Had such an amazing experience here! Made me transform from a mountain town to a Hawaiian beach! Cocktails were amazing and I highly recommend the poke nachos !

What a great find! Came to check this establishment out after hearing that they offered a flaming dole whip drink. Left so happy, full, and can't wait to go back! The staff working here are so friendly and attentive! The tiki decor is so fun and the surrounding somehow provided this welcoming sense of warmth; much appreciated since it was freezing outside. The food is delicious! We got the Tiki Tonkatsu Ramen and Coconut Crusted Shrimp. Loved them both so much! The broth was especially perfect for the weather! Can't wait to try their other menu items another time! The drink, appropriately named C'mon Baby Light My , is large, strong and so fun! Loved the generous portion of dole whip! Highly recommend checking this place out!

I came here on a couple days where they had happy hour and it was really fun. The bartenders were really nice. I think their names were christian and Sam. The ambience is very tropical. The first time I went, they were playing Pirates of the Caribbean the second time Gilligans Island. The food was spectacular. Definitely can't beat nine dollar chicken. They have a gorilla photo which is really cute and he can't beat the views of the lake.

I was visiting for the weekend and I was excited by this new restaurant in the square. The food was very lackluster. Service was slow. Drinks were weak. Got the original Mai Tai and it was just ok. We got the Ahi Tartare- this was a weird combo of flavors which just didn't work in my opinion. We got the wings too which was just ok. My husband got the Hulu Huli chicken plate. This was also okay. Portions were large though I got the shrimp tacos which was the best thing on the menu I think. It was pretty filling.

Come on baby light my fire and zombie drinks

We had a fantastic lunch at Tiki Republic. It was the perfect spot for a family-friendly meal. The service was excellent and the place is well-themed. It's a great tiki bar and restaurant. Kids had the miso ramen with tofu, and it was delicious. We had the Maui Moon rangoons and pork bowl and both were wonderful. As for drinks, we were all impressed. The "C'mon Baby, Light My Fire" cocktail was a standout and so tasty. We also tried a zombie and a mai tai, both of which were well crafted. Kids loved the Painless mocktails and pineapple dole whip ice cream. We visit a lot of tiki places, and Tiki Republic was fantastic. Can't wait to visit again soon on our next trip to Lake Arrowhead.

Friendly bartender Sam who took good care of us. We were a party of 2 on a Sunday. Didn't seem that busy, but they share a kitchen with the restaurant next door. Food came out a bit slow. We ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and a burger. Portion size was generous. Burger was juicy. The tacos were also delicious. Cocktails, Sam makes a really good Singapore Sling! Great place to stop by and have a drink. Ambiance is unique with a huge gorilla and faux plants on the walls and ceilings. Definitely a fun place to dine enjoy the ambience.

Had drinks and an app here while visiting Lake Arrowhead and loved it! We sat at the bar and it was fun to watch the episodes of Gilligan's Island they have playing. The decor is fun and fits the vibe. Our server was really friendly and great. The Mai tai's in particular were awesome - I don't like pineapple so appreciated they had a non-pineapple options. The lomi salmon app was also good.

My family LOVED this spot! The food was seriously good--huge portions and super flavorful. My favorite was the coconut shrimp, the wings and the Ramen. It all hit the spot. The view of the lake is amazing, and the whole place has a chill, island-y feel without trying too hard. Really relaxing. Service was great--everyone was friendly and on it. Just an all-around solid spot to grab a bite and enjoy the view. Definitely coming back.

This spot is really cute and I love that it connects to an outside , lakefront patio ! I wasn't sure what I wanted so I just asked the bartender for a drink that Included fire and I got the cmon baby light my fire !! It's a fanatic play on a traditional dole whip . Service was friendly ! I didn't get to try any food so I can't speak on that yet but I'll be back .

We had brunch at Sunrise at Sunset which connects to this really cute and fun tiki bar "Tiki Republic" Met up with Sam our bartender who not only fun to talk to you, but super intelligent and easy-going. First and foremost had the best movie playing on a Sunday afternoon. "Forrest Gump" Enjoyed some ice cold rosé and some delicious cream cheese filled wontons, but they weren't your typical wontons. These were incredibly delicious!! Aloha!!!

