I just want to leave another very positive review for Kim and her dry cleaning/alteration shop. Not only is she kind and thoughtful, she is very good at her work. I've had both dry cleaning and alterations done here and recommend her highly. Sadly, Kim's shop was broken into recently and could use some community support right now. Support small, women-owned businesses please! read more

I've been going here intermittently since 2018 and found them to meet my expectations every single time. Kim is transparent with her prices and although alterations can be spendy, I'm never disappointed with the results. She's friendly and her dog is a welcomed greeter. I have been very happy with all my interactions here and appreciate this small business in the Wash Park area. read more

It seems the majority of negative reviews must be from previous ownership, because the new owner Kim does amazing work. Kim has done both dry cleaning and alterations for me that are high quality, fast and affordable! Ignore the negative reviews, and stop by for your alterations and dry cleaning!!! read more

This unethical business charges different people different amounts for the same product / service. This is some discriminatory unfair pricing. I have called and asked for pricing and heard several different price points and then I am told a different amount in store. It sounds as if they don't have standardized pricing and just charge whoever they want however much they want. I was a customer here for years but I am taking my business elsewhere and no longer recommending this place to anyone. Trash establishment. Fuck this place. read more

I went here for sewing for years, but had communication and conflict resolution issues. The last straw: I requested a pair of jeans have the crotch stitched by hand. They argued I needed a sewing machine. I affirmed I wanted hand stitched, not a machine. They didn't listen and stitched it with a machine. There were 3 inches of sewing machine thread lines all over the crotch. Instead of listening, they kept arguing that the machine was more durable. They had the audacity to charge me full price! My jeans were ruined! I walked out and left them. read more

I have never been met with such disrespect in my life. I have been bringing dry cleaning here for years. This time I brought a dress that had a small tear on the front, instead of sewing it myself, I decided to take it to who I thought was a professional. The owner said it was something she could fix. It was not. I brought the dress back in hopes of respectfully getting it fixed properly and was met with aggressive backlash. I would have settled for a refund, instead she said things like: "People like me are ruining her business", "By the looks of what I am wearing I can afford $20 in repairs", "I was looking for perfection" "My dress is too old to repair". Very rude comments and hostile screaming from the owner. I would have preferred if it was a fix she could not do, to pass on attempting to fix it. I was shocked to say the least. If anything is ruining this business of hers, it's her disrespect and utter carelessness of quality put into the services provided. I would avoid this location and owner at all costs. read more

Been taking my dry cleaning here for almost 3 years and have had a great experience everytime. Communication was open and honest about what the could do with the items. I've had a few items tailored as well and they were great. I would recommend! read more

Unfortunately was not a great experience. I took in two dress shirts just to be dry cleaned and they were done pretty poorly. It took about 48 hours to turn around and were relatively cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Staff was pretty rude and it certainly felt like I was an inconvenience to give them new business and distract them from cleaning garments. I get that they're busy, but isn't that the whole point of running a business? Location is convenient (just north of Wash Park), but I don't think that will be enough to bring me back here. read more

I intermittently need alterations, and Kim always does an excellent job at a fair price. I find her transparent, collaborative, and personable, and I just plain like her (and her dog)! read more

The worst dry clears I've ever been to. They required me to pay upfront for cleaning and when I came back my pants were all double creased and they did something weird with my pockets. They were all flared out from being pressed wrong. I didn't have time to go back to get them all corrected and just tried my best to fix them with an iron myself. The lady that runs the place is rude and her staff is either blind or trained elephants because they have the precision of a pavement smoothing machine pressing clothes. read more

The owner is super nice and a wonderful tailor! Great for dry cleaning and quick turn around. Highly recommend!

