On the façade of Deluxe Cleaners, it reads, "Alterations Expert". This is the bold-faced lie I will…read morebe reviewing. Took my linen/cotton blend pants in to repair a small tear. Was told, "That's so small, she won't even charge you!" and "The repair will be so well done, you won't even see it!" Sounded promising, right? Never received a call the day it was promised on the receipt, swung by the store, was told "there was a delay" and given no other information. This was a bit concerning, I was was leaving in a few days out of state, and needed the pants. But, I trusted the process. The day before flying out of state, never received a call (as promised), I called and was told, "they arrived this morning." Why didn't they call? Was excited to pick up my fav pair of summer pants, when I inspected it, the seam where the small tear had been was at least 3 times bigger than what it should have been. Shop keeper says, "Bet you can't even see it, right?" It looked worse than before! Also had to pay for said pants, even though, as aforementioned, told it would be free. I don't mind paying for quality work, but this was worse than what I would have come up with. Upon unfolding to pants to try on, the original tear started to appear....wtf?! If you need alterations, DO NOT UNDER ANT CIRCUMSTANCES trust Deluxe Cleaners. The only reliable alterations I've found (so far) is Nordstrom.

If you care at all about your clothes, DO NOT take to so called "deluxe cleaners". We thought the…read morecleaner was knowledgeable and familiar with high end fabrics/clothing/linens. Oh contraire....she ....and I say she because she is the owner ...and responsible for the care of customers fine clothing and linens. She shrank multiple Tory Burch Sweaters of mine, shredded several of my husband's $300 shirts and shrank multiple French and Italian table cloths of mine from Elizabeth Grace. Wanted to give her a chance. BUT omg...horrible!!Hope you will take head and not let that woman's dysfunctional so called dry cleaner touch what you want cleaned. ultimately she will not take responsibility for destroying your things...she'll blame you... We've been using Tide in liberty for our linens and TJ for clothing. Happy happy

I had worn that suit to church just 6 days prior with NO ONE mentioning any holes or distress....so it wasn't there. When I went to pick up the suit and then question the mark, I was told it was probably a moth hole or that I had "picked it on something sharp". When told I had just worn it 6 days before and there were no issues, she said it must be "old". After I informed her it was a $500 suit I had worn 3 times, she said that nothing they do in their "process" could have caused it and took ZERO responsibility even though the suit was IN THEIR CARE when it happened. To make matters worse....THEY DIDN'T REFUND THE CHARGE FOR HAVING THE SUIT CLEANED THAT THEY RUINED. VERY VERY disappointed. I won't be going back. I like to be able to wear my clothing again instead of ruining clothing that costs quite a bit of money.

Extremely Disappointed!…read more I recently moved to the Cincinnati Area for a new career. My job requires me to wear premium and fashionable clothing. I purchased a new wardrobe from Brooks Brothers. $150 per pant, $89 per shirt, $795 for my coat, etc. High priced nice Wool clothing. The clothing was purchased in November 2014 and are less than 60 days new. I went to Widmers based on a recommendation that they do very nice work... This is definitely not the case... Upon picking up my clothes, my coat was missing... Instead of looking for the coat or even attempting to locate it, the manager rudely said "well are you going to pay for what I have found?" Of course my response was "no, I will pay when you find ALL of my items" the manager then said "Well I have other customers walking in and a driver that needs to take another load to our off site cleaning facility." Mind you the customers were still in the parking lot. The manager then proceeded to place my items back behind the counter hanger and tended to the other customers and driver.... Then finally began looking for my coat! Did I get offered a partial refund for my time wasted... NO.... Did I get a smart a** remark from the manager... YES... Just plain rude and inconsiderate. The best part to all of this; upon returning home and removing my items from the packaging; I noticed Pilling on all of my items.... What causes these crazy balls of fuzz you may ask.... Laundering of my Expensive Wool Clothing! I was irate in this moment and called the manager. The response I received was a very unsympathetic apology and an offer to send my clothes back to the warehouse for repair! Yes, I want the people who made my clothing look unrefined to repair them..... No Thank you...I sent pictures to the manager to prove my claim and she sent me an email stating that it appeared to be a manufacturer defect and told me to return all of my clothing to Brooks Brothers!!! I contacted Brooks Brothers and they told me they would exchange all of my Wool clothing, however, they wanted to make me aware that this is an excuse given by a dry cleaner that has messed up and washed my clothing.... They said that unlike the dry cleaner, they stand behind their product and will ensure that I am completely satisfied. However, I am a man of ethical responsibility, and will not make the party that is not responsible for this error hold responsibility.... Thank you to Brooks Brothers for being a company of integrity! I have spent several hours shaving my clothing back to smooth and will NEVER use Widmers again. I do NOT recommend you take anything of value to them unless you have plenty of time either correcting their mistakes or take pleasure holding other people responsible for their mistake. Price: $72 for 3 Wools Pants, 3 Shirts, and 2 Coats.... This price includes a $10 off coupon. I do have picture and email proof of my statements if you need me to validate my claims... However, based on other Yelp reviews that I have found on Widmers while researching this company; you will notice that my claims have already been substantiated by many other people. Please keep in mind that out of the 67 Million reviews, less than 20% are negative. I am one of the few that are disappointed enough to leave a review. Widmers should really take this serious as Yelp influences the purchasing decisions of over 200,000 people daily! Yelp is also used by Siri to give reviews on the fly and is ranked as the #1 review site. 98% of people who have made a purchase did so after viewing Yelp!
