Long story short- my partner did a super botched job…read moreinstalling my floors a few years ago (just in case he's reading this, you tried your best but I'm sorry- ya did a bad job.) Came to Yelp to get some quotes and super happy I went with Interior Flooring Solutions! Here's why: 1. Quick service. Ruben replied to my inquiry immediately and we were able to schedule my free estimate (he was on time for my estimate). Something to note and why the quickness is appreciated- my work room is pretty small so obviously I'm aware my job wouldn't be a huge money maker (just being honest here, lol). With that being said, I was still treated like a valued customer with how eager he was to respond to my inquiry and take me on as a client. Also, I was turned down by a few companies since my room is small. 2. Once again, QUICK SERVICE! After my estimate, his team was able to work on my room within the next few days! We scheduled a time and they were actually there early! I still can't believe I finally found contractors who actually show up on time. A lot of times I've worked with contractors for various things and they are never on time or reschedule last minute. I'm super grateful to this company for being punctual. Lastly, they finished my flooring really fast. 3. Great quality. My floor looks amazing. When the team finished, they waited for me to inspect which is also appreciated. 4. Fair pricing. I'm happy with what I spent for my floors. To summarize: Swift service, great quality work, worth the money, and Ruben is just a really nice guy. You won't be disappointed with him and his team's services.

The team took care of moving the items in the garage - including the washer/dryer. The job took about 3 days (with the different coats) and overall everything was done within 10 days of reaching out! Wow! What an amazing experience it was dealing with the folks at Designs and Applications. Addison…read moreand his crew came referred to us by some friends and they did not disappoint. From the beginning Addison takes great care to understand what you really want as the client and creates a plan tailored to your needs and your budget. One of the things that I noticed and really appreciated was that Addison always gave us options and would go down the list of pros and cons for each one. Also, in my previous experience I have had contractors who would give me a low bid and then all of these hidden costs would start coming up or they would constantly have to redo and fix mistakes due to their poor planning. Designs and Applications really goes the extra mile to make sure there is a well thought out plan in place and it really ends up saving money. Our house totally screamed seventies and really needed serious updating. They came in and assessed the house and gave us a consultation and we immediately felt comfortable and like we were in good hands. We decided to knock out the wall between the dining room and kitchen to open it up and create an open/modern feel, refinishing of our wood floors, remodel of three bathrooms, and remodel the fireplace. The job they did on our wood floors was AMAZING! They used to be the super dated wood and they ended up looking like dark modern wood floors. We were really happy with every aspect of the remodel, but really appreciated how the crew respected our home, always cleaned up after themselves, were courteous and respectful, and above else did very clean and precise work.

Beside painting, Designs and Application does general contracting work. I had an incompetent drywall team who did sloppy work. Thank goodness for Addison, who came to my rescue. In addition, he moved my can lights which were position incorrectly by my electricians. Replaced the drywall, taped and mudded the patch in a seamless fashion. He proceeded to skim coated multiple layers of mud, while sanding, priming, re coating more mud to eliminate numerous flaws. Afterwards, he primed and painted/ sprayed my entire interior with two full coats of primer with back roll. Next day, he applied / sprayed two full coats of paint with back roll. Whatever his technique was, it solved the problem for my large area open floor plan ceiling with numerous angles of natural light. I would recommend Addison for any scope of interior or exterior work you may have. He's fair in his pricing and does an awesome job.

My general contractor sent over installers who did not prep the floor and started installing the flooring using the wrong methods. Consequently, they damaged a lot of planks. The GC thought it might be the flooring but Jan Morales at Sterling thoroughly checked it out and found nothing wrong with the batch so my GC and I both decided it would be best to use a contractor recommended by Sterling Carpet. Jan contacted Ray Harichi, owner of Pacific Tile, and although they were well booked in advance after hearing my situation he accommodated me in a very timely manner. Ray and his crewed thoroughly prepared the floors and did an absolutely perfect installation job. They also cleaned up everything. Within minutes after they left I dropped an unhinged door and chipped a plank. I called Ray and asked if he could repair it and he said he could but he was coming from south Orange County so he would have to charge me and booked solid so he would get to me as soon as he could. Two working days later, Ray returned and replaced the damaged plank. This is not a simple task and he worked hard to again make it perfect. When I went to pay him he did not even charge me just for being honest which was a big bonus! But truthfully, even if he had charged me, I can honestly say these are high level professionals and they did an absolutely beautiful job. I thank them all and would recommend them without any hesitation.

I hired them to replace my countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash and floor tile, replace my bathroom mirror (the old one was glued to the wall) and paint my kitchen ceiling. As a first-time renovator, I didn't necessarily do things in the right order (I had another company replace my cabinet doors and paint my cabinet boxes prior to the tile work) or even know what decisions needed to be made. Gio and Julio were patient and kind and helped me through it. The crew went above and beyond, making the tile work even more beautiful than I had envisioned. There was a little damage to the cabinet boxes - which I was warned about - from removing the old countertop, but the touchups made them practically invisible, above my expectations. The end result speaks for itself! And when there was a hiccup - a Fed Ex truck crashed into the truck carrying my countertop slab - they rushed to get a replacement to get back on track within a week. Very customer oriented. Next time I would have them do my cabinets, too. I think I have hugged my countertop at least a dozen times and can't stop staring at the backsplash tile - the detail in the window box is amazing.
