    Scallop high tide portion

Still one of my favorites for fried scallops. Today was overcast and we encountered little beach traffic and parking issues. Their batter is light and they make their own tartar sauce. We prefer eating inside so we can keep an eye on the NFL playoffs. Always friendly service. Popular venue so try an off hour to get seated and prime parking

Delicious fried grouper with coleslaw and grilled vegetables

Tide Tables Restaurant serves up deliciousness right at the intersection of the Cortez Bridge and the Intracoastal Waterway. We ordered the fried grouper platter and the fried mahi mahi platter--both outstanding. The breading was perfectly crispy with just the right touch of salt. Our server was super friendly, as were the ladies who helped us find parking and get seated. The picnic tables outside offered great views of the marina and plenty of bird activity to watch while we ate. After a week of dining out on Anna Maria Island, this was easily one of my top three meals--fresh, relaxed, and full of flavor.

This is a great place right at the outskirts of longboat key to grab some food. The fish tacos were delicious. I enjoyed the rice that came with as well and their coleslaw. Servers were very friendly. Gets busy here, on a Wednesday around 2 there was a 25 minute wait but we decided to sit right away at the bar. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the water. Really good Florida vibes seafood shack.

Great food. Great service. Fantastic Views. Most popular item on the menu I was told was the fish tacos. They were fantastic.

Really fresh seafood, delivered in a casual old Florida way. Service excellent, staff helpful and informative. We had the peel and eat shrimp appetizer, the Grouper Tacos and the Scallop Basket. Inside or outside dining. Menu is limited, but delicious! Best seafood we've had on the trip!

Almost 4 percent of the tab to use a card??? It's freakin 2025, hardly anyone carries cash. We didn't even eat. I'll be happily drive to someplace else. Lousy selection at the bar, no drinks, just beer & wine. And the selection is very limited.

This spot was recommended on our last day of vacation. Food was great, service was awesome, from the parking attendant, the bartender filling in for the hostess to our server with great suggestions. Awesome vibe, come as you are place to be!

Relaxing and so enjoyable. Staff is so friendly. Waiting for a table is nice on a good day... tiki hut serves wine, beer and other drinks. Grouper soup was special for the day- delicious and full of grouper. Grouper Asian bites were also tasty- loved the sweet, spicy sauce. Tacos were recommended to us from some friends. Everyone enjoyed their meal- seriously didn't take pics or mark down their meal. (But all was good!)

Tide Tables is a casual seafood restaurant on the water. We sat outside, sharing a large picnic table with other diners. The view of the water and of the bridge crossing over the Intercoastal Waterway was so pleasant. We watched Brown Pelicans diving for fish. For us, getting food was much easier than for those pelicans. Tide Tables has friendly table service and the food was ready in under 10 minutes. We both got baskets, mine was their large Scallops basket with fries and coleslaw. It had 13 large scallops and for a scallop lover like me, greatly enjoyed. I got mine fried and they were lightly breaded and not oily. Afterwards we shared a slice of their homemade Key Lime Pie, a Florida staple in seafood restaurants. We thought the pie was about average. This is a popular place and while they have lots of parking spaces, it isn't quite enough. Tide Tables actually has people helping you line up until a spot opens up for you. Nice people, making the wait not so frustrating. We both agreed it was well worth our drive from Sarasota.

Great spot. Make the stop if you're questioning it. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Good chill service.

Thai Chili Grouper Bites were outstanding!

We parked down the block and walked over since we were early for our reservation. I love where they seated us (in the corner away from the bar and other tables). I don't think I'd want to sit anywhere else when we go back! Waiter was immediately on it with explaining specials and checked in with us frequently/filled waters. He recommended a Pinot noir based on what I told him I liked and I really enjoyed it. I also showed him a picture from Yelp of what I wanted for dinner and he told me how it would be a little different. I chose that dish and I wasn't disappointed. We literally scraped our plates clean. This was our first night out alone I a long time and I'm so happy we had such a great ambiance and dinner. Husband was confused with his dish (he thought the pesto was going to have pieces of zucchini and squash) instead it was puréed into the sauce with pieces of spinach. He still enjoyed it and said it felt lighter and healthier (not too oily). He also wished for more bread. Thanks for taking care of us Coasties! We will be back especially for that steak (cooked perfectly)!

I had the linguine with vodka sauce and added blackened chicken. The chicken was extremely dry and I was unable to finish it. The serving size of pasta I also found to be small especially for quite a high price point. The price point of the entire menu I think is also much too high for what you are getting. The edamame gyoza were only 4 in one dish and we also shared the hummus board which was very small for an expensive price. I think they should definitely be re-evaluating how their menu is priced for their portions and the meals themselves.

We started with stone crab claws, oysters Rockefeller and ahi tuna nachos--all fresh and flavorful. For entrées, the shrimp tacos were delicious, and the award-winning shrimp and grits definitely lived up to the hype. The Greek salad was also fresh and tasty. Our server was very polite and attentive. Great option for families too, with a kids menu featuring crowd-pleasers like chicken fingers and fries. There's also a fun little gift shop inside to browse, and plenty of parking, which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Hard to beat that. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating, and there was even live music on a Monday which was a nice surprise. Food was solid. We ordered the Nashville hot fish, grouper Reuben, grouper sandwich, and a dozen baked oysters. Everything was good, but nothing that really stood out or made me want to rush back. The only downside was the pricing. A lot of the grouper dishes are listed as market price, so we didn't have a clear sense of what things would cost going in. Totally get that with fresh fish, but the final bill felt higher than expected and not necessarily reflected in the overall experience.
