Enjoyed Tide to Table's delicious clam chowder at the Rogue Climate event at the Coos Bay Library.

We were seated right away and our waitress gave us window seating so we could have a river view. I told the waitress it was my daughters birthday, hoping they would do something special for her later. We ordered a few drinks and made our food order. It took about 20 minutes before we were served. I ordered the burger and fries. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and my daughter ordered the mac N cheese. Everything looked good, however, my fries were lacking warmth and my burger bun was stale. It was not soft and fresh. I ended up not eating the bun, but just the burger itself. My daughters mac N cheese wasn't as great as she expected either. It was bland and dry. Yes, it had cheese, but it was stringy and not creamy. My husband loved his fish and chips. Hot and fresh and looked amazing. I did have a bite and it did taste really good. Note taken: Do NOT order anything but the fish and chips. When we were finished a new waitress gave us our receipt and asked if we needed anything else. I wanted to tell her we needed more water, but we were ready to go. I wish they would have filled up the carafe of water "before" I was about to leave. And..on top of that...no birthday surprise for my daughter. Some places sing a song or give a small dessert. But nope...not here. Oh well...I think I'll skip this place for any kind birthday celebrations.

Had a very nice experience here today…read more.. Ordered onion rings; the taste and texture were simply, *great.* And the serving size was more than I could eat in one sitting. My H ordered their deep fried mushrooms; and these, too, were simply, really, really good. Their serving size, too, was more than he could eat in one sitting. Both the onion rings and the deep fried mushrooms were also accompanied by dipping sauces. We both also ordered a bar-b-que baked potato which arrived with ample flavoring, accompanied by generous portions of butter and sour cream; more than needed to complement the potatoes. I plan to return! And look forward to doing so. The service was fine, the garden ambience comfortable, and the food, something I look forward to experiencing again. Highly recommend!

When we arrived, nobody could find our reservation and the patio was reserved by a party of 35 people. Our waiter tried to accommodate us as well as he could under the circumstances. He was super nice and took great care of us during our dinner. He found us a table inside and immediately took our drink order. We ended up ordering the BBQ oysters, wild salmon entrees and seafood fettuccine. The food was very good. The fish was a little overcooked but the seasoning was spot on. The oysters were a little overcooked as well. Our waiter recommended the lemon berry marscapone cake for dessert and it was delicious! The prices are reasonable. Ambiance is old school and kinda crowded. The space is small in both the restaurant and lounge and they've definitely tried to utilize every inch. The outdoor patio looked like the perfect place to have dinner. It was super cute with plants, flowers and water feature. Overall we had a nice experience. If it wasn't for our friendly and accommodating server, we would have had to leave and go find another restaurant on a busy Saturday night. We really appreciated his understanding and attentiveness. We would recommend.

We did not expect to find a French place anywhere in the vicinity, but we did. We had such a great time at Restaurant O, we went back a second night. We made reservations for Friday at 5. When we showed up, we were greeted by Patricia and instantly fell in love with the look and feel of the place as well as Patricia's hospitality and attentiveness. The menu blew us away-- it had all the things: Foie Gras, Oysters, Escargot, Tartare... the list goes on. We're used to enjoying this type of menu in Portland, but finding it in tiny Coos Bay was a real treat. The wine list was fabulous. Everything we had was prepared with great care and presentation. We were treated like royalty. Thanks for making our 10th special, Patricia and Restaurant O! I highly recommend this lovely dining experience.

We had reservations and the hostess took us to an upstairs dining area with a beautiful view of the bay. We brought our own wine and Bill was great and opened both bottles. The room was nicely decorated with various pieces of art along the walls and on the tables. The appetizers of pork belly buns, truffle fries, and Thai spiced steak tare tare were wonderful. Chef O also sent us a complimentary appetizer as the food took a little longer. It was very nice of him to do so. Bill told us they were down one chef and had the party of 30. I had the dungeness crab and prawn linguine, our friend had the special of the day with steak and prawns, and my hubby had the ribeye. Everything was tasty. Definitely go back again.
