Ordered street tacos for Cinco de Mayo Besides being mini tacos - they had some type of white sauce that was not mentioned on the menu. Meat - onions - cilantro. Also, your website ordering doesn't allow for ordering two of the same taco under the 2 street tacos option. Might just be a glitch. Chips were good. I had to throw out the tacos. I can't eat dairy. Great tacos and better than any fast food alternative! I had the double stack cheesy tacos and my kid had the chicken tenders. The cheese seemed to be more of a cheesy sauce than cheese alone , but it prevented the taco from breaking apart, which was my desired outcome. Order at the counter and they bring it to you. Came in Sunday evening after participating in the Daytona Clash, triathlon. Jaden provided outstanding customer service. Picked up lunch to go from here yesterday and it was good! They have throwback Thursday salad specials, and ordering is super easy online (you can customize your ingredients and add/subtract whatever you want). I went with a salad (lots of romaine lettuce) with chicken, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, jalapeños and pico - it was really good. It also came with a side of chips. When I arrived, it was already ready and waiting on the to-go shelf, and the staff confirmed my name/order before handing it to me. Consistency is King! I have not been to Tijuana Flats in 10 years since I moved from Tampa to DC. So, of course, on this surprise trip, my go-to place for fresh food, a variety of sauces to tantalize the tastebuds from the hot bar, and fantastic service with a smile, I had to come home to Tijuana Flats. Kelsey was perfect. She was pleasant, suggested menu items to enhance my dining experience, and provided the level of service known at Tijuana Flats. The covid protocols were spot-on social distancing. Unlike other places that claim enhanced cleaning, I saw them immediately wipe down tables used by customers when they departed and other tables that were not in use. As I dined on my delicious Flautas, I was met by Mary. She took the time to notice and anticipated my needs before I could ask. What was indeed over the top was her engaging conversation that made me feel like more than a visiting customer but more like family. This service is the same I received a decade before and is why I will come back to Tijuana flats next week when I'm visiting Orlando with my family. Sorry, no pics. The service from the time I entered the door to when I left the table was amazing. Promptly upon entering I was greeted and asked if I was aware of the specials? I said yes and proceeded to order the burrito special for $6.99 with chips and a drink. The order arrived at my table quickly and was very fresh. Probably the worst burrito I have ever eaten. I ordered the carnitas burrito and the first clue that it was going to suck was the fact the tortilla it was wrapped in was cold, like refrigerated cold. Meat and fillings were flavorless and the overall temperature was lukewarm at best. Queso and guacamole were decent but the salsa was bland. Good selection of other hot sauces but not even hot sauce could save the burrito. This was my first and probably last visit to this chain. read more

I freaking love this place! It got much better than the last time I visit years ago. Seems to have added more to the menu. I ordered the banging chicken burrito on a wheat tortilla. Absolutely delicious. The staff too... man they all were so attentive and friendly. I believe it was the manager walking around too who was making sure all the guests were good. First time in a Mexican food "chain". I thought the portions were tremendous, the guacamole was amazing, and the chicken burrito was extremely fulfilling. So I found out my mom has never had a quesadilla...she got a kick out of the hot sauces and their "saucy" names, wink wink pretty solid good overall, polite and quick service, she enjoyed the quesadilla but expected more chicken inside. I thought the quesadilla would come with the lettuce and trimmings on the plate (like my flautas, see photo) but it came all inside. I felt she lost out on the "play with your food" kinda My flautas were not too greasy, well filled and crunchy. I enjoyed dunking into the cheese and sour cream. First time here and were greeted by a friendly employee who explained the menu and ordering process. We got the chicken flauntas and the chicken taco salad. The fluantas were really good and the beans they came with were tasty as well. This was my first visit to a Tijuana Flats, and ot came at an opportune time, after a visit to Daytona Speedway for the tour. Conveniently located acroas the street from DIS, it is sensory overload at first entrance. Colors, pictures, stickers, swirl around the interior, and luckily the friendly woman at the counter called us over and gave us the 411. Place and order, and it is delivered to your table mas rapido. Our orders od a blackened chicken bowl and burrito chicken were enormous in serving portion and were very good. Came with beans, rice, jalepenos, salsa, guac and sour cream. Chips were served as a hold-over until the food arrived, and more chips came with the order. Both red and green salsas were great! Counter staff was friendly, attentive to water refills, and the resturaunt was clean. I did not try their hot sauce assortment, which was quite extensive, with a variety of heat and colorful names. Might be worth trying in a subsequent visit. Unfortunately, there are no Tijuana Flats near me in the fine state of Pennsylvania, but it is on par with our Moe's, Chopolte's, or Neato Burrito. My family have been avid TJs fans since my brother moved to Orlando in the late 90s. That said, while there may be a heavy nostalgia factor at work, there was great rejoicing in our house when the Daytona (and the prematurely deceased Ormond) location opened and the tasty, tasty tex-mex was exactly as we remembered it. Quality varies from visit to visit, but everything is always more than passable - especially once you customize your order with one of the dozen rotating hot sauces. The biggest problem I've had lately is that my queso comes out not bubbling hot, but the hyper-attentive waitstaff bring out a new one as soon as I ask. Friday night trivia is always a good time, and they have a some decent midweek drink specials. If you're still hungry after braving a megajuana size burrito, try and convince the sixteen year old waitresses that there really is such a thing as a cookie dough dessert chimi. This place is okay! Kind of expensive for what they give you and the food quality is mediocre but they have a great atmosphere.

