This review is for the wash and fold service /dry cleaning. I used them based off their stellar reviews.
I gave my laundry to Jay and I explained to him I wanted a few items ironed, and I understood that it would be an extra charge. Jay answered me that it would be dry cleaning fee.
Since, I had dry cleaning Jay told me it would take from Sunday (day I dropped it off) to Tuesday for the dry cleaning to be done. He told me the price was $32 for 25lbs (more or less) with dry cleaning. He preferred to deliver it to me on Tuesday with everything included.
Fine, understood. Perfect! I'm thinking - this might be my new place!
I had separated my clothes into office (delicates), colors, and whites. I even called him to make sure hot water/bleach, etc. He confirmed with me that he knew. Awesome!
Tuesday night rolls around 8pm, and I haven't received a call from the laundromat. Hmmm. I call and he tells me it will be delivered by that same night.
Okay, let me not harass him anymore (lol).
His father delivers it and tells me $23, which is odd because Jay quoted me $32. I call Jay to double check the price. He tells me, "I think it is $23".
Well, alrighty then!
I check my garments. Something is off. Wait a second here, where are my dress shirts?
I call him back, he tells me (lmao) are you sure, I gave you everything, let me check the camera I JUST did your laundry. He rudely hangs up on me. Whoa, so much for customer service buddy!
I keep checking my garments. My sweaters are....wet. My dress pants for work are ....wet. Four of my socks are missing...
He ends up calling me back, and tells ME that the dry cleaning is not ready and "they" must have forgotten it. Then proceeds to ask ME, when do you need it? Well, hello you told me dry cleaning would be done by Tuesday so ASAP.
My mom goes to pick up my garments on Thursday, and to complain to Jay. He ends up giving her additional clothes that he forgot to give me to begin with. Then he tells her, "hey new customer" and shrugs it off. No apologies or refunds or anything.
Well, guess what Jay you LOST a POTENTIAL LOYAL customer. Your negligence is noted, and your customer service skills is subpar.
- sweaters/dress pants were wet
- missing garments that magically showed up on the 4th day
- dry cleaning wasn't delivered as promised. Why promise Tuesday, when all my garments were done Thursday. It took you 4 days to do 25lbs?
- customer service? Baffling. Let's face the music when you're wrong, you're wrong.
Let me take my money elsewhere, where they won't bring my clothes back wet. I had to dry them off in my house. What did I pay for exactly? Smh.
