you into the warehouse. The staff was helpful in explaining which options apply to what we were looking for and gave us a clipboard listing our options and where to find each slab. Saying I had a field day in this warehouse would be an understatement. They have beautiful stones and infinite options - you're sure to find something you love. Once we selected the countertop we wanted, the staff was quick to bring out the crane to let us select our specific slab and had our paperwork to hold it for us completed in no time. We found the showroom to be extremely nice and the assistance received helped us not to feel overwhelmed by selection, which is often the case. We left with a quartz selection we loved and a sample to use within our other selections for cabinets and flooring, which really helps. MSI even sent along a material reservation request for our countertop installer (who works with MSI and referred us to them to see the actual product). Now we have enough of the same production of slabs, to ensure they will match, with our countertop installer (no fee to reserve!). Very patient representatives, never felt rushed. After signing in and giving the front desk my info I was escorted to the warehouse where the slabs of granite and quartz I was interested in were and instructed on how to find them and how to locate the bins the samples were in that I could take with me. Very impressive warehouse inventory of granite, quartzite, and quartz slabs. Be sure to bring your phone. QR codes on the slabs allow you to see the countertops on a virtual kitchen. I ordered tile online. I received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup. Since it is an hour drive, I called ahead to confirm that my oder is indeed ready for pickup. This was confirmed by a woman who answered the phone. Upon arriving, I am told they cannot find my order. This was straightened out and I was directed behind the building to wait for someone to bring it to my car. After another 45 min of waiting in my car, someone comes to me and says they do not have my order there after all. This experience was very unorganized and such a waste of so much of my time. read more
