The cookies are small and overpriced for what they are. Pretty generic. This location is sloooow for pickup.

I had the option of having them coordinate with our friends for delivery time but I wanted them to be surprised so opted for leaving it at the doorstep.

I was so joyfully greeted on this cloudy & rainy morning. I immediately wanted one of everything, so I asked for a moment to take in all the wonderful offerings and make my selection. I immediately knew I wanted fresh bread to take home & selected the cinnamon raisin bread loaf. They kindly sliced it for me before bagging it up. I also chose the Banana Nut Muffin with Chocolate Chips. I planned to take my goodies home, but barely made it to the car before I dig into the muffin and ended uo finishing the entire thing in the car - it was SOOO good and so filling! When I got home I dug into the bread. My favorite bread back home was the raisin hazelnut and Bresnan's cinnamon raisins is better! Full of soft raisins the bread, while I hate this word can't think of a better description, was moist. I ate another slice and then my son (picky eater) asked for a bite. He was so impressed he asked for a slice. It's been 24hrs and there are 3 slices left! I may have to go back again this week to get another loaf. There will be many more reviews of Bresenan to come as I plan to go back and try other breads as well as the baked goods and cookies. I also plan to bring a book on one of these visits. Maybe set up in the beautiful window seats or a cozy and quiet table to enjoy my fresh baked treat with a coffee and relax.

It felt like a true neighborhood spot--warm, familiar, and thoughtful. But this year, not even a "Happy Mother's Day" in sight. It may seem small, but it speaks volumes about the shift in atmosphere since the new ownership. Service feels more distant now, less like a community hub and more transactional. The new owner is courteous, but the inviting energy is gone. The food is still good, but I deeply miss the quiche--crafted with love and skill by the previous pastry chef. It was a standout and irreplaceable. Bread is made more often now, which is nice in theory, but consistency has slipped. My last loaf was disappointingly hard around the edges. This isn't a harsh critique--it's hopeful. I'd love to see some of the old heart and hospitality return. It made all the difference.

First impressions, outside, it's kind of a weird entry. Whoever divided the retail space needs to go back to design school. The entry is off-center, I almost went into the adjacent business. I like the little red cafe style tables and chairs outside. Inside its cute. Not huge but also not cramped and pretty stylish. The goods are right there eith the huge, colorful macaron display stealing the show. Now I came for the croissant. The boring, beige, flaky piece of layered bread, often served with filling inside. I surely obtained the croissant of two "varietays" (say it like cartman would), but i also left with macarons for the two living consequences of my marriage and a latte. So the Macarons taste as good as they look. I tried vanilla leaving the rest for the kids but assume similar goodness. The latte was kinda meh. Not bad but cold foam latte taken to go, wothout the sippy cup top it's not working unless you go topless, which is suicide in a moving auto. Also I could feel the heat from the espresso in my iced drink so order or operations went a bit awry. Now, ze croissants though. Sacre bleu c est maginifique or whatever they say in France. Good lord if that isn't how a croissant is meant to be then let the world burn. Amazing texture through and through. This will definitely bring me back again and again!
