We came here after a day on the beach. You might miss it because there is no sign. The inside is very inviting and the people are super nice. A nice woman helped us read the menu (we don't speak Spanish) and said the Tripleta was the best, so that is what I got. She said it was a traditional Puerto Rican food and I thought I'd try it. The food was amazing. After the first bite of the Tripleta I had to try and think about a time when I had a better sandwich (I could not). The Puerto Rican sauces they give you are amazing too. I am begging you to go here now. 5 STARS!!

No signs or landmarks to remember but just look out for the blue roof and white door. If you blink you'll miss it! So don't blink! Small parking lot to fit maybe 4 small cars. Greeted with a huge welcoming once we walked in! Big smiles and awesome service! Small hole in the wall with full of flavor delicious sandwiches! Simple and easy menu to choose from sandwiches, burgers and quesadillas! I am so glad my family stopped here and tried out this place. There's about 4 bar seatings and 3 tables to sit 3 people each. My daughter is a very picky eater and she said when she took her second bite she wanted to come back for breakfast. Now that says a lot. I will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone I know who plans on visiting Puerto Rico!

    Tripletta wrap

The tripletta was the best wrap I've ever had!!! It took us 3 tries to find the place, but so worth it!!! Look for the blue roof and the red door! The service was great, very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Kapi Biftec is on fire !!!

I heard from this place from my buddy in Palm Beach FL. And had to check it out. It definitely cover all my expectations and more!! Food is super tasty and they have all this unique sandwiches, burgers and wraps! The service is outstanding and this place is owned and runs by Chelo & Leo two brothers very cool and friendly. They every spot around! Ask them for any recommendations! The ambiance is very puertorican! Nice music playing and people come and go with big smiles knowing that el Kapi delivers always great food!! We are committed to always stop by when in PR!! . Super cool people in Puerto Rico

This is such a beautiful cafe located in Fajardo with quick exit on highway 3. The online menu(google or yelp) shows veggie sandwich but it wasn't available We asked the chef if there was anything with vegetarian that could be made and he made us a veggie quesadilla with cabbage, potatoes, guacamole and cheese. And it was super delicious. We are glad that we stopped by this place and enjoyed our meal. They have clean restroom and air conditioning as well. I would highly recommend this place and encourage to support local businesses. Also please tip generously at local businesses.

Wow! If you are looking for an inexpensive, but delicious meal, then this is the place to go. Every sandwich is amazing. Loved the inventive choices. And everything was juicy and delicious. And fed a family of five for $60. Don't blink or you'll pass it! No real sign and it's just a little storefront in the middle of nowhere. But DEFINITELY worth the trip.

This place literally saved my life when I was visiting. I was starving and I could not find places that were around that stayed open after 9. The owner was so nice and helpful. I loved the sandwich and omg it was delicious. I would come again, thank you for the hospitality

The place is small and the parking even smaller (3 spots). I wait for someone to pull off the parking, cause I don't want to park and leave the car on the street. The waitress was nice, I asked her a couple of questions and she was very helpful. The tripleta sandwich I ordered was ready in no time. I was not overall impress with the meat inside the sandwich, definitely was not my favorite. It tasted weird, like they put a lot of ketchup or some kind is sauce. Also, the size is big but not as big as other places that serve tripletas sandwiches.

Stumbled upon this family owned hidden gem on our way to El Yunque. Mind you, the parking is very limited- enough for just about 3 cars. They just had opened that morning and we were their first customers for the day. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and patient as she explained everything on her menu. She even showed us the ingredients she used. With her recommendation, we tried the TRIPLETA sandwich (which has 3 meats- ham, beef, chicken). It comes with a whole bunch of condiments including potato sticks! Which I thought was a very creative addition! PASTRAMI Sandwich has similar toppings but the main protein is black forest ham. Even the QUESADILLAS were delicious with similar ingredients. The lady was nice enough to give us some of the freshly baked pastries which were yummy! They have a variety of flavors for their hot sauces! We tried cherry and grape! The portions were humungous!! It took us a day to finish them all! Highly recommend if you are in the area. It is not the most flashy store but inside, its very clean and the menu is clearly understandable.

This place was insanely good!! Huge sandwiches, super hot and fresh, incredibly flavorful. Staff was also very friendly! Parking is weird, but we pulled onto a road behind the restaurant and parked back there. If you're in Fajardo, you seriously gotta try this place.

    Steak wrap. Super crunchy fries.

Best food I ate while visiting Fajardo. We actually ate here twice because it was so good. Get the steak sandwich, trust me!

The Kapi was awesome and big. Same with the quesadilla. The location is very small and easy to miss from the street but totally worth it.

We stayed at the condos a couple minutes away so we decided to give them a shot based on the good reviews. Our waitress gave us all the best suggestions on the menu. I ordered the monfongo y camerones (shrimp) with the cilantro sauce. It was so good i almost ordered it twice just to take the second order home. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want some amazing Puerto Rican food.

I normally don't write long reviews, but this experience needed to be shared. My partner and I…read moretraveled from New York to Puerto Rico to visit his family for Thanksgiving week, and we decided to take his parents, siblings, and nephew out for a nice pre-Thanksgiving dinner. We saw Kalizo , thought it looked upscale and promising, and chose it for what was supposed to be a special family night. Instead, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was disrespectful and careless. We were a party of six, and the host simply pointed to a section and told us to "sit over there" -- no greeting, no walk-through. He dropped the menus on the table and walked away. We sat for over 20 minutes with no one approaching us for drinks or orders. We had to stop multiple staff members just to ask, "Can we please get a waiter?" Each time we were told someone was coming, but no one did. When the waiter finally showed up, he acted rushed, uninterested, and dismissive. He kept telling us that several items we wanted were "not available," rushing us to pick something else. I ended up ordering something quick because I honestly didn't know if he'd ever come back. Meanwhile, there were only about three other tables occupied, and we noticed something very uncomfortable: The English-speaking white customers were getting A1 treatment -- constant refills, servers checking in on them, drinks delivered correctly, food synchronized -- everything. Our table, where we were mostly speaking Spanish with my partner's family, was basically ignored. Our drinks came out wrong. Refills took three or more requests. Food came out one plate at a time, so half the table was done eating before the rest of us even received our meals. My plate was missing the sides and sauces it came with. I had to physically get up and find someone to ask for them. At one point, after asking three times for a Sprite refill, I just stood up and went straight to someone and said, "Can you please just bring me a Sprite can, a to-go box, and the check?" because I had enough. The food itself? Not good. Definitely not worth the price. And the service? Terrible. A woman who worked there quietly apologized to us and said she saw everything happening, but she couldn't intervene because she wasn't a server. That says enough about the environment. Overall, it felt like we were treated differently simply because they assumed we were locals or because we were speaking Spanish. Meanwhile, the tables of English-speaking tourists got excellent service. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned into a frustrating, embarrassing, and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're expecting fair service or celebrating something special.