Our hostess was wearing a very cute Christmas hat, and she said she wanted to spread the holiday spirit! Our waitress was the sweetest ever; she was very helpful with our orders and even laughed at one of our funny interactions haha Everything tasted perfect! We shared the Kalua pork bowl and the Beachfire burger. The pork was extremely soft and tender, the coconut rice was fragrant, and the coleslaw was refreshing. The beef patty was cooked exactly to our liking, and my friend devoured the macaroni salad he chose as the side. The non-alcoholic Thai iced teas were delicious and innovative, we've never tried it with orange slices but it works so well! We did notice the drinks were about 80% ice though... I met the nicest, happiest woman in the restroom, and she recommended the sticky wings!! And the table next to us kept ordering more food (seriously, the menu was amazing) which they laughed about with their waiter LOL The decor was festive and inviting. They have touch-activated ambient mood lamps on each table and a fireplace playing on a screen (or was it real?) Highly recommend!

I think it took 10 minutes to get water, 10 minutes to find someone to get our order in, and then 20-30 minutes until our food came out. Definitely a very slow paced restaurant - come if you're not in a hurry and in a chill mood. We actually came here because all the other restaurants we wanted to try had a 2+ hour long wait and Sunsets was only about 30 minutes. You can walk around the village while you wait, which helps a lot.

The basket of fries were $12 dollars and was about the worst fries I've had. Zero salt or any flavor. The brisket sandwich and the rack of ribs were also dry and had no taste. (Flavor) I ordered a beer which they were out of then changed my choice which the waitress came back and told me they're out of that one too so I just ordered a Coke which never came so I had to ask her for it again. The waitress wasn't that bad though she tried. The fact that our bill was $80 dollars for one beer, one coke, fries, pork rinds, and a brisket sandwich was insane. The pork rinds were from the store bag with seasoning on them. Literally the only thing that had seasoning. Basically this place was not worth it and I don't understand how someone would go more than once. Will never come back to this place and I hope this helps both a person interested in going and also the people who work here. Our whole party was dissatisfied with this place and saw why it was so slow on a Sunday afternoon.

Stopped in from West LA for a late dinner during this most recent Valentine's Day & President's Day…read morelong weekend and it was honestly better than we were expecting. It's located on the ground floor of an Inn of the same name. It has an old timey, alpine look to it which really adds to the ambiance. They have a full bar, as well as booths, tables, and covered patio seating. It's pretty large inside so can host large groups as well. Our server was very sweet and all of our items arrived quickly. They don't have a very large menu, but it does have a lot of great options on it, especially for over 5000 feet above sea level. I chose one of the specials for the night which was the Black Cod. It was honestly great, cooked perfectly, and a fair portion. I enjoyed every part of it and would recommend. I also started off with the French Onion Soup and that too was great, it was a bit saltier than most versions I have back home, but still I liked it. We also ordered the Cobb Salad which was generous in portions, and we both really liked it. I was not a very big fan of the French Fries, that was the only downside of the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for dinner when visiting Lake Arrowhead, especially for anyone looking for a great place for a date.