If your sign and website says open at 8 am then open at 8 am. Been waiting for 30 mins and have to go to work bc your business says you're open when you're not. I'll be moving cleaners read more

I found this place by chance and I'm glad I did. I got a bridesmaid dress hemmed and taken in. The owner was so nice and told me exactly what needed to be done. Pricing was also decent. I just picked up my dress for a wedding next weekend. It fits perfectly. I can't wait to wear it! I will be coming back. read more

I brought a skirt here to have the waist taken in, and it ended up with a large patch of fabric in the back where it had been cut in the wrong place. I won't be bringing anything back here for alterations. I haven't had any bad experience with the dry cleaning services, but a friend of mine wasn't given all his clothing when he went to pick up an order. When he went to pick up the missing clothes after describing them in detail, the owner was very hesitant to return them. read more

After going here for years today we decided we can't bring our clothes here again. I brought a brand new Lacoste polo of my husbands' here to get dry cleaned. When we picked it up and got it home we realized the shirt had been shrunk. There were three of the same polos different colors that we had "dry cleaned" they clearly had shrunk one of them. I went in to see if they would replace it the dry cleaning tag was on it still and I brought the other two polos for comparison. The owners response was send it back to the cleaning facility and have it stretched out.... I told her it wouldn't do any good the shirt was never going to be the same. Their policy is to refund10 X the amount of what you paid to clean it($3.50 for a men's polo). That would equal $35 dollars not $90 I paid for it. She did offer to reimburse me $35 and a $35 dry cleaning credit after i told her the shirt was ruined and could not be stretched. Then she ended with her telling me to go over to Lacoste because it was their fault according to her. I left without a check after I had made two trips in to resolve the issue. I was disappointed with the end result. I called Lacoste at Cherry Creek and they replaced the shirt for free. They were so kind and nice. read more

Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. I took my wedding dress here to be dry cleaned and she took it with no question. However, when I went to pick it up, the front details (ceramic buttons) were ruined. While she offered to purchase me new buttons, these details were integral to the dress and could not be replaced. She was extremely rude about any sort of compensation and asked another customer their opinion on the situation (which was very strange). The other customer agreed that she should compensate me for ruining my dress. She then agreed to write a check, but wanted to also take my dress. She got almost violent at this point, ripping my wedding dress out of my hands and screaming at me. We did end up agreeing on partial compensation but my wedding dress is still ruined. I am so disappointed and upset by this whole experience, especially from a dry cleaner that I trusted with this item. Please find another cleaner in the area and avoid this establishment. read more

Took a nice tee shirt in to have the hem shortened. Paid in advance and was told it would take a week. I called today and was told it was ready. When I went to pick it up, Kim, the new owner who brags here she has changed things, showed it to me and I immediately noticed the hem was not professionally done. But worse, I noticed a patch on the back where Kim then informed me it was because she burned my new unworn shirt ironing it. She offered to refund $10 of the $16 dollars I paid in advance. After Kim told me this was not a nice shirt and her mistake did not matter. I took the shirt off the counter and told her to forget the refund I would write a review telling her customers about this. Kim went wild. "No write bad review" she kept on yelling at me getting wilder and wilder. She followed me out the store and opened the passenger side door of my car still yelling "you not write bad review." She then offered me a total refund as she was in my car hollering. Kim then said " I go get the refund." I used this moment to escape. But this wild woman was not done. My phone was ringing limmediately. My brand new shirt is ruined. Kim never even asked how much it cost since she had no intention of making this right. Use this place at your own risk. BTW, Kim was working on a wedding dress when I arrived. I cringe thinking about it. read more

Tried this location due to new management in past 6 months or so. They did a wonderful job on my favorite sweater coat. No pilling and no smells. I highly recommend them now that their owners/manager are knowledgeable and considerate. Ask for Kim! read more

I cannot believe some of the terrible reviews on here. I can't help but think people are reviewing the wrong business because this is the best dry cleaning location I've ever been to! I've been going here for about 5 months and I've had nothing but 5 star service! The owner is wonderful. She's professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair, and so unbelievably kind. She always lets me know upfront if an item will take longer than expected, and usually follows that up with "is that ok?". She is very warm and welcoming and really cares about her clients. My clothes are always returned to me clean, no odors, no stains, no pilling, and on time. And the best part about this location is their pricing!!!!!! They are insanely cheap considering the work they do. Not only do I bring my dry cleaning here, but also anything I need patched up, sowed, or hemmed. Support this family business and form your own opinion. You won't be disappointed! read more

