CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I've never experienced such a frustrating situation and expensive. I've wasted…read moreover $50 here and had a problem every time. The first time both of the large machines left my clothes in a pool of water smelling like mildew so I had to wash them again and use the dryer much more than normal. I told staff who said I would be refunded for this incident. I went to another laundromat with the same machines that were in working condition and smelled fine then used the dryers here. I made the mistake last night of taking my stuff back here to the washers. In doing so the same thing happened my stuff was left smelling like piss and mildew and in a pool of water. I think it's part of a shady business idea to make your clothes wetter so you have to spend more money on the dryer. I went to my car to grab yet bake her $6 in quarters and upon returning they locked the doors earlier than advertised so my stuff sat inside overnight gathering mil dew and I couldn't access it. I called the next morning brought up the first incident and how I was told I would be refunded which all the sudden was taken back. In addition to the incident last night I was told I could have a free load! Why would I want to use these stinky problematic washers ever again!? Anyways I was talked down to very condescending as if I've never used a laundromat before. This place stinks and their largest most expensive washers do not work and will make your stuff wetter so you have to spend more money drying. I was told the first time I out too little in the washers then too much but yet got the same result!? Terrible customer service, very dirty and you'll be approached by homeless people asking for quarters. If you have any kind of problem you won't be refunded and you'll be treated like an idiot but more importantly your clothes will smell worst coming out then they did going in. So I've been using Laundromats for over a decade consistently I'm well equipped on how to use these machines.

ago Critical: Professionalism, Quality…read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. When I first did research on this business they had fair ratings. So I decided to bring in my vintage leather jacket back from the early 1970's. When I walked in I confirmed with the store owner (male) if they cleaned leather and he stated yes. When I went to pick up the jacket they did not have it ready, even though the ticket said it would be. So I told them I would pick it up on Monday due to my work schedule not coinciding with their business hours. I was able to pick the jacket up today (Tuesday 9/22/2020 due to the store being closed on Monday). The first thing the business owner says is he that he ruined my jacket. He confessed to repeatedly washing it over and over again until it shrunk beyond repair, ripping out the lining of my jacket, along with discoloration throughout the leather on my jacket, the leather is no longer even supple but hard and brittle in certain areas. When I asked him why he had not informed sooner given he that he had plenty of time he had no explanation (other than being cowardly). When I asked what he would do to fix the situation, he only offered me my money back and $50 credit. This jacket was $300 back in the 1970's and refused to even consider paying me adequately for the damage that was done. This jacket is no longer made and due to his bad business he wouldn't even make appropriate reparations. Then he tried to blame the jacket for why it shrunk, claiming it was too old to be properly cleaned. I know if the tables were turned he would be demanding that and then some for the damages that were done to his items. I am so disappointed by the severe lack of customer service. What is worse is he never actually even apologized. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE! The male business owner does not honor or care about your items!

I recently took a $2K couture evening gown to Orhan for fit alterations (it was too big) and a…read moreredesign of one element of the dress. The fit alterations need revision as the top half of the gown does not fit and feels twisted on my body. The problems are: a. The center of the bodice is no longer in the center, clearly evident due to the sheer illusion panel in the front (see photo). b. The waist was taken in too much so it is tight and causing puckering at the back waist and the zipper is misshapen (see photo). c. The skirt of the gown has puckering (that I have experienced in the past caused by the lining not being adjusted correctly when the dress was shortened). Orhan said he left room in the waist that could be let out to fit, and he thought this would also correct the problem of the off-center bodice. He denied that the puckering in the skirt had anything to do with the lining and took great offense to my blaming the puckering on his workmanship. He said there is no puckering. The puckering all the way down the diagonal front seam is obvious (see photo). He agreed that he would address problems a. and b. at no further charge as I already spent $650 for the original alterations. In the same sentence he also offered to refund my money. Then he threw out a zinger...he said "I think you have had a problem with us from the beginning". I wasn't sure if he was accusing me of ethnic racism or something else. I told him of my long history with Erol and Feliz before the business was sold to him and his partner, and he said that Erol and Feliz were good business people but horrible tailors, and that he was the excellent tailor. He repeated "you have had a problem with us from the beginning". My husband spoke up this time because I have been unfailingly polite to him and everyone in his shop. I did want him to fix the dress so it was wearable but after him going down this path I decided to take the refund and leave. When someone claims to be "the best", "an expert", "tradition of quality", holds considerable experience in dress alteration services", and charges the prices they do, they should expect to be accountable when there is a substandard outcome, especially when working on such an expensive garment. I took photos and measurements of the altered dress because the naked eye doesn't always see everything, and this seemed to offend him too, but it helped me understand why the dress felt twisted. He should have been embarrassed by the work product, not angry at me. I do not know if the gown can be fixed. The two shoulders are no longer the same width. The left front bodice is not the same length as the right front bodice when measuring shoulder seam to waist seam. Same problem in the back of the bodice which clearly does not have a level horizontal waist seam anymore (see photo).
