My family and I are currently in town preparing for a move here in a couple of weeks, and I am so glad we discovered this gem! I ordered the burnt end wrap with the maple waffle fries--absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the wrap was incredibly satisfying. My wife chose the chicken and waffles, which came with a sauce that tasted like a rich, butterscotch glaze. It was so unexpectedly good, I genuinely teared up--it was that memorable. I didn't want the plate to be empty! Our daughter had the bacon ranch po' boy and really enjoyed it as well. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. If you visit, do yourself a favor and try the chicken and waffles--you might just find yourself crying happy tears too. Highly recommend!

Checked out the new mullets in Norwalk. Has the Triple Berry French Toast and a side of the loaded hash browns. French toast was great. Served on a board but the server brought a plate to transfer them to as I was eating. Loaded hash browns were a little disappointing. A whole pepper diced on top with some cheese. Not worth it IMO, just stick with the regular hash browns. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. We'll be back as there were lots of things on the menu that looked amazing.

Mullet's location in Norwalk near the ball fields and field house is a relatively new place. It's very clean with lots of sports stuff and signs on the wooden walls. It has some outdoor seating and a garage door that opens to the patio in warmer months. We went for lunch on a cold January day. We were seated quickly by a very polite server. She took our order and we had dinks on our table in just a couple minutes. I ordered the Rueben and my wife order the Catfish Po Boy. My sandwich was on toasted rye bread with big thick cuts of corned beef and was delicious. The Po Boy was huge! She took half of it home. Overall we both like the place and made plans to return for breakfast.

    Iced cold drink.

Update 12/18/25. Ate there for breakfast ordered the avocado toast flight. I didn't love it first. It is not served on toast. Forgot to take a picture It's serve served on what looks like a mini English muffin half. Tasted OK just not great. Several others ordered the breakfast tacos now those looked awesome that will be what I order for breakfast at my next visit. Service was great. We had a large group food came out timely.

This sandwich is every bit of a foot tall. Soft fried egg, onion rings, smokey pulled pork, bacon, and a burger patty with all the veggies

We went with show stoppers in the Barnyard Burger and Sheila's Old Fashion -- pretty delicious Thanks also to our servers who were able to walk us through the menu!

The best breakfast in the city. The cinnamon pankakes are the best. And the portions are huge.

This place is an adults only establishment - meaning no children allowed. Think of it as a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves liquor. Leave the kids at home. The waitress was there quickly to take our drink orders and gave us menus. We were initially curious how loud the street would be but were pleasantly surprised it wasn't loud. There was music playing at a good volume too. I could not decide what I wanted to order so I asked the waitress to choose for me. She thought that was a fun option and said she'd definitely go with the Sunset Smash and Fries. The only change I made was no pickles. My friend wanted as many pickles as they'd give her so we got mine on the side for her to have. Wow, was that Sunset Smash burger and fries good! The burger was juicy, tender, flavorful, honestly just delicious! The fries were thick with just the right amount of crisp and salt. Our waitress continued to appropriately check in on us as we ate and chatted. The only thing I'd love to be different is for our kids to be able to come. It's minors only and I know we'd all love the food there. Definitely coming back!

I'm well-behaved, I don't make a scene, and I always tip my bartenders well--because respect goes both ways. Last Sunday I was at Thirsty's: had two beers, paid as I went, played a little pool, and left when the bartender said he was closing early. No drama, no issues. But tonight? I walked in, and the same bartender took one look at me and said, "I'm not serving you." No explanation. No reason. Just... refused. Now, I get it--Iowa is a right-to-refuse state. Legally, he can do that. But I've never disrespected him, never caused a problem, never even raised my voice. Honestly? I'm just shocked. I didn't deserve that. So to my fellow polite bar-goers: I guess you can do everything right and still get shut down. Cheers to taking your good vibes (and your tipping money) elsewhere.

Bar tender with a pony tail accused me of telling everyone at the place that I was drunk and cut me off after 3 beers. This was my first time at this bar and the last. I even left that sensitive bitch a tip after I left from his false accusation. He didn't even have the balls to prove what he was accusing me of. Multiple witnesses around me agreed I did nothing wrong. Good thing this place is in the ghetto. Never stepping foot in this poor ass place again
