However, the attractions of being so high up are obvious once you're up there (there's a lift if your legs don't fancy the walk up) - you get a lovely view and on the evening I visited, I saw Guildford Cathedral looking all pretty and lit up They've made a real effort to make the rrestaurant feel an oasis from the harsh reality of the concrete car park and the moment you step in, you're greeted with an authentic 'Namaste' from the staff with the traditional Thai hand together greeting. The decor is great, from the Koi pond to the lovely relaxing bar area with lots of comfy sofas. My friend and I were almost too comfortable to want to move through for our meal! We started with grilled chicken with a sweet chilli sauce. The chicken was nicely moist and enhanced by the sauce. The star of our main courses was the mixed seafood dish, which had lovely large pieces of fish, sweet scallops, prawns and squid. We also had a subtly and sympathetically spiced pork with aubergine. The fish cakes came as 4 which were larger than normal and tasted of chewy burnt fried egg. The pad Thai - no taste and very bland with no peanuts or lime or chilli... not to mention the prawn crackers which were like biting on a rich tea biscuit and stale I reckon. After calling the restaurant to complain I was simply told the make comments would be passed on to the chef. Not even an apology or a refund for the bad order I had received. Maybe it's different service and food in the restaurant but the takeaway side to the Woking branch leaves a lot to be desired. Was so looking forward to my first thai in such a long time and have been very disappointed. As a Thai food lover especially Pad Thia. It was a real disappointment. Followed by very bad customer service. I would avoid this place for takeaway.

The food did not all come out at the same time quite spaced out. Also the restaurant was quite small so when loud drunk divorcees where drawing attention to themselves by speaking loudly you are close enough to tut loud enough or throw a fork at them. All in all a cracking little place where for £60 two people can have a cracking meal and a few drinks.
