My review is based on a delivery order. My order came quickly and was hit upon arrival. I order a few things; the "steak" quesadilla was absolutely delicious, my favorite item. The empanada was kind of dry and I believe it should come with a dipping sauce to counter this. I must mention, this was my first time experiencing pasteles, I don't think I like this staple, it's a texture thing for me. The filling would be good in something else, but I did not like the pasteles, I could not finish it.
SO many vegan options!!! The whole menu was vegan. I was so excited to find an all vegan restaurant in the area. The area the restaurant was in was also super cute, it was nice to get out of old San Juan, as this area was just as cute but much less crowded. We couldn't decide what to order so we got a bunch of stuff. The onion rings may have been the best vegan onion rings I've ever had. The Mac and Cheese fries were fine. A little bland. I had the steak quesadilla and it was DELICIOUS! The cheese as amazing. My girlfriend isn't vegan and she got the Philly cheese steak and also said it was amazing. The cheese pull was fantastic. Only giving it four stars because they were literally out of everything. Upon being sat she told us like ten things on the menu they didn't have right now.
Decided to try this place for lunch after a nice morning at a nearby coffee shop. I really appreciate how they try hard to replicate popular Puerto Rican and Caribbean dishes in vegan form. When I dined here, the restaurant only had a few other people, so service was pretty fast. I ordered the Cuban version of the Mixta plate, as well as some rice and tostones to go. I'd say that the prices are fairly high for what you get here; the regular plate I ordered was fairly small, as were the side dishes. The vegan meat was also just so/so; the flavor was ok, but the texture was definitely off. In all, I would say that the portion sizes here are not really worth the prices, even considering the pretty good service and ambiance.
I appreciate this place for the opportunity for me to eat traditional Puerto Rican foods in a vegan style. The place itself is a little odd. Not sure if it's an art gallery or a night club at different times. The food was healthy and delicious. The sampler Pequeno was a nice mix of soft and crunchy finger foods. The empanadas were lightly fried in a clean oil. The cheese balls and corn sorullos were yummy. My favorite dish was the Relleno De Papa which was a potato ball filled with faux meat. My only complaint is the QR code menu is endless. It has an English translation when you click on the dish. This is way too much work when you're super hungry. Would have order more food but we're in a rush to catch our flight back home. Seems like they have many interesting dishes. I wish they just had a paper menu. PS A little tricky to find parking in this area.

I'll start with what I didn't enjoy: 1 - Buffalo Chkn Sandwich - I didn't like the vegan chicken patty. I don't know if it was Gardein, Beyond, or what, pero no me gusta. The onion rings were good though. 2 - Alcapurria HP - I took one bite and abandoned ship. 3 - White rice sans sabor. (get the yellow rice instead) I absolutely LOVED everything else. My MUST TRY list includes: - Empanadilla de Carne. Yes, it's filled with Impossible meat, but the way they flavor and cook it makes it phenomenal. I would prefer an accompanying sauce of some sort (even though it's delicious on its own). I ended up ordering their aioli for it. - Relleno de Papa. A deep fried mashed potato ball with a little criollo-style "beef" in the middle (also using Impossible meat). The meat is very subtle in this one though, which I prefer, so it's perfect. - La Mixta HP. This is what you want! A traditional PR dish veganized. It's Bistec Encebollado (think onion sautéed steak bites) with white rice and red beans (which I subbed for arroz y gandules), salad, avocado, y tostones. The flavors were exquisite! - Birria Tacos. Only available on Taco Tuesdays. Theirs has the best seasoned tortilla shell that I've ever had. I also tried a cake and ice cream dessert. The cake was ok (a little dense), but that ice cream and caramel sauce slapped! Amazing artwork. Service was ok; not bad, but not brag-worthy either. No complaints though.

Anyway, the service and the food were great. I had the steak quesadilla and shared the loaded fries. Very flavorful, well seasoned. The ONLY thing I didn't like were the drinks. I had the passion fruit juice and it was sooooo sour. This could be more of a preference thing though.
A lot of the reviews mention a long wait, especially before closing, we did not experience a long wait and we went around 7:45pm. They close at 8:30pm. There is no paper menu, a QR code is presented to you upon entry. It's a long menu that is very hard to navigate and understand. It's half Spanish and half English. The food is creative, I was excited to try it but the Impossible meat taste is very harsh and leaves a bad aftertaste. The loaded fries were a good portion which I expected because it was the price of an entree. I think this was my favorite. The Philly Cheesesteak had a vegan cheese that was heavy and off putting. It was presented more like a panini. The Combo 2 Rellenos De Papa is apparently their famous item on the menu. It came with rice and beans, shaved "carne asade", huge piece of avocado, salad and plaintain chips. It also came with a lentil soup to pour on top. This dish was good overall. If I were to go back, I would try the "beef empanadas and breaded "chicken" patty.
Definitely one of my must haves every time I'm on the island. I love the pasteles!!!! The alcapurrias, and the empanadillas are great as well! Really can't go wrong here. The ambiance is so cute as there is art work everywhere. Absolutely stunning work! read more
We were looking for something gluten free and came across 100% HP. After verifying with the server, we decided to go with the Mixed Up dish. The Puerto Rican steak tasted really good and paired well with the rice and beans. We also enjoyed the tostones! Good service, very helpful. The only hiccup was the coconut water, which is priced at $3.50 online and then came out to $7 (something about it being a different brand). They ended up refunding the $7 and charging the correct amount. read more

The menu is extensive and all vegan! Making a decision was tough. The restaurant is roomy and open. This type of food accommodates traditional eaters too! The service was quick and accurate. If you're looking for good comfort food- this is a great place! read more

