I've visited this location twice, and each time was great! It's about a $50USD consultation fee (which DOES NOT compare to what an ophthalmologist charges here in Cali). Their equipment is state of the art! Their office is clean, orderly, and the entire staff is very professional. Their doctors are very kind, and take their time to explain their diagnosis, treatments, and other helpful suggestions. This may be why other reviewers complained about the long wait time, but it doesn't bother me - I'd rather wait my turn to spend good quality time with a doctor, than be rushed out the door. We will definitely be returning for our checkups. read more

Unethical place to trust your vision , I had a surgery done in this clinic and some laser in my eye I knew something were wrong because exactly the next day after the laser procedure I was in intense pain and inflammation, went back couple of times for that reason but they just prescribed some eye drops because for them it was normal after many attempts without any real help the pain and inflammation was so bad that I had to pay an eye surgeon un the US to fix what they did wrong he was surprised to see the condition of my eye that was really bad , thankfully he was able to perform a good surgery and I was able to recover Sometimes we want to save some money going across the border but you put yourself on risk I would definitely consider another place read more

The office was super clean and up to date compared to my local eye doctors office in the US. I was able to get nice name brand prescription glasses and an extra pair of prescription sunglasses for under $500 dollars and got them the same day thanks to their inhouse services. I can finally see! Everything was very quick, service was great and everyone was always very nice. Drove hours to get to this place but it was worth every penny considering that in California the cost for getting lasik for one eye is what cost me there for both. I did have a few follow up appointments which I did not realize I would need, but it was always very quick and it felt like they truly cared. read more

My optometrist is closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and my contact lens prescription expired. I only had about 4 pairs of lenses that were not working for me any longer. I made an appointment at Clinica de Ojos in Tijuana and was able to get in the very next day. It extremely close to the border and very easy to find. Parking is also provided and a security guards watches the cars. I was highly impressed with the measures the clinic is taking to keep all of us safe. They have a very clock like system that makes checking in, paying, seeing the doctor and ordering supplies very simply and stress-free. Met Dr. Pablo Rodríguez and he is young, motivated and very professional. Liked that he was detailed in checking my eyes and provided me a sample of bifocal lenses. All of this took less than an hour. Highly recommend the clinic and the Doctor. So happy to have gone. I bought a 3-month supply there and ordered a different brand on-line back in the US, what I want to say is that the prescription is good internationally. Couldn't be happier! I had worn glasses for 15 years and a couple of weeks ago I went in to see if I was a good candidate for eye surgery. 24 hrs after my consultation I was having my eye surgery. Don waist your time and money and don't risk your vision. I went for consultation for laser surgery and they assure me it will correct my vision to near perfect really quick and easy. My vision ended worst than before the surgery. Went back and forth for almost a year and they keep telling me that with time it will improve. Its being 1 1/2 years and my vision is worst than ever. Can not read from far away even with prescription glasses and close reading only with one eye. I got chronic dry eye as a result of the Lasik and I have to be applying tear drops all day long. Two optometrists and one Ophthalmologist in San Diego told me I got screw with this surgery. I wasted $3000 and almost loose my vision. I am afraid to drive at night. During the day I need my wife telling me the names on the streets when I drive by an unfamiliar zone. I went in on Tuesday to get new glasses and a new contact lenses prescription, around $40 USD consultation, and the doctor told me I qualified for lasik. It took around 1hr and 30 mins the first consultation (keep in mind they also tested how thick my cornea was to get the surgery). I booked my surgery for that Friday 1pm, got there around 12:30pm, I was out by 1:40pm. I felt no pain or discomfort and went right to bed after the surgery. They also gave me a discount for the surgery so I paid $1850 USD for both eyes, during covid. The next day I went in for a free check up and walked out seeing 20/20, I had a -2.5 level of astigmatism beforehand. I did have to pay for my own eye lubricant afterwards, but I felt no pain and I could see perfectly. They went straight to business and got everything done quickly. 10/10 recommend this place! read more

Took an older friend here who had a vision problem. The doctor did not even examine her eyes and after waiting over an hour with an appt he spends 5 min at a cost of 1000 pesos to say shes old snd thats what happens. He talked down to her with disrespect and kept saying l"listen to me". Stsy away from this place they will treat you badly and with disrespect The only reason we came here is i had another friend who had eye surgery and the doctor at that time was good but no longer here. read more

Stay away from this place. It has been one of the worst experience I had with a doctor in my entire life. I went there just for my mom's appointment with Jose Luis Guerrero M.D. First they made us wait for more than 3 hours, they kept putting drops on my mom's eyes bc the doctor was running late, then when the doctor finally arrived he didn't even try to explain why he was late and he forbid the entrance to the exam room to my dad, when I asked why, his answer was BECAUSE I SAY SO. What kind of doctor treats his patients like dirt? I'm so glad that I accompanied my parents to their appointment because I was able to defend them. I asked for my money back and they did. They don't have any respect for people's health or well being, and He calls himself a doctor. He is a joke and totally unprofessional. read more
