Major disappointment!!!! I was downtown and was going to try that particular location I figured since I lived near Addison, I'll stop by there instead. Huge disappointment as you will see from reference pictures that may be actually want to try versus the product that I actually got.. I asked for a little chocolate chips and instead got little cookies with very little ice cream. The pretzels were sale and to say that the cookies were warm they were very hard. Then waiting to try this for a couple weeks now so you should understand my frustration. The puppy looks nothing like the photo. And nothing like what my colleague had!!! if I had gotten this before I paid, I definitely wouldn't have paid seven dollars for it. When I say this was the best cookie I've had in a LONG time?! I'm obsessed. I ordered delivery and decided to try something new. I got the snickerdoodle cookie pie. It was warm as promised, soft, almost ooey gooey but not raw. Like prefect all around. The owner even attached a note to my order offering to send of a dozen cookies to a loved one for free, so long as I pay for delivery. How sweet to pay it forward. Cookie craving hit I stopped by Tiff's Treats purchased 3 peanut butter cookies from the display case. He microwaved them and I was on my way. Got home the cookies were stale not fresh at all. Next day drove back on way home showed proof of purchase and asked if there are fresh cookies from the back? I was advised those cookies are for online orders only and the only way to guarantee freshness is to order online. So freshness is not guaranteed if it's not an online order? Small spot inside of a plaza. My wife wanted something sweet and found them through Google. When we pulled up I noticed 3 company cars so I think this place must be doing really good for themselves. Then I went on Instagram and saw this company has over 173K followers. This was a nice small place made for no more than 3 customers at a time. The place is very small and when I visited, there were only two workers running the store. It took them a little while to attend the customers, but they managed it very professionally! I ordered their tiffwich, which is an ice cream sandwich cookie, with two cookies of your choice within the display boxes. I got the s'mores cookies for my order, and it was delicious! A customer was waiting with his daughter behind us, and one of the workers gave them one free cookie! We stopped in for an afternoon treat. Since it was so hot we choose the ice cream sandwich: you get to select two cookie flavors and then they put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the two cookies. Note: the cookies will not be warm since that would cause the ice cream to melt, N had been surprised so throwing that disclaimer out in case you are not familiar with ice cream sandwiches. Our friend L has raved about Tiff's so we had to stop in during our final rounds before moving away from Dallas. Now, I have had them one other time when someone at work received them and they were not warm. Apparently, when they are warm they are incredible. I'm basing my review on what I have had though. I ordered the pecan chocolate chip and the chocolate chip (which the guy said was their most popular flavor). While the cookies were good, ice cream you can't really mess up vanilla - it was slightly better than average. Obviously it wasn't a supermarket cookie so that's good given the price. But, compared to Hope's Cookies on the Main Line outside Philly, they just didn't compare. I didn't find them to measure up to what I remember being the ultimate cookies and ice cream sandwiches from college in Bryn Mawr. Perhaps I will try them warm someday and will see how they live up to rave reviews of friends. Literally the worst experience ever I ordered half a dozen of snickerdoodles at 9 o'clock. They told me I'd be ready at 9:45 I drive across the parking lot from where I work and they tell me that they won't be ready for another 10 minutes. I said OK no worries. I'll go over to 7-Eleven. Stopped by after lunch on a Saturday because I had heard so much good things about it and it didn't disappoint. The location is very small once you've inside, 6-7 people max can stand inside comfortably. The cookies are pretty limited to only a handful of flavors but they are the best tasting cookies I possibly had. They are so soft and delicious. It wasn't anything special but wasn't bad either. You don't get a choice of flavor for the ice cream, so expect to be eating vanilla ice cream. I'm kind of on the border between 3 and 4 stars with Tiff's Treats. I came here twice while we were in TX. In addition to cookies, they have brownies, ice cream, and drinks. FIRST EXPERIENCE ---------------------------- The first time we came here for dessert after dinner around 8:00PM on April 20th. My husband and I ordered the Tiffwich ice cream sandwich ($2.50 each). It's served with Vanilla Blue Bunny Ice Cream and you can choose 2 different cookies. I went with a Chocolate Chip Cookie and a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. I paid in cash and my husband noticed that after the employee handled the money with his bare hands he took the cookies out of the display case without any gloves and went into the back kitchen to prepare the ice cream sandwiches. My husband is always