The food was tasty but they come in small portions, so, if you are 'hangry' you may want to look for a quick sandwich that fills you up as the prices are not too budget friendly. My son and I ordered sauteed beef, chicken satay, crying tiger beef, thai tea, and white rice (of course). Visiting from SoCal, I am a bit spoiled when it comes to Thai food (with a discriminating taste buds). The place is cozy and clean. When in South Kensington, check out this spot.

Located in Kensington on Cromwell Road and made reservations on the day of. They are pretty small with probably 10 or less tables. Very modern romantic interior. Decent service provided by all wait staff. I would say portions are somewhat generous and prices aren't outrageous for the area. The pad thai and curry were tasty and cooked very well. Veggies were a highlight too as they had great saucy flavor to them. I would say the Thai food is authentic for the area.

Chicken pad Thai and a Thai iced tea!

I came in around 9 on a Friday and it wasn't that busy as they were closing early for Good Friday. I didn't get any of those chips though.. the table after me did :(. I ordered chicken pad thai and a Thai iced tea. It came out fairly quick. I think my server was training so everything was really Slow and I had different people waiting on me as well which was funky. It's a nice quiet place for dinner and there is no rush. Thai iced tea was good but small and the chicken was moist so that was good. They add auto gratuity so no need to tip extra. Good place for Thai food as it's pretty decent. I obviously wish the portion was bigger... but we aren't in America so that won't happen!

Such a cute little place. The food has always been amazing when I come here. I love the Pad Thai, and the coconut rice is sooo good. Highly recommend this place! I always try to come when I'm in town :)

Excellent food. You can't go wrong. We had Panang curry and Seabass. The food was great. What can I say, you should come and check it out. We didn't have the Satay, but we did have the roasted duck rolls. They were not as good as I hoped. However, all the other dishes were excellent! Service also was great! Come check it out. You will not be disappointed...

I have been here 4-5 times over the years & this place is consistently good! The service is good the food is always good !! I was just here with a group of friends & everyone was happy with their food. The yellow curry is always good!

    Massaman curry

Just walked in from the Street, because of the good reviews on Yelp. Fast and kind service. The appetiser though (Duck Rolls) we're quite disappointing, no Thai taste there. Actually no taste at all. The duck seamed like it was straight of the refrigerator For main course I had Massaman curry with lamb and this were quite good. Nice Thai taste and really tender lamb. Unfortunately the service kind of faded away with the main course. So due to the really bad appetiser. And the missing attention, It can only be like a medium experience.

    Crispy pork filled wonton appetizer.

I found this place on Yelp, and as we needed a restaurant near our hotel we decided to try it out. I'm very glad we did. My partner and I enjoyed a tasty 'Crispy pork-filled wonton' appetizer, which wasn't quite like anything we've had before. Mains consisted of Pad Kee Mao (similar to Chicken Pad Thai) and Sizzling Beef. Both were beautifully presented, delicious and satisfying. If you're contemplating a visit to Thai Taste I can say that the food is delicious, ambience trendy and relaxing, and staff friendly. If I have one small criticism it would be the amount of time we had to wait for the bill. Other than that small issue our experience was wonderful!

My wife and I traveled to London for a week from New York and had our dinner here. We ordered the yellow curry, pad see ew as main course and fish cake, dumpling as appetizer. The space is ok, clean and seats are comfort but just little too tight. Foods are ok, I say it's little above average because we tried so many good Thai restaurants in New York and in Thailand. Not too impressive about the taste. The service is average as well , the lady who served us just did her job. Overall, this restaurant provided what we expected.

My mom and I were staying in a nearby hotel and were trying some of the local restaurants around. We stumbled upon this place, and I'm sure glad we did! The food was so great that we ended up eating here twice in one week. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was also amazing. We didn't make a reservation on a particularly busy night, but KC managed to fit us in! We were so grateful. Definitely will be recommending this to other friends and family.

Gorgeous presentation and even better flavours!! And the coconut rice is to die for!

Many flight crews come here because it's close to our layover hotel making it a fantastic choice for those of us seeking flavorful and moderately priced Thai cuisine. My friend Jerri suggested it so, I decided to give Thai Terrace a try. I was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The owner even served us! The menu at Thai Terrace is diverse, offering a wide range of mouthwatering options. I ordered the owner's recommended dish: Thai noodles with tofu. I think it was #65 in the menu. I must say, it was a true masterpiece of flavors. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the tofu added a delightful texture to the dish. Every bite was packed with authentic Thai flavors that were both vibrant and well-balanced. My friend Jerri ordered the chicken curry, and we shared some starters. n conclusion, I highly recommend Thai Terrace for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in London. The restaurant's moderate pricing coupled with its delectable flavors make it a truly excellent choice.

No one bothered to explain the menu, and when I asked if the fried rice could be made spicier, all they offered was some chili paste on the side. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the vegetarian jungle curry, but it was a letdown--no real texture or flavour, just kind of bland. On top of that, the prices were way too high for what you get.
