I filled out the paperwork then I had to take of my contacts, I was only there to get glasses. waited 15 minutes then my eye exam was complete in 15 minutes. Payed and was told to come in 3 hours my would be ready by then. I paid 3/4 less than what I would have paid back home in LA. Overall experience was great.

Below I structured my experience at Dr. Mendez's Institute of Vision, in order of personal value. 1. Procedure: 10/10 My surgery took approximately 5 minutes. Each eye took on average 60 seconds. The best part about my whole experience was that the operation was completely painless. I denied pain medication, and yet I did not feel a thing. The ReLEx SMILE procedure that Dr. Mendez performs is the latest innovation in vision correction surgery (better than LASIK!). It is minimally invasive and corrected my visual acuity to better than 20/20. 2. This may be why other reviewers complained about the long wait time, but it doesn't bother me - I'd rather wait my turn to spend good quality time with a doctor, than be rushed out the door.
