Saag Lamb -- a bit grassy
    Eric H.

Tikka House Indian Eatery has taken the placed of the renowned Zenon Mexican Restaurant. Most dishes I've had of theirs are pretty decent. For example, their Bhatti de Paneer is well-spiced. They also offer a version of Chicken 65 that isn't half bad, though their rendition is on the saucy side and lacks crisp. Their Saag Gosht is a negative for me; it had too "bright" of a grassy, spinachy flavor, very uncharacteristic of a saag dish. The service was friendly enough, and they've definitely transformed the inside of the restaurant from when it was Zenon; the interior is remarkably different.

Very good spot to eat at. Really enjoyed the chicken, tiki masala, the garlic naan, and the biryani one thing to be careful of your food. Will smell like curry had to take a shower and wash my clothes other than that 10 out of 10. The Nepalese server was also very kind. Give her a raise!

Tikka house is very close To my place of business on N Lamar. This is the first time I actually went it to eat during lunch. Place is small but inviting and there is enough parking spaces outside to park. Inside dining room was clean and service was good. We ordered couple of entrees with garlic naan and Lacha paratha and everything came out piping hot and fresh. Really enjoyed the food and they made it spicy to our liking. Wil be coming here for lunch more often since it's walking distance from me..

Super fresh, mouth bursting flavors, lil spicy but not to bad just seriously delicious. I do wish the naan was a tad bit more garlic-y but other than that 10/10. The fries were also super good, i know theyre just fries, but dipping them in the tikki masala sauce, damn good! My wife liked her wrap, but said there was to much cheese for her liking, and it was just sort of weird having cheese with the indian food flavors in her opinion. She said she would do the wrap again but with no cheese... and she also really loved my tacos.... We will definately be back to try the bowls and pizza one day, although my tacos were hard to beat! Next time I must try the street style chaat, that sounds amazing to. Keep up the good work guys!

Overall, I thought the food was just okay and didn't really satisfy the craving I was hoping it would. I also felt like the portions were surprisingly small for the price, so it didn't feel like a great value. One thing that especially caught me off guard was that they charge by each individual piece of naan, which honestly felt a little excessive considering how expensive everything already was. I know delivery can sometimes affect the quality of the food, so I can only speak to my experience ordering through Uber Eats. Based on this meal though, I left feeling a little underwhelmed and don't know that I'd order from here again. With so many great Indian restaurants around, I personally think there are better options when you're craving Indian food.

It is the type of day that makes you want to eat comfort food. Bombay to Kathmandu was the ideal place for some lentil soup and naan. My soup was steaming hot and my naan quite tasty. Walking into Bombay to Kathmandu feels like being transported around the world. The beaded curtains, tin doors and other Indian Nepali artifacts made the place appear authentic. I placed my order with the cashier, who was warm and welcoming. The menu is remarkably diverse, offering classic Indian favorites alongside traditional Nepali dishes, which makes it stand out. The restaurant is known for its momos, curry dishes and aromatic sauces. Importantly, there are plenty of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Their creative fusion items, including curry inspired pizzas are their specialties. My soup was quite generous and filling. Prices are reasonable, and the food consistently delivers big on taste. The staff was friendly and willing to help with spice levels and menu recommendations.

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.

The restaurant is clean, well decorated and ready for your visit! The staff are super friendly. I drove home with my order and it was piping hot and spectacular. Chicken tikka is spicy, mildly sweet and so delicious. A great way to conquer allergy season! The paneer butter masala had a lot of paneer. Many other locals have tiny bits of paneer in a sea of gravy. At Tamarind you will not be disappointed! Don't miss the potato samosas... Come on Austin, let's show these guys more lunch time love!
