Since having three main living area floors completed, I have had Century Tile remodel two of my bathrooms. These were complete remodels- floor, walls, vanity, sink, minor plumbing( toilet and faucets). Words cannot describe how pleasant it is to work with Mike and Christy. Christy always makes sure all materials are ordered and delivered on time prior to the job and can always be trusted to lean you in the correct direction both in terms of style and quality. Mike, their project coordinator, is beyond great. Just as with the first job, he is always a phone call or text away to answer any questions. He also send the best people he has to complete the job, both in terms of skills needed as well as adhering to your timeline. No matter how many jobs he has going, he consistently checks in with his workers and you to make sure items are going smoothly. Added onto this, the workers are not only skilled, but a pleasure to work with. They are professional, have always left the areas they are working on clean - even throughout the job- and communicate with you throughout the entire process. More importantly, they problem solve as needed to make sure the job is completed with exceptional quality! I am currently saving and working with Mike and Christy to have my shower/downstairs bathroom remodeled and cannot wait to have an updated shower and a beautiful downstairs bathroom! I would not hesitate in referring them to anyone looking for bath and tile work!! Preface: Let me start this tale with some background. This project was not an exciting "Lets update our 20 year old bathroom and make it stylish and pretty". Instead the project started due to an undetected leak, the stress that comes from random water leaking in random places, and was filled with questions and concerns. Countless others "assured" me that this was a plumbing issue or just due to some neglected maintenance on a 5 year old new-install shower - and then wanted to blast holes everywhere to "find" the leak. At the same time, I did not want to rip apart a shower to then find out it might be plumbing and now a full on repair. I felt overwhelmed in making the wrong choice and doing 2 projects chasing my tail. Lucas walked me through all the typical scenarios that he has seen, leaning on the most probably is a structural fail of the shower system and then did a methodical exploration. A couple hours later and a minimal demo, he confirmed that it was in fact not plumbing related and was def. a failure of the shower system -- and walked me through what it would take. Once his team was onsite, they were focused - creating a whole "clean room" at the entry to the bathroom. 1 day demo, 1 day water-proof, 2 days tile - all while providing the proper time for dry-out and leak testing between steps. Lucas is a perfectionist, being critical on the most minor details -- which to someone that also strives for this level, but has no idea what they are looking for, was very much appreciated. Additionally, he has instilled this value in his team - that are true craftsman with their skill. Each step of the process was walked through, discussed, and made sure we understood the task, goal, and expectations. This is why I say Lucas/Soma Tile was a true partner in this project, as it wasn't a fun project -- it was an overwhelming stressful start where Soma Tile helped take some of the burden and concerns off our shoulders and work it through with their own expertise, experience, and dedication - ensuring every step was executed with precision. Lucas patiently reviewed design options with me and provided insightful guidance throughout the install. The attention to the smallest detail, combined with the use of a laser to ensure straight lines of tiles was impressive. No detail was overlooked! The color selection of grout was carefully coordinated with the tile. The workmanship is OUTSTANDING! The team demonstrated the same quality standards as they grouted and cleaned the tile repeatedly. Upon completion, Lucas, and his team cleaned the bathroom, and their work area. Soma tile was on time and a pleasure to work with! They truly are craftsman and take pride in their work. Back in May/June 2025, I hired Handy Gentlemen for interior work on my house. It is now…read moremid-September. David, the owner, seems like a nice guy, and he did a good job replacing the tiles on my bathroom floor, and he (mostly his assistant) did a lot of painting, which on the whole looks good. But see below... The big issues were what I discovered after he was finished and had left: fresh paint stains in multiple areas, including the wood floor of my 19th century house and even furniture - which I cleaned up. Splattered paint near the ceiling of my kitchen which still, three months later, has not been patched, paint stains on my oriental rug, a major purchase 40 years ago, etc. David said he would pay for the rug damage, and I only asked for 50% of the very reasonable $175 cleaning cost. David told me to bill him via Zelle, something I said I'm not sure how to do. He already has my Zelle information, since that's how I paid him for the work. But after messaging him and emailing several times, he has not responded. And I still have paint streaks on the wall and an unpaid bill. So I can't recommend Handy Gentlemen. I think part of the problem is that David is under-manned and a bit overwhelmed, but not responding to my messages is unprofessional.

Called the day prior to understand their process and if an appointment is needed, which was confirmed is not. We went to specifically select tile, but was open to view counter material in stock and if we liked something else from what we already picked somewhere else. Walking in, the woman at the front desk "greeting" you, doesn't look up or at you when speaking, rambles off where to find which kind of tile, while continue working on whatever engaged her more than potential customers. We came prepared with cabinet samples and ideas and started browsing around for nearly 15 minutes. Not once, did anyone come by to ask if we need help finding anything or if we have questions. I went to the front desk to inquire about a tile I liked on their website to see if they have it in-store to view. Again, the front desk representative, continued working on whatever was more important, without looking at me, and "explained" where I could find it. When I repeated the location back to her, she spoke over her shoulder without making eye contact, and said "It's somewhere between the 3rd and 4th rack; just look, you'll see it." We decided in that moment, that we'd prefer to NOT buy tile here. To the Management - the people you employ, represent you and your company. Either, training is lacking, or your employees do not value your customers in the same way you do. To the Front Desk employee - when you have a job, that is customer-facing, you need to be engaging and actually look them in the eye when speaking to them. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, you are in the wrong position, and need to apply for something that's at a desk, where you only interact with a computer.