As the review below has stated (Hillary), I experienced this same exact problem. Except it was not a replaceable polo. This was a designer (Herve Leger) vintage dress that is absolutely irreplaceable. I was not offered a refund nor was I going to ask for one because no amount of money will make up for my one of a kind dress that got returned to me as a shirt. I just hope anyone considering going to these "dry cleaners" (who wash your clothes) will read this so this does not happen to anyone else. It does not help that the woman working and all of the "cleaners" speak poor english so I could not get any kind of clear explanation, other than my dress was ruined and could not be fixed. read more

I was so delighted with the way my husband's jackets smelled after having them cleaned here (fresh and clean..not the typical chemical smell), thanks to the eco-friendly cleaning. Kim, the new owner, was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this business. read more

Excellent dry cleaner - great value. And she's repaired two pairs of my daughter's jeans beautifully. Definitely a neighborhood favorite!

Do NOT use this establishment for your dry cleaning! I have been a well established customer for a couple of years at In & Out cleaners with a fair amount of business. I brought a dress in to be dry cleaned that I have owned for about 5 years and have had dry cleaned multiple times. I go to pick it up and it is completely ruined and instead of trying to work something out with me that would be fair, the owner refused to even acknowledge that they had any responsibility for ruining it!! In fact tried to blame me somehow for bringing a dress in that is clearly marked "Dry Clean Only". Their prices are cheap, but if there is ever a problem don't count on them owning it and working it out with you! read more

We needed to have a favorite quilt cleaned that was dirty and stained and needed some TLC before it could be used in our guest room. It hadn't been cleaned in a very (very!) long time, but we didn't want to throw it out. Heard this cleaners had a new owner and was worth trying, and am so glad we did. Service was really fast, friendly and effective--the quilt looks GREAT. Prices here are less than other cleaners we called, so that's a bonus. We also like that they emphasize using cleaning products that are environmentally friendly. Give them a try! read more

What a rip off. Dropped off several shirts and went back to pick them up and they said there was an additional charge because of the buttons. Paid it and next time there is another up charge for a blouse Should be up front about charges. There are a lot of cleaners around don't get ripped off here. read more

I've been taking my clothes here for a couple of years now. There have been several incidents that made me consider getting a new dry cleaners, repeatedly not having clothes ready by the date printed on the receipt, failing to actually clean clothes, and overcharging randomly. I don't mean stains, I mean I have taken clothes that smelled like deodorant and had them come out smelling the same. I would imagine if you took items smelling like body odours, they would come out smelling the same. However, I feel like everyone complains about their dry cleaner so I figured this was jus the norm. Beware that you must pre-pay and they send the clothes out, rather than dry clean them on site. About six months ago they also increased their prices and have started having less and less types of clothing fall under the "almost all pieces $3.45" umbrella. This doesn't include jackets, dresses, and sweaters (or anything that seems like a sweater), which can run $6-$10 each. I've taken in a blouse and had them say it was a sweater, and charge accordingly. Also, instead of two day laundry, it's now 4-7 day laundry. I moved further away from their location but kept taking my dry cleaning here because their prices are relatively reasonable. However, this last week I was so offended that I will no longer go here. My clothes were there a week due to the long weekend, understandable. My receipt said to pick them up on Monday. I went in but my clothes weren't there. The lady, clearly English was not her first or second language, just stood there looking at me confused, arms raised, as if I knew where the clothes were. Apparently they were not dropped off by the outside service. She didn't seem to understand what an inconvenience this was to not have my work clothes going into the work week. I again spent time driving across town the next day and a different foreign woman, apparently the owner, sort of apologised but mostly stood there with a stupid look on her face. I asked about a partial refund policy or any kind of compensation considering that they had wasted my time and inconvenienced me but she just shook her head indicating she didn't understand. They can say bye bye to $100/month of business. They lost a loyal customer. read more
