Best boba pearls I've ever had. Chewy in the most delightful way. Love that they have different size boba! It's a huge bummer you can't pick your sweetness level though, because the original is extremely sweet. I took two sips and I could feel my mouth kind of buzzing from all the sugar. I gave the shop a couple tries and ordered a few different drinks before writing this review. I was really excited to try this place as I had them in Hong Kong before and they are my favorite. 1. The people seem inexperienced here with very very slow service. Only one of the staff was really nice and look actually happy to work there. The other staff are pretty rude. 2. The drinks are overly sweet and fill with 50% ice. Customers can't adjust the sugar nor ice levels. 3. You can't place an order through the phone. Which I thought would be great instead of waiting in store for over 30 minutes for a drink. The store has very limited seating and the music is super loud, not the best waiting spot. 4. The orders do not seem to go in order. I had people who ordered after me but got the drinks first. 5. The creme mousse has no taste. It just blends in with the milk. 6. The drinks look nothing like the picture. For the time waiting in line and getting a low quality drink with a price tag more than other better boba shops, I am pretty disappointed. read more

I thought to myself that Duluth would be a great place to open up a Tiger Sugar since boba shops are blowing up in this area. So a few months back, I was getting some takeout from el dorado and I saw a huge line coming out of the store next door... and was pleasantly surprised that it was Tiger Sugar! Couldn't hide my excitement and immediately texted my wife photos of the store. Unfortunately the line was too long that day, and I did not want to wait an hour for my favorite boba drink. So I came back on a different day a week later, and the drink hit just the same as I had in New York. QUALITY! This is by far the best brown sugar boba drink Ive had, and I've tried many from different boba shops. I will say though, if you are coming to this place for tea, you will be disappointed. Their tea is subpar.. I would look elsewhere for great tea. The only reason to come here is for their no. 1 which is by far the best drink there. The no. 2 is a close second with the coffee jelly. Delicious! Expect a line when you get there! The workers are VERY efficient. I haven't seen fast working employees like them before. They ran out of boba when we went (probably because there were so many people ordering huge orders). We waited maybe 10 minutes for them to make more boba, but they were super quick! I've been looking forward to Tiger Sugar opening in Georgia and finally got to try it! My friends and I ordered the #1 which is the brown sugar boba milk with cream mousse including both pearls and boba. The drink was so pretty and was so good after shaking it 15 times. It's not as sweet as i expected which is great since it's not so sweet you get sick of it but a refreshing kind of sweet that you can keep drinking without feeling bad. We waited for about an hour in line since it was the day after the Grand Opening. The inside had good music, was clean, and well decorated. Workers were fast and provided good service as well. I always really like tiger sugar because their boba tastes good. They are one of my favorite boba stores and I almost always get boba from them when I go to Duluth. One of the problem that people always complaint about is that they did not allow adjusting for ice and there was always a lot of ice in the drink. I always thought that they did not allow adjusting for ice because they wanted to control how it taste like. And their standard ice and sugar level was in fact truly tasty. Unfortunately that seems to be changing. This time I got boba with no ice but for $0.6 extra (which I only found out by reading the receipt after I already got my drink). While it is true that $0.6 is a very small amount, I am just sad that they are charging extra for no ice nowadays and I hope other boba stores don't pick up this as well. read more

If I were to base my review on just service, Tiger Sugar would probably score a 1. You place your own order at the tablet when you come in, and you have no interactions with the staff until you pick up your order. On top of that, I ordered my drink and got a confirmation text, then waited 30 minutes for one drink. I had literally placed the order and saw that they were about 20 orders behind, so I dropped off some family members where I was staying came back and still waited for my drink. Short staffed? Maybe. With only 3 people working, but one doing something in the corner and the other 2 handling the orders. Perhaps equipment malfunction? ‍ As for the drink, I ordered an Espresso Black Sugar Caffe Latte. It was... ok. After waiting for 30 minutes I almost wished it were amazing but it made the drink seem underwhelming. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. I know this place is a popular place but I don't think I'd ever order here again with how inefficient the service is, and since the drink was just ok. The decor is so luxuriously decorated with the black background. It looks bougie with the tigers in there. One thing to try is the brown sugar with espresso. I wanted to wait a little while after opening because I heard the lines were long and out the door when it opened. When I went to try it the line was still pretty long winding around inside.
