After eating dinner from 1630-1800 on a Sunday, here's my takeaway... This Thai restaurant is a lovely, calming, quiet little gem in a fairly busy area of London (close to a hospital and touristy destinations). For food, we ordered the red curry with chicken, pad Thai with chicken, some shrimp dish I can't remember the name of, a "lemonade" (which was really Sprite!), Thai iced tea, and some lemon and coconut ice cream. The lemon was more of a sorbet and the coconut was a sweet, creamy ice cream. All of it was yummy! The red curry wasn't as spicy as I anticipated, but the flavors of each dish were classic and spot on. If I lived in London, this would definitely be a regular spot for me. The location and interior couldn't have been more perfect. Easy to get to, no loud/crowded dining room, lighting was peaceful (not over bearing or too dark) and the staff were very friendly. What more could you ask for in a restaurant location? Some other notes to help you make a decision: - They have a small drink menu, but do have some wines. - Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well decorated. - The total bill was about 45 pounds for two drinks, three entrees, two bowls of rice, and two desserts. - It cost about 5 pounds to get here in a taxi from the Albert and Victoria museum and only took a few minutes. Probably a 20min walk. - Conveniently, there was a power outlet right next to our table where I could charge my cell phone! Overall I highly recommend this place for it's well portioned food and a place to relax after a long day of touring or working. This would make a great date-night spot! Food is one reason to go to a restaurant, but the right atmosphere is also a good reason!

My wife loved this place. In particular she appreciated yamunsen. Tom yum soup and pad thai were not so impressive, while atmosphere is European instead of Asian exotic.

The food was delicious. Friendly and prompt service This restaurant is a hidden jewel. Definitely recommend.

Apparently just reopened after some kitchen renovations. I was first and only customer. Food was great and service was fine.

I just tried the phad thai. It's okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here though (especially as parking here is a challenge).

It's a real gem in Earl's court, you can sit outside if it's not too cold, and it feels like you're eating in someone's home.

Many flight crews come here because it's close to our layover hotel making it a fantastic choice for those of us seeking flavorful and moderately priced Thai cuisine. My friend Jerri suggested it so, I decided to give Thai Terrace a try. I was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The owner even served us! The menu at Thai Terrace is diverse, offering a wide range of mouthwatering options. I ordered the owner's recommended dish: Thai noodles with tofu. I think it was #65 in the menu. I must say, it was a true masterpiece of flavors. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the tofu added a delightful texture to the dish. Every bite was packed with authentic Thai flavors that were both vibrant and well-balanced. My friend Jerri ordered the chicken curry, and we shared some starters. n conclusion, I highly recommend Thai Terrace for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in London. The restaurant's moderate pricing coupled with its delectable flavors make it a truly excellent choice.

With just the two of us, we got a table right away but a larger group may have issues. The tables are close together, so if you want to have a private conversation, this is not the place. You will get to know the folks at the table beside you, whether you want to or not. We're pretty chill and fine with that though! We split an order of Shrimp Pad Thai and also had spring rolls. We do this to avoid leftovers or wasting food. The Pad Thai had lots of peanuts which gave it crunch. The spring rolls were piping hot, and I only wished I had more dipping sauce for them. London in general is more expensive than a lot of European cities, so lunch wasn't cheap, but it was about what we expected for the location.

No one bothered to explain the menu, and when I asked if the fried rice could be made spicier, all they offered was some chili paste on the side. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the vegetarian jungle curry, but it was a letdown--no real texture or flavour, just kind of bland. On top of that, the prices were way too high for what you get. Honestly, this was one of the most underwhelming Thai food experiences I've had in London. Definitely won't be going back, and I don't think I'll miss it.

We ordered ox tongues, fish cakes, satay, spring rolls, fried chicken wings, fried eggs and duck curry. They are all impressive as the photos in the menu. The ox tongues dish was the most impressive one. All of us said that we never tasted ox tongues as tender as this place. The duck curry was my 2nd favorite. The curry was flavorful and the portion of duck meat was generous. The servers are super friendly here. The ambiance was appealing. It gave me a welcomed feeling. My party enjoyed this last meal we had in London. We recommended this place to our friends who live in London right after the meal. I think I will come back again next time I visit London.

Very nice service! I had the vegetarian green papaya salad, and another vegetarian dish with wide flat noodles, the spicy version. The green papaya salad was absolutely delicious. It's one of my favorite thai dishes, but I never thought to order it vegetarian, and I liked it even better without the fish sauce. My second dish was not as good. It had a slightly weird taste in it. And as dishes started being delivered to the tables around me the whole place just had that weird smell about it.
