As of April 2021, Culebra restaurants were still mostly shut down for indoor dining (some not open at all). Our group was pretty desperate for some lunch so we were relieved to see that Tiki's Grill was open, though for takeout only. They have a menu on the door with names of the dishes only. When asked about prices, the waitress only said that dishes were "mostly over $10" and that add ons were "a couple dollars." It was a bit annoying but we were hungry and willing to pay. It turned out that each dish was about $11 to $12 and add-ons like sweet plantains were about $1. We waited a really long time but I didn't mind too much since it seemed like each dish was being freshly made/fried. I personally got a fried fish taco bowl. The fried fish was pretty good. It seemed fresh and was covered in an avocado/guacamole sauce. The base ingredients were average (just some lettuce and tomato). Overall Tiki's Grill got the job done. Just be aware that things on Culebra work on island time, even more so than the main island. Also we didn't come to Culebra for the cuisine after all so I wasn't too bothered. read more

The waitress was incredibly rude to us, answering our questions about the price of the food (not on the menu) and what is in the food (also not on the menu). She refused to answer our question about how much the food costs. She also told us it would be ready in 20 minutes and when we went back in 20 she was like well it's fresh fish to be fried come back in a couple minutes, but it ended up being an hour long wait. However our order took a whole hour to make (only 5 items) despite an estimated wait of 20 minutes, and our waiter who took the order was not only snarky when we had questions about the menu, but also didn't tell us the actual prices for the items when we asked since menu they provided did not have prices listed. read more

Stopped here because it was one of the few breakfast places open. We were so hungry we just wanted to eat anything and didn't really care what it was. We got the breakfast burrito with fries and an omelette with toast and boy was it all delicious! The fries were homemade with a really good seasoning and were not oily, that's a plus. My favorite thing from everything we tried was the toast, it was so buttery and oh so yummy. Can't go wrong with trying this place out. read more

Came in here with the wife on our vacation and have to say I'm very impressed. Coming from Texas i know how a good hamburger is supposed to taste. One of the first things i noticed that made me realize that it was going to be good was that the lady who took my order asked me how i wanted the patty cooked. We asked for medium well on both. Wife ordered the egg burger with the egg cooked over easy. I ordered the blue cheese burger. Quite frankly the burgers were so damn good i didnt even take any picture's of them. The fries that came with were some potato wedge type fries. Honestly for being on an small island that gets all their food from mainland Puerto Rico this food rocked. Now i may be a little biased in that i was famished from snorkling all day, but these burgers hit the spot. Highly recommend and the order taker was super friendly. 5 out of 5!! read more

When we came here for dinner to get burgers, there was a lot of people so the wait did take a while. The food was definitely worth it. This place is a GEM!! They seem to specialize in lunch and dinner but also have breakfast and ice cream options. I had the slow roasted pork taco salad and it was super dope! We stopped here right before we dropped off our golf cart and were going to fly out of the airport since it was so close! The taco bowl was delicious! The chicken was well seasoned and moist and the shell was perfectly crunchy and fresh. I asked for hot sauce and they had this homemade version in a Puerto Rican rum bottle, we thought it was cool! This place makes a mean hamburger. They also are a great place for breakfast, which is sometimes difficult to find on the island. The outdoor seating is nice and they have a short order cook, so we were easily able to get lunch even though the breakfast menu was still up. Limited days in operation and hours from 9-4. But if you're craving a good burger on the island, this is a good spot. Burgers and fries run around $10. The wait is about 30min, even though they say 10min. I've had 2 good burgers: chili burger and Tex-Mex. Both were worth the wait. read more

What a burger! My tex mex burger was about $11 but it was large and came with plenty of fries. It was delicious! Great flavor. Took a little while but they worked out of a food truck and didn't have a large staff so it didn't bother us at all. Visited Tikis on the way to Zoni Playa after we picked up our golf cart from Carlos Jeep rental. Had the cowboy burger with potato wedges and man was it good! We did not bring any lunch from the main island and this is just what we need to keep us full all day!!! All the burgers sounded really good it was hard to choose! The lady said that all the burgers could be substituted for chicken also which it nice. I found that a lot of the places were closed during the week so it was nice that they were open on Tuesday. One of the best places to eat a burger. They have a great variety of burgers like the Pizza Burger or Taco Burger for example. On my visit I ordered one called the Cowboy Burger and it was really tasty. Also something important is that you can choose any of the options with a meat or chicken. The host, who also take your order and received the payment was very friendly and attentive. Prices are around the 10 dollars and they are worthy. Burger come with a side of fresh french fries. They are not open everyday, like the past review said, they have limited operational days but the service and the good food are the factors that I rate. Also just for the record the place is really clean, is outdoors and they have a very nice playlist on the playing on the background that is not to high and allow you to talk with your group or family. read more
