I ate here for lunch based on recommendations from friends...mistake. Once again, only one poor waitress working the entire restaurant by herself during lunch. Many customers where on a tight lunch/work schedule with limited time and they where upset how long it took to order and receive their meals. Some guests walked over to other tables to give the waitress their orders. The waitress was stressed and not very helpful nor patient with the guests. The lunch menu is very reasonable but the food isn't that great. I ordered two beverages...Thai iced tea (because I was thirsty and I love it) and a pot of hot jasmine tea (because it was extremely windy and barely above freezing outside and I was feeling a little sick.) The waitress loudly exclaimed, "That is too much!" (What?!) There is better Pad Thai in the area. www.papayatree.co.uk

I have been to this restaurant a few times while working in London the food is marvelous, the atmosphere is cozy, great place for a romantic evening, the entire place is a gem! The place is downstairs and a little on the smaller side but cute and quiet! Definitely will be returning!

Very good Thai food though prices are leaning towards the high end of the mid-price range.

Many flight crews come here because it's close to our layover hotel making it a fantastic choice for those of us seeking flavorful and moderately priced Thai cuisine. My friend Jerri suggested it so, I decided to give Thai Terrace a try. I was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The owner even served us! The menu at Thai Terrace is diverse, offering a wide range of mouthwatering options. I ordered the owner's recommended dish: Thai noodles with tofu. I think it was #65 in the menu. I must say, it was a true masterpiece of flavors. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the tofu added a delightful texture to the dish. Every bite was packed with authentic Thai flavors that were both vibrant and well-balanced. My friend Jerri ordered the chicken curry, and we shared some starters. n conclusion, I highly recommend Thai Terrace for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in London. The restaurant's moderate pricing coupled with its delectable flavors make it a truly excellent choice.

With just the two of us, we got a table right away but a larger group may have issues. The tables are close together, so if you want to have a private conversation, this is not the place. You will get to know the folks at the table beside you, whether you want to or not. We're pretty chill and fine with that though! We split an order of Shrimp Pad Thai and also had spring rolls. We do this to avoid leftovers or wasting food. The Pad Thai had lots of peanuts which gave it crunch. The spring rolls were piping hot, and I only wished I had more dipping sauce for them. London in general is more expensive than a lot of European cities, so lunch wasn't cheap, but it was about what we expected for the location.

No one bothered to explain the menu, and when I asked if the fried rice could be made spicier, all they offered was some chili paste on the side. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the vegetarian jungle curry, but it was a letdown--no real texture or flavour, just kind of bland. On top of that, the prices were way too high for what you get. Honestly, this was one of the most underwhelming Thai food experiences I've had in London. Definitely won't be going back, and I don't think I'll miss it.

The ox tongues dish was the most impressive one. All of us said that we never tasted ox tongues as tender as this place. The duck curry was my 2nd favorite. The curry was flavorful and the portion of duck meat was generous. The servers are super friendly here. The ambiance was appealing. It gave me a welcomed feeling. Very nice service! I had the vegetarian green papaya salad, and another vegetarian dish with wide flat noodles, the spicy version. The green papaya salad was absolutely delicious. It's one of my favorite thai dishes, but I never thought to order it vegetarian, and I liked it even better without the fish sauce. My second dish was not as good. It had a slightly weird taste in it. And as dishes started being delivered to the tables around me the whole place just had that weird smell about it.
