Definitely would recommend Tiger Air! We had a new AC unit installed in April 2025 and they did a fabulous job at a great price! On 9/6/25, our heat would not come on so we call our salesman Theo and left a message. Theo (even though he was not working that day) reached out to the Tiger Air office to call us back. Within 5 minutes Tiger Air called and had someone out that day. Theo also called us to be sure someone called us from their office. Charles (the tech) came out and fixed our issue. I was convinced that my air ducts needed cleaning by a tech that did a clean and check of my air conditioner. I followed his recommendation and paid $390 for the service. The tech that did the duct cleaning said that the vents had only a small amount of dust and debris. I spent a lot of money on an unnecessary service. read more

Had Tiger Air come out to recharge my system. It was a hot summer day and my refrigerant ran out of my system. As I was looking for a reliable mechanic I was recommended to call Tiger Air. I called in the morning and was quoted for someone to come to my home around 6pm. By my surprise they showed up around 2pm. I walked through my problem with the technician and determined that my system had very little refrigerant. He recharged my system, talked for a bit and he was on his way. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic I would suggest giving Tiger Air a call. They are affordable and trustworthy. read more

Some companies will employ deception as a means of leading you to the water, but they only intend to sink you once you arrive as they are really just blowing hot air (pun intended). That being said, I simply cannot comprehend the basis of such negative feedback concerning this company. I called them on Thursday to schedule a service appointment for my furnace, which has been inoperable since July. The person who answered the phone was very helpful in coordinating a time around my work schedule, and was able to arrange an appointment on a Saturday. The service charge was $37.00... try finding many other companies with such a reasonable rate! On the morning of the appointment, I received a text from Tiger Air, which featured both a photo as well as the name of the technician who was assigned to the call. About 15 minutes later, I received a phone call from Steve, the service technician, who confirmed my address and advised me that he was en route. Upon arrival, Steve - who was very polite and personable - first inspected the thermostat, and then headed to the basement to take a look at the furnace. After only five minutes, Steve identified the root cause of my furnace troubles - a blown 3 amp fuse - which he promptly replaced. The furnace now works great and I could be happier. So, whether you are braving the January cold or baking in the summer heat, if your heating/AC system needs a tune up, these guys will get the job done right! read more

Theo was great. He was polite. He called to let me know, he was still coming after some emergencies. Actually the office called too. He came to do a furnace tune-up. Honest about things I asked about. Not trying to sell me on something I didn't need. I did ask about my humidifier I was told it wasn't working by another company last year. He checked it out, showed me it was working and said a wire wasn't attached or something. Reasonable pricing. I look forward to seeing him in the late Spring to check my Air Conditioning. We had no heat on one of the coldest days in Cleveland. Their sticker was on our furnace, so i called them. Called at 830a, tech arrived 1/2 hour later than estimate. Inside temp in home 53. My furnace was blinking a code. Tech arrived and went to work, after looking inside he checked our outside flew. The tarp i have covering our patio furniture was to close to vent. Whoops! He said, we should keep anything 3' away from that plastic exhaust. The unit shuts down so Carbon Monoxide won't back up into our home. Heat back on. Learned a lesson. Only charged for service call. Horrible. Ironically enough I had a credit for a free inspection so I thought I would use it. Even with it being free it wasn't worth it! The technician was worse than a used car salesman, trying to make unrequired repairs. This was supposed to be a "routine cleaning" and maintenance. I have used other HVAC companies in the past, but none compare to Tiger Air. I called and a technician was at my house in 2 hours. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The company i called first came out and told me it would be $550 to fix my furnace. That was too much for me. So i had Tiger air come out and he found that the part the other guy was saying was bad, was just find. The issue was something completely different and it only cost me $190. He didnt even charge me for the service call. Im not going to use anyother company again. I highly recommend Tiger Air to everyone! read more

Avoid. I used them before to take care of a furnace. I called again this year for an annual $49 cleaning and was told I needed thousands of work, the unit was unsafe, blah blah. ??? I called another company I trusted (who I won't name to keep this honest) and he said the unit was FILTHY and just needed a cleaning. Which makes me wonder if they even serviced it last year. The new company said the unit was fine, safe and laughed when I told him Tiger Air suggested all this work. He said, "That's how they operate." I'll never call another heating and air company again. Tiger is staffed with genuinely helpful people, and will do what they need to get you back up and running. The cost to get them in the door is by far the most fair price I've seen, and is dramatically less than others in the area. There's also no BS, which is a nice change of pace. Your problem is explained to you in such a way that you actually understand what you're having fixed/replaced. They also don't try to push or sell you on a catch all fix, when what's really wrong can be taken care of specifically. Tiger has my full confidence and repeat business. No one showed up!!! My husband stayed home from work waiting for tiger air to show up for our furnace tune up and no one showed up or called. I called the office and they are just an answering service that takes the same information you already gave them to set the appt., so they didn't know what was going on. I did get a call back from a technician with a story on why they were not there yet well past my appt time so we'll be going with another company as tiger air is unreliable. It took a couple days to get the service scheduled because the live person you get to talk to is just an answering service that can't schedule an appt., so if the technician calls you back to schedule the appt and you aren't there, you have to call the answering service back and give all the same information because that's not stored anywhere. The answering service is antiquated and not valuing your customers time by not showing up or calling is ridiculous. Now after waiting 3 weeks for my appt., I will be trying another company. read more

This company came to our home said we needed a new furnace.Cost $4000.00. Got a second opinion and was told just needed a limit switch. Repair cost $ 80.33. Beware-don't use Tiger Air. My $49 furnace/ac visit turned into nearly a $400 disaster. Nothing wrong with either-but suddenly a part was broken off my furnace and my a/c was out of freon. Never had a business owner scream at me. Never had a business arrive at my house with no name on truck, tech, no invoice # or tech signature until Tiger Air. When I called for info-they wouldn't even give out the owners name. A lot to hide at this business. Don't EVER use unless you want to throw away money. I had to hire another HVAC company to come and fix what Tiger Air messed up. Warn everyone you know-don't use. AKA Astro Air. I would imagine they operate the same. read more

I had Tiger Air Come to my house as my furnace broke. I did not want just anybody coming to my house, so I did some research and they have been in business for 34 years so I had them come out. They responded right away and I had heat again in about an hour from when I called. Very good company. read more

The plumber called me when he was on his way and even arrived early. He was very knowledgeable on the issue he was looking at. With some trial and error with parts he was able to fix the leak on my sink. He provided recommendations for future parts and showed me the work he was performing. There were some parts that he needed to get from Home Depot which extended the service call, but at the end of the day he fixed the issue and that is what counts. The plumber was friendly and professional during the visit. I appreciate the owner, Phil, providing great customer service during the whole process. read more

I found tiger air in 2003 when my furnace died during my superbowl party. they did not upcharge for the weekend or holidays. I will never call anyone else! they just came out on Memorial day and fixed my central air. Phil is the best! he is sooo fast and always affordable!! I highly recommed them to everyone! read more
