Stopped by for a quick caffeine fix before a long drive back home post-Hinterland and was so charmed by this little coffee shop! I know it had been an extremely busy weekend (two weeks, really, after RAGBRAI) and they have only been open for a few weeks, but they were so friendly and accommodating to everyone I saw come in! They had ice water out for festival goers looking for a break in the heat, chatted with me and several other people while they waited on their orders. I went with a simple iced vanilla oatmilk latte and it was fantastic. Looking forward to my return trip next year!

Tried the traditional, which was my favorite, we also had a Lemon, and Cinnamon Sugar. They were all great. Wife said she enjoyed the Lemon. There is another flavor called Holy Hot, but we didn't try it. Also, added a half order of the biscuits and gravy, which was very good. We also each got coffee. I got an iced coffee and my wife ordered hot. Coffee was great as well. This is a small coffee shop, but has great service and food. Definitely worth a try. We drove out of our way for this and will do it again. Small town friendly service and atmosphere. I'd post pictures but we already ate everything. Lol

I've seen reviews for this place, but never knew where it really was. My husband and I went on a…read moreroad trip and stumbled across this cute little coffee/food shop. Many places to sit and eat too. We ordered coffee and their signature beignets just like New Orleans. We got the originals. They were hot and fresh and delicious. Our drinks were made and delicious as well. We had to wait on the beignets, but our waitress told us they'll be hot and fresh and they were. It was worth it. Many other things I'd like to try, but it was a quick stop. Next time I'd like to sit down and eat inside. Very quaint, very cute.

I've been here for a dinner and a couple of breakfasts. This review is focused on the breakfasts…read more One was with my family (on a weekend) while the other was with a group of nine (on a weekday). If you come to this Mullets location when there are activities at either the Fieldhouse or the diamonds/soccer fields, expect parking to be a nightmare. Norwalk just hasn't made enough parking spots for the complex as a whole and unfortunately, that has to be hard on these businesses. If you cannot find a spot, how are you supposed to come enjoy. When you do find a day that has ample parking, the interior is really spacious and can accommodate many. We've had friendly service with good attention both times I've been. If you are a "fancy" coffee drinker and that's what you're wanting, you won't find it here. They'll serve you a black coffee with some creamer and sugar options. I'm not a lover of their water cups. They are metal and so very cold to handle. They also sweat quickly so are very drippy. My husband loves them. To each their own. The breakfast food has been good both times. I got the Seafood Hash the first time and questioned it having cheese but figured they know what they're doing. It was yummy all together. I couldn't finish it all and it reheated well at home. The second time I had the Cinnamon Roll pancakes meal. Those pancakes were delicious! I took two of them home and they also reheated well. Mullets is a solid addition to Norwalk for breakfast.

It was easy to find right next to the Norwalk Fieldhouse and ball fields. There's a large lot so parking isn't an issue. We arrived at about 430 PM and were greeted right away as we walked in. Party of two. We were shown to a table in the front dining area. Seating is a combination of booths, low top tables and chairs, and a bar area with the standard bar seating we all know and love. The location is a pretty big space divided into basically four areas. A smaller front dining area by the host/hostess station, a larger mid dining area, the rear section is the bar area. The restrooms are in a small hallway to the Left of the bar. There's an arcade at the end of that hallway. Tillman (our server) popped over a minute or so after we were seated. He handed us menus and took our drink orders. We ordered two fountain drinks, a catfish po'boy with cheese curds, and a gringo burger with cheese curds. The sandwiches normally come with fries and there is an upcharge for other side options. The food was ready after a short wait. Tillman kept our drinks full. He pointed us to the arcade so we could go check it out before our food arrived. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill and out of the fryer! Tasted fantastic! The catfish po'boy reminded me a lot of the one I used to get at Wobbly Boots. Next time I'll ask if adding bacon is an option... Lol Tillman checked on us a few times to make sure everything was okay. Everyone we ran across was friendly and at least said hello. One of the managers checked on us about 2/3 of the way through our meal. It's standard table service. Ordering and payment were done through our server at the table. They take cash or cards. Our total came to $39 and change before tip. Being relatively new the place looks clean and while they weren't too busy multiple staff members were wiping down surfaces and preparing for their dinner crowd. A great first experience with Mullet's - Norwalk! And Tillman, from start to finish, was a big part of that...! Can't wait to get back to hit them up for breakfast! . https://mulletsnorwalk.com/ . https://www.facebook.com/share/15zt7tUmyf/?mibextid=wwXIfr