Every time I come here I have had a great experience. Owner is super friendly, and usually staff is super friendly. But tonight the staff was not friendly at all! They kept yelling at me and my family of 5 when we were looking at the menu and they were extremely rude when we asked to repeat the stuff on top of our food. I have never experienced such rude people here before. We took someone here for the first time so they could try it but will never come back. My brother recommended this place as soon as we got to Daytona so we had to check it out and I glad we did. The food was really good and such a big portions I could only eat half and free refills on drinks. They bring your food to where you are sitting and come around. The only thing that I did not like was it was my first time there and I was not sure how everything worked and the menu is in the counter so I was a little stressed when I first walked in because I could not see the menu and I did not know how everything worked. I enjoy coming to Tijuana Flats just for a light meal while I'm on the run. The steak taco and steak burrito really isn't that great and the hot sauce bar can't fix the lack of flavor (unfortunately)- so I'd recommend sticking with the chicken. The chicken enchilada and the chicken quesadilla are my absolutely favorite items on the menu, with the exception of the cookie dough flauntas (amazing!!). The chips and queso was okay, however, the queso had a scorched taste to it.. They also have great drink specials on Wednesday by giving people free beer. read more

Any time we are in Florida, we look for a Tijuana Flats. It's our absolute favorite Mexican chain restaurant and this location did not disappoint. The service was friendly and fast. This location of Tijuana Flats is the BEST location that you will ever eat at! They are all about the customer service/experience and go WAY out of their way to make sure you feel at home in their restaurant. This is not a typical fast food - order at the counter place and then they forget about you ... this incredible place comes around and checks on everyone ALL the time - need a refill? They got it! need more chips? No problem! Have a question? They got you! The food here is really great and the sauce options are almost endless. They have my absolute favorite chips of any Mexican restaurant which is a huge bonus! If something has been wrong or even not quite right, they have fixed it on the spot! I will always eat here at least once weekly as it is near my office and within walking distance, but if you're in the area and looking for good food and great service - this is the place! read more

Not impressed with the freshness nor taste. I got the Thursday special burrito, chicken, around 730pm. It was fairly soggy when I got it. The few bites I had at the table weren't impressive with flavor but I paid for it and I planned on eating it. I took it to go to eat on a red eye flight and by 3am (stored in cold rooms the entire time) it smelled pretty rotten. The plastic bag I stored it in was also filled with bad smelling liquid leached from the lettuce. If ingredients were as fresh as claimed on their website, it should take longer without refrigeration before smelling like that. Chips that came with the me seemed fresh and tasted fine. Hot sauce bar was good. My "coke" tasted off - not like Pepsi and the cashier didn't say anything about it being not coca cola. I'm left to assume it's something weird with the syrup or in the crushed ice. While the staff was nice and fast to respond to requests, the food and soda was awful and I don't recommend it to anyone. read more