I had tried another restaurant in the past, but wanted something different. Also, let's face it, around Lake Arrowhead only, there aren't many restaurants to choose from. The rest is all fast food. I was coming from a couple of hours away and obviously wanted to make sure I had a place to have Thanksgiving dinner. Therefore, as far as rating this restaurant for its regular food, I can't do that because I went for Thanksgiving dinner only. My experience as sadly as it is to say was literally the worst I've ever had, not been mean even if it sounds that way, but it is a true statement and it doesn't make me happy to say it, but reality hurts sometimes. We walked in and I can only say, it wasn't what I would normally agree to go to, not terrible but not impressive either. Casual for sure, boots and a cowboy hat if you have it, will do the trick. We were seated right next to the bar, this is NOT a huge place to begin with, so the noise from the bar was not pleasant to begin with. We sat down and a waiter came over, he was nice at first, the menus were not given out because it was strictly Thanksgiving dinner and the copy paper already waiting for you on the table pretty much told you what you were getting. Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey/ham combo or only turkey with all its trimming that you normally eat on Thanksgiving, which it was easy to order obviously, didn't make the waiter sweat either. We told him combo for both of us. I am not kidding when I tell you that not even 5 minutes later, the dishes came to our table. I was still taking my jacket off. I get it that everything had to be ready to go and prepared to make it fast and all, but that immediately turned me off. The food itself aside from being cold, not one thing on that plate was even warm, the presentation was absolutely awful, I still say and believe that had I gone to Dennys, they probably would have done a much better job and not charge $40 dollars a plate and already added 20% tip to it either. The food literally looked nothing like you would expect from a restaurant like this. It wasn't a dump!!! It wasn't attractive to me, but it was a restaurant, nevertheless. That food was simply disgusting. The plate came filled with everything that looked store bought from their not even market but like a 7/11 in the city. Filled with disgusting and totally salty gravy, not homemade of course, and it was which it wasn't, the chef or cook had a lot of fun with the salt or dropped it in it by mistake, that's how salty it was. The mashed potatoes awful, cold, not soft, have no idea what was in it, came in a made round ball, by the way everything on one plate, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, a tiny bit of greens, wherever those two tiny balls of orange things were, a tiny bit of cranberry in a tiny plastic container, a small piece of bread. All just thrown on this plate that honestly made me sick to even look at it. Been Thanksgiving and all, we waited to eat knowing it was going to be quite a bit of food, so we were hungry. My girlfriend literally couldn't eat it. She had a bit of the turkey while trying to find it underneath all that disgusting gravy and she said that it was the only thing that tasted ok, the ham was just as bad as the rest of the stuff on top of it. She literally had three bites of it, that was it. I had more because I was hungry and there was no other place to go unless we wanted to go to McDonald which after that meal, would have been a much better choice and a lot cheaper. My girlfriend had no dinner basically and I had what I was able to eat, but it was just bad. To top it off, came the pie. Now, my girlfriend loves pumpkin pie, I do as well, she makes the best pie from scratch. Two pumpkin pies came. Again, what on earth were those pies, we still discussing it, how can you go wrong with pumpkin pies, well, this place managed to do so. We even asked them what on earth these pies were and the waiter simply said "it's pumpkin pie", no it's not we clearly said back, but he just kept saying it was and that was it. We both couldn't eat it and left it. No one ever came around through our dinner to ask if everything was ok, no one asked us if we needed more to drink, nothing. $115 dollars. The tip was already included as I mentioned that it clearly said on the menu at the end of it that 20% was going to be included. This dinner was worth and only if you were totally desperate, $10 dollars a plate MAX. The waiter did not deserve his tip as he did nothing for it, the only time we saw him was of course to bring us the check. Worst experience ever, never again at this place, I don't even think I would take a chance on their regular menu after this.

For the mountain, it's solid, the bartenders are friendly, the drinks are good, and the food is decent. That said, my main concern is with the atmosphere. It's... fine. And that's exactly the problem. As most of us know, there's a serious lack of entertainment options up here, especially for people under 60. Despite the older demographic, there's still a sizable group of younger, creative, and social folks looking for something to do. Sure, you could be satisfied with a '70s rock cover band for the 100th time in the village, but if not, then Dogwood has the potential to be the go-to spot if it just puts in a bit more effort. The last event listed on your website was in 2019. The last Instagram post was over two months ago, and the one before that was for New Year's Eve. With that kind of minimal effort in promoting and programming, it's no surprise the vibe is lacking. If Dogwood committed even 50% effort to curating consistent experiences and letting people know about them, I believe it could be one of the best spots on the mountain. I like to take my dogs to arrowhead village and bop around from restaurant to restaurant order a beer and a small appetizer and just explore. I really hope they get it together because the competition is very fierce out there.

The food is made in a kitchen separate from the bar/ dining area. The food and drinks were REALLLLY good! The drinks have a kick to it, and as a big fan of tiki bars, the drinks here definitely hit the spot. Although it wasn't busy, there was only guy working and serving. It did take a while for our food and drinks to come out, but for being a one man show, I gotta give him credit for handling everything well!

The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. She had the Right Of Passage which was good and had a light fruit flavor and you could definitely taste the mango. The one man show Brandon took great care of us. It was slow at this time of day so we got a chance to chat with him quite a bit and service was fast. They have a weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Although we didn't specifically order off the happy hour menu, three of our items, including both cocktails were part on it. I give it 4.3 stars but rounded up to five stars. I'm sure the ambience is much better in the evening when it more lively and dark outside. They have a good variety of munchies, and the cocktail menu has a good mix of tiki classics and some originals. I don't think there any many tiki bars in this area, so I hope they do well.
