    Single Lady with Fries

It is an excellent option if you are staying at the beach. The burgers and fries are tasteful, good portions and made with fresh products. In overall, the service is great, you can stay at the restaurant which is a food truck style or you can take out to the beach!

Great place to hit up before, during, or after the beach! Relaxed vibe With hot dogs burgers and sandwiches to order. The fries and onion rings are also 5 stars.

    The Maria, add jalapeños!

Gracias, De Nada is a small food truck located on the side of the road (Look for the large red "open" banner-can't miss it!) but doesn't fall short of delivering outsized flavor. While the entire menu looked great, my group ordered The Maria, Single Lady and fries. All soooooooo good! Another plus is that the location is perfect because it's a stones throw away from the entrance of Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. When you have great food and great service, not much can go wrong!

The ginger limeade was also very tasty, and we grabbed a bottle of it on our way out to enjoy the rest of the day! They even gave use cups of ice and lids/straws for the road, very helpful. Nice and laid back place, you order at the counter and then they bring out the food. No rush, nice to sit and relax and enjoy the view!

So, I say all this to say - make sure to make a reservation if you'd like to avoid a long wait &/or disappointment with there not being a table available. We were extremely lucky to have gotten a table with a relatively short wait on a busy evening. Likely because it was within the last hour of the restaurant's opening!! Now - on to the best part... the FOOD! The creamy pumpkin soup with an arepa was really delicious!!! Full of flavour, prepared with passion and love and I would definitely go back for more! For our mains, my sister and I decided to both have the seasonal fresh caught fish with Puerto Rican yellow rice - YUMMMM! My only regret is that the fish was not big enough... I would have loved MORE! Overall this was a great dining experience.

My favorite side of the road fast food spot. Fresh food and…read moredelicious burgers. The Papi burgers are hand crafted and seasoned to perfection. My burger was juicy and had that deliciously bbq charred flavor. I asked for extra caramelizad onions thinking they were just grilled onions. I got a mountain of sweet, seasoned glazed onions. The bread was soft and perfectly sized for the monstrous burger. Now the meat, it was definitely hand crafted and seasoned. The house sauces perfectly complimented the burger, what appeared to be some type of aioli sauce and a herb sauce. As a local who lives on the Island part time this is my go to spot for a quick deliciously made meal. Another thing I tried was the Chicken Papi pincho (skewer), the meat was fall off the stick tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection. It was accompanied by a giant toston (fried plantain). For starters it cannot be beat. The atmosphere is not fine dining but for me it is just perfect. Great little spot under a few white tents in a lot. Plenty of parking and stores in the same street. Sharing the lot is the best froyo on the island. So there you have it, a fine damn burger and delicious fresh froyo! That can't be topped. Service was spectacular I might add. The gentleman serving me was sweet and attentive. So sorry I forgot his name, I know he was an employee, not the owner. We talked a bit while I ate and he made my experience perfect in every way. Thank you!

Some in our crew had the chicken burrito- it was large and we kept some to eat as a snack the next day. We agreed that it was yummy. The pinchos were (was?) so delicious- we only got one stick and we agreed that we should have split entrees and ordered more. My children got quesadillas and they were yummy- both chicken and beef. The meat sandwich (forget what it was called- sort of a cheesesteak) also got rave reviews. We did not order burgers but were told by someone else that they were delicious. Most in our crew wanted to return for a second meal on day two, but were informed by the person driving the car (who was therefore the final decision maker) that we needed to try a few more places before we do repeats. Sigh.