very cautious about this kind of thing so he was freaking out a bit. He doesn't like how we weren't able to watch him prepare the ice cream sandwiches. He almost threw it in the trash, but I started eating mine and it was delicious so he got over it and ate his too. It was probably the best Ice Cream Sandwich I've ever had.... (would have gotten a 5 Star easily just for that) SECOND EXPERIENCE --------------------------------- We were leaving the following day (April 21st) so I wanted to get some cookies "to go" and another Tiffwich! I don't think I'll ever be in TX again anytime soon so I had to take advantage. HAH. Anyway, it was in the morning and as soon as we walked in we could smell cookies baking (heavenly!) I ordered another Tiffwich and she gave me this funny look and told me that unfortunately, they were no longer serving Tiffwiches because the Blue Bunny Ice Cream was recalled as it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (oh great... hah) We told her that we were here just last night had ate the ice cream and she replied that they didn't get the word about pulling it from the menu until 10:00PM (we were there at 8:00PM). Anyway, we researched it and turns out that the recall was mainly for institutional/food service ice cream cups with tab lids and the folks that reported illness were in a hospital. So we're not worried. With that said, we ordered a dozen assorted cookies (Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip & Almond, Butterscotch Chip, Sugar) to bring on our road trip. My favorite so far is the Peanutbutter Chocolate Chip Cookie. The Chocolate Chip cookie is okay, but I feel like they under bake it on purpose and it's too sugary. The Snickerdoodle cookie is also too sweet. I tried the Butterscotch Chip Cookie and it was pretty much inedible as it was waaaay too sweet. They shop has a nice simple concept, but I feel like overall the cookies are way too sweet. (Either that or someone was heavy handed on the sugar that morning.) I believe that a cookie ice cream sandwich should have a good proportion and ratio of at least 70 to 30 in cookie and ice cream proportions. What I got was more like a 90 to 10 ratio. I heard this place opened in Addison recently and wanted to give it a try. I had recently purchased a coupon to use so I cashed it in right before the holidays. I was able to order them online for pickup (they also deliver). I got 3 dozen cookies total, made up of 6 different flavors. I picked up my cookies at the scheduled time and they were warm as if they had just come out of the oven. Cool! I originally wasn't going to eat them until I went out of town, but I had to try them the second I got home. They were so good, especially with a glass of cold milk. Way to ruin a surprise! Thanks Tiff's Treats! I've ordered from the Addison location many times for years. Never had a problem. Until today - and boy did they ruin the surprise! Today is my boyfriend's birthday. He is home all day so I ordered a dozen cookies and milk to be delivered to him today. I placed my order at 9:40 am and picked the type of cookies, milk, upgraded to the birthday box, and selected the 11:45-12:15 time slot. When ordering I put in the notes: "He is home all day. But he may be asleep. He should answer the door tho. It's his Birthday. Please be sure to ring the door bell." Additionally, I gave them the gate code to get access to the apartments. And I confirmed with my BF that he wasn't going to be leaving and would be home during the designated time. Then I went about my day working. I was not able to watch my phone for random text messages. However, at 11:45 I took my lunch and found two text messages from Tiff's Treats asking me to call them to set up a delivery time. WHAT? By the time I called them - they had already called my boyfriend and scheduled a new delivery time (1:45-2:15 pm) with him. On the call, I asked them to explain to me why they called him. I told them he was home all day and gave the gate code and instructed to just ring the door bell. Answer was - it's our policy. Well you just ruined the surprise and delayed the delivery time by two hours. And it's too late to change our early dinner reservations now. When i told the girl I wouldn't use them again, she just said in a cheery voice "okay!". Wow - great customer service. I give Tiff's Treats a 3 Star because they've had good service and a great product in the past. But that girl on the phone with her "okay!" and the blowing of the surprise has me so angry I'm never going to work with them again. They don't really care what you've arranged or pay any attention to instructions you may have given or hoops you may have jumped thru to make sure someone's home and available during the designated delivery time. I always joke saying that tiff's treats is the way to my heart(no seriously though!). I love all the Tiff's Treats location ofcourse but I always go to this one specifically because of convenience and customer service. The employees here are so polite and friendly. They're always willing to make an extra batch of fresh cookie if you decide you didn't want the one that's sitting out. I love the chocolate chip cookie with bluebell ice cream and also the brownie with the ice cream. If you're a Cookie Monster like me you should definitely try out Tiff's Treats!
