Small and family run with a nice atmosphere. I have been on a few dates here when I first got with my partner and it is a nice intimate place to get to know someone. The menu is small but all the food is good quality, especially the Thai soups. It is one of the cheapest Thai's in Southampton but one of the best quality. If there is something not on the menu you want, just ask and they will make it for you. As well as this they will make things just as you like them.

There is huge TV screen at one end and a group of men were nosily watching a Euro 16 game - but came over apologised - and how many pubs have customers who do that? A very decent Bishop's Leap Sauvignon began the meal and we had a full menu of tempura vegetables, fish cakes, prawn laksa, prawn yellow curry and 'weeping tiger' beef on an iron griddle that would have fed four. All were excellent - I haven't had a better laksa even in Asia. My only criticism is that I would have preferred the beef underdone. On a later occasion, I had three absolutely delicious dishes - rice paper rolls (with prawns), a sea bass curry and banana fritters and coconut iceceam. And the Bishop's Leap Sauvignon. Perfect! A great addition to the area and regular returns assured!

Weeping tiger is a garlic heads dream come true, just don't expect to be doing much kissing afterwards. All the curries are plentiful and you can have them more or less anyway you want them, hot / mild with different meats or a mixture of them all. The noodles 39 (pad thai) are simply delicious and I often have to dip in here at lunch for a nibble The staff are super friendly, very attentive and they will cater for all needs.

A comfortable restaurant with friendly helpful staff, usually fully booked at weekends. The menu is a little bit different to most Thai places - I think this is because it's probably more authentic. If you've eaten in Thailand, you probably won't be disappointed here but might want to ask for things a little hotter. Reasonable prices and nice wines. A good place for a cosy date or meal with the parents.
