amazing food and excellent service. a hidden gem tucked in downtown anderson. I visited each night I was in town.

I love that I found Tifudi! The food is excellent!--best Thai in the Anderson area with some extra variety options for that friend who isn't completely sold on Thai. Service is polite and prompt. Owner is friendly. The parking is limited during the day but it is only a half block from S Main at the courthouse (if you find an on-street spot on Main) and next to the Whitner St parking garage. After 5 there is plenty of parking in the lot behind the courthouse. The setting is fairly casual. I have never felt crowded near other diners. Some window seats with street view.

I moved to Seneca from Michigan over a year ago and was on the hunt for the best Thai around.... Tonight we were visiting magnetic south brewery down the street and I overheard someone talking about how good the Thai food was at Tifundi... it was fate! I ordered online while at the brewery, walked over to pick up my take out and drove the 40 minutes back to Seneca ... my oh my was it worth the wait!!! I ate the entire meal which could have easily served 3 people, until I had to unbutton my pants ... and then I continued to finish the meal. It was so beyond worth it and I can't wait to try it again!

This is my favorite restaurant in Anderson! The food, service, and the ambiance is amazing. I have tried a lot of the menu and have not been disappointed.

We went in for lunch about 45 minutes prior closing. They have a simple menu with the usual... stir…read morefries, noodle, rice, curry dishes. The lunch menu doesn't have appetizer options which was surprising and also cost them probably another $10-15 from our total as we might have done an appetizer and for sure coconut soups. That said, they brought out complementary spring rolls. We both had Thai teas, perfection! Hubby ordered the Drunken Noodle a notch below Thai hot which was delicious, and the Thai teas came was an excellent complement. When trying a new Thai restaurant (my fav cuisine) I always start with Green Curry (my fav dish) and if it doesn't hold up, I won't be back to try other dishes. Upon first impression, I noticed the curry with a thinner consistency, and I like mine creamy! Usually a thinner consistency lacks the punch of flavor that defines a good green curry dish. I don't know how Thai Lotus did it because of all the curries I've tried this has never happened, this green curry is outstanding! The flavor hits! I was so surprised! Yum yum yum! Our server was so sweet and everything was so delicious! The prices were reasonable, both our dishes and Thai teas, our tab was about $30+tip. I can't wait to go back for dinner service and check out some of their other menu items. We really enjoyed our lunch! Also, I love their artwork. I'm including a picture from right above our table that was just stunning! I wish I'd gotten pictures of the rest of the art series but I try not to include people in my images.

Today is Wednesday, February 11 2026, this is an updated review from a previous one I had posted…read more We loved Thai Lotus, until today. We go there frequently, we went there today for lunch, it was moderately busy, my wife ordered the lunch special fried crispy chicken with vegetables and rice, I ordered what I always order spicy eggplant with pork normal spice level, we also ordered the calamari appetizer. The appetizer came out. It was a small portion, but I had been craving it so I enjoyed it, my wife's crispy fried chicken with vegetables came out and they set the plate in front of her and walked away, about five minutes later our waitress walked by and said do you need a sharing plate? I said no I'm still waiting for my order. She gasped and said your order? I said yes spicy eggplant with pork normal spice like you wrote it down. She was shocked. She said let me check on your order. There were five other tables that came in after us. They all were served their food and after waiting 15 minutes I told the waitress cancel my order. She says well they're just starting it now. I said it doesn't matter. My wife is done eating and I no longer have an appetite. They gave us a three dollar discount on our total order and did not charge me for my dish. I was so frustrated. We loved going there, however, after this, we will not go back. The big issue is when she realized that she messed up our order. She did not make an attempt to make my order a priority while my wife's food was getting cold. They just blew it off and put me at the end of the list this is a terrible way to do business oh and by the way, I left a $1 tip on a $33 bill. We are so sad that this happened because we really like this place but we are done we will not be back.

I always try to give a restaurant at least twice before leaving a less than stellar review. Well…read morenow I've tried them a couple of times and I'm still not impressed. The food is okay, not great. The service a bit of a mess, the ambiance is okay. Our table ordered Drunken Noodle which was good, red curry and green curry. We also had a coconut soup and an order of baby egg rolls. My favorite part of the meal was the baby egg rolls and that's kinda sad. My companions ordered Thai teas and I got sweet tea which my tea was fine. Hubby's drunken noodle was actually pretty good. My green curry (with tofu) was fine but the rice was mushy. We also got a mango sticky rice for dessert but it seemed the rice was leftover from yesterday maybe. I wish I had better remarks but again, this is not my first visit and I had similar complaints the first time. As far as service, the servers were nice enough and I think for the volume of patrons they were doing okay but it still was a bit of a mess. They were doubling the work trying to cover all tables when maybe they should've had separate sections. I think that would've quelled some of the overlap like both servers working to refill my tea and by the time one had, the other was coming with the pitcher. This next part is the fault of the kitchen. I watched table after table get served their dishes scattered, where one person would get theirs while the others at the table were waiting for theirs to come. Some would wait for the others to be served but some would go ahead and start eating ahead of their party. This happened the last time I was there as well. That needs to be tightened up. Personally, I wouldn't go back. The experience was a bit of a drag. We regretted ordering dessert as it took so long to come and we were antsy to get out of there by the time it came. The food was good enough but it could've been so much better and the service stayed afloat but certainly could be better.

We had never had Thai food before, my husband and myself came here for his job from East Tennessee…read more We really wanted to try it, but had no clue what to order. No worries, the Staff at Thai Spice were very helpful in recommending dishes that we might enjoy. We absolutely loved the food. When my son visited I was sure he would not want to eat there, he is so picky, but he loved it! Now when he visits he wants to know when we are going to eat there again! If I am feeling ill I get the Tom Kai Soup, I may not spelling it correctly but not sure, I always feel better, the ginger, mushrooms, you can have meat added or not, this goes for most all of the dishes. If you're a pro at Thai Food, or a novice like we still are, just ask! Everything I have had is great! You can't go wrong.