The food was great, the staff and very nice. I was excited to go to try the milk shakes, but they were out of ice cream, however they were out. The lemonade was delicious, and made fresh. The food was nice and hot tasty. The place is clean and spacious, the music was at a nice level etc. read more

There are so many great things to say about 100% HP! Our server was friendly and kind. She was knowledgeable about the menu and had suggestions that we were delighted to follow. The food was just good. There wasn't anything I ordered that I regretted. My favorites were the banana empanadas, mashed potatoes with cheeze and vegan bacon, and the beans and rice! Everything was just delicious. 100% HP is a must visit when you are in San Juan!! read more

The vegetarian and vegan options at non-vegetarian restaurants in San Juan are passable, but feel like an afterthought. This establishment was everything we were looking for! The menu is extensive with options for everyone. The meat alternatives are mostly soy-based or Impossible meat and very well seasoned. Portions are great too! The restaurant has an awesome vibe, clean and bright with an art studio in the back. There is also a well-priced bar and some board games! One thing to know is the kitchen is actually across the street and they bring everything to you in to-go containers. Not necessarily a bad thing, but was a surprise to us. read more

I went here with a friend while on a trip to San Juan. It was cool! The ambience of the place was pretty dope, as the spot doubled as an art gallery. The menu was huge and had a mix of American and veganized Puerto Rican options. I didn't love the dish I got- I forget what it was called but it was like a deep fried bread with meat in the middle. It was kind of bland and dry. My friend got a burger and liked it, and all of our sides were tasty (fries, rice, beans, salad). Overall I am glad I went and would recommend it for vegans in the area! read more
The food was good and it was great to be able to try traditional Puerto Rican food without eating the flesh of a dead animal or breaking our vegetarian vows. Sacred vows. The setup was weird and I blame that on the pandemic. I don't think it'll be this way forever, but even if it is I guess it's not that weird as I type this lol We were expecting a sit-down restaurant type of experience but had to cross the street to a cafeteria type of thing. Placed our order and then it was brought to us in a brown bag. If you ever go and get confused now you can be less confused. But food removes all confusion. THE BEST VEGAN EMPANADA!!!! Seriously was so good and juicy and yummy. I also order their Mixta Remix (mixed combo plate), vegan empanada, and jugo parcha (passion fruit juice). The passion fruit juice was fresh but mannnn was it sour! Lol I don't think I liked passion fruit as much as I thought but if you love passion fruit, definitely get their fresh one. I think it was too much for me personally. The art installations were beautiful. I hope this place stays in business because it was a delicious vegan option. I'm kind of obsessed with grilled plantains and this place had some of the best I've had in a while. Flavorful, grilled with a light charcoal flavor and still nice and firm. The empanada was HOT and freshly made. I kept trying to eat it while it was burning my mouth and boy was it worth the pain HAHA! You'll enjoy some authentic Puerto Rican vegan cuisine here. read more

Food my husband and I liked from most to least. 9/10 Maui burger x2 (double meat). So juicy! 9/10 Piña colada. So creamy and perfect amount of sweet. 8/10 Sampler- I loved the cheese balls, empanadillas were so good, my husband loved the meatballs and fried corn 8/10 Loaded fries-full of flavor! So good. 6.5/10 Relleno avocado de bistec (steak). Meat was pretty salty but full of flavor. The tostones were a bit dry and could use some more seasoning. 5.5/10 Alcapurria- not much flavor to it, even with the salsa given. I would definitely come back. Atmosphere was great and service is great as well. read more

This was an AMAZINGGGG restaurant! Dragged my two non-vegan friends here and it was tied for best restaurant of the trip, and it was unanimously #1 for Puerto Rican food. Imagine their shock!! We ordered a huge bounty to try as much as possible and almost everything was a hit! The only meh things were more 'meh' because they weren't our cup of tea, not because they tasted bad/were made poorly. Everything we got was the perfect amount of cripsy (aka very crispy!!) and the perfect amount of greasy (aka it was all fried without being greasy/oily!!)!! Also the onion rings were called, by the person who ordered them and is very well-versed, the "best onion rings [she's] ever had" !! We went late-ish on a weekday 30 mins before closing and they either fixed the weird pickup/ordering thing, or made an exception for us. We ordered in the main storefront/big dining room and we didn't have to go across the street to pick it up. There was a bar but no drink menu which was kind of weird, also the bartender would run away from the bar whenever we walked over (?) haha. The only other bad part besides the bar difficulty was that we double-checked with the worker that we had all the cutlery we needed, after reading a review that they forgot before. Thirty seconds after the worker said "you could feed 7 people with all the food you got", he said yes, he included utentsils. But there was ONLY ONE SET LOL. So...technically accurate? OH also the menu is only in Spanish so do with that what you will. So this is what we got and how much we liked each thing: - TOP TIER: Onion rings, empanadas, la mixta, la bistek steak sandwich, tostones - GREAT: RELLANO de papa, impossible pastel combo - Take it or leave it: Rice, alcapurria I really would love to go back to try all the chicken-based things on the menu and the quesadillas! read more

Food here is great but customer service has changed. Used to order pickup from this place when it was smaller but I've moved from PR since then... the guys back then were so nice, happy and friendly. Just went to the new, larger spot for the first time... my first stop in PR and wow. The girls up front were not friendly, lifeless with zero smiles. I asked for hot sauce and they looked at me with blank faces... also charged me $2. And got my drink order wrong. For a place that I used to think of as tasty, this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. 5 star food, 1 star service hence the 3 star. read more

We really enjoyed the authentic taste of the vegan food. We had some of their traditional items: La Mixta HP, Relleno De Papa, & Alcapurria HP. The artwork was amazing, the service was great, and the music and atmosphere were very warm and welcoming. Sorry no food photos we tore it up!!!! Oh we also had fresh juice: the Puerto Rican cranberry and grapefruit! Very good! read more
